Been staying here for years. Was always quiet, relaxing, my family loves fishing right on the little dock there. Hotel has really gone down hill in the last few years.

Hotel is full, 40+ rooms of FEMA tenants. Our vehicle was hit & run while parked in lot by tenant of hotel. Police came and plate on vehicle didn’t match vehicle nor was vehicle registered at hotel although maintenance & other guests confirmed they’ve been there for weeks/months. Police did nothing. Dock is starting to get run down, lighting no longer works, wood starting to rot. Beds were most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept in. Like sleeping on wood. Sadly, we will not return.

Front desk staff was very nice and I enjoyed talking to her while I was checking in and each time I would pass by the front desk walking in or outside. She was friendly and I appreciated that after over 20 hours of driving.

Only had one problem...Breakfast started at 0600. I packed everything out of my room and left my keycard on the dresser and loaded everything into my truck and went back to get breakfast. Front door was supposed to be open without a card after 0600 and I was unable to go back in to grab some food on my way to work. I'm sure this was an isolated problem or an oversight on the staff's part so I won't knock them for the inconvenience.

This was my seventh straight year of taking some vacation time at this hotel and visiting family I have in the area. My first four stays were great. The next two had issues involving room keys, housekeeping and the pool and jacuzzi area in the back. I still liked this hotel and decided to come back. I had another great stay just like the first four. They obviously listened when I brought these issues up in my last two reviews. The problems have clearly been fixed. As always, I love relaxing out on the dock and the beach at night out back, The water temperature in the pool was the best it ever was since I have been coming here, the hotel was as usual quiet when it's supposed to be. The hotel is in an excellent location as there are plenty of beaches, parks and good places to eat nearby. I had a very nice relaxing stay here just like I use to. Like I have said in the past, you know you had a great stay when you hate the fact that your checkout time is approaching. If all goes well, I hope to return again next winter as I really enjoyed this stay as this hotel made a nice comeback for me by fixing the problems of the past.

No problems, As I said, the issues have been taken care of.

I'm not sure why (I've stayed here many times before) but my room was upgraded to a "water view" which was great! They added bacon and eggs to the breakfast which was great as well! The location is excellent as it is within walking distance of several bar/restaurants with outside seating. I will definitely be back when I want to visit Hutchinson Island again.

Aside from the weather which, of course, has nothing to do with the facility, I don't like that they have installed soap dispensers at the sink as well as for the shower. They no longer provide soap of any kind just for your personal use. I may be wrong but I feel this is unsanitary. It is messy as well; several large spots on the shower wall were just beneath the dispenser revealing that the shower was not thoroughly cleaned.

Nice variety, loved the hot scrambled eggs, sausage and waffle machine. Was able to stay on diabetic diet with the choices at breakfast. The staff were friendly and very accomodating!

We found several small roaches in our room the first nite! We were so careful to not have any food or trash in our room to avoid attracting the roaches. There was mold under the rim of the bathroom sink and in the calling around tub and bathroom floor. The room needed painting.

The staff was exceptional. We stayed midweek for one night and were able to get an upgraded room with an amazing view with A porch that overlooked the water! It was too cold to go swimming in the pool or on the private beach, but we took full advantage of the hot tub!

Original room on the first floor would have had a view of the parking lot. My answers are based on the upgraded room.

Been here many times before and will definitely come again. Love the location. You can, literally, walk to several bars, restaurants and the beach. I get to the hotel, park my car and forget it until I leave the next day. Just what I'm looking for, a relaxing night away and that is exactly what I get. The staff is friendly, accommodating and always smiling!

Can't think of anything negative to say except that I had planned on an early check in (around 2 pm) and when I arrived my room wasn't ready. That was the first time this happened and I was surprised. I need to add though that to their credit, they were in the process of putting new mattresses in all the rooms!

The private small beach and pier were great! The room had excellent amenities - big fridge and freezer, microwave, coffee maker. The room was very clean. A small supermarket and some other shops were within walking distance.

Checking in, the personnel was a bit indifferent and looked fed up - would appreciate smiling a bit and giving me focused attention instead of chatting with other workers about something else at the same time. That said, I was able to check in early which was greatly appreciated. Not very many choices at breakfast, eg. eggs would have been great.

Great location with a small quiet beach front with a fishing pier. Small pool, but good size to take a dip. The hot tub was the perfect size and a great temperature. Parking was great. Lots of great restaurant options and local shopping close by.

The desk staff was awful. They weren't trained how to use their computer system and check in took forever. They probably would have done better if they would have put their phones down while customers were checking in.

Breakfast was good: hot waffles, yogurt, fruit, cereal, hard boiled eggs, bagels, muffins, pastry, coffee and juices. The pool, hot tub and dock with chairs facing the water were all great! We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony having a cup of coffee in the morning overlooking the Marina as well. Nice staff!

There was a wood strip on the floor in front of the tub instead of tile and the water pressure in the shower was not strong, but the water was nice and hot. Also, the king bed was too soft for our liking.
