Location, clean, comfortable

No soap to wash hands, no shower gel or hair products for to take a shower. Didn't see any washing up liquid or sponge to wash up cups etc.a small amount of these products would have been great. The apartment was noisy our room was at the back of the pub drunken monkey there were people drinking right outside our front door. Would have liked a room with a balcony with evening sun our room faced a road. But overall it was fine for a three day stay.

Beds comfy, very clean throughout. Staff polite, friendly and helpful. Location good for us. On site shop for convenience.

Pool area no shade so didn't use it. Pool bar was over priced.

Everything was in walking distance a good location to base yourself

No iron or hair dryer but can get over that, a little noisy at night if ypu didn't fancy a late night as bedroom back out on to strip

Nice staff,Nice bar with good food.Reasonably priced with happy hour and lunch offers.Nice pool with water jets that was sectioned off .Nice temperature. Good location not far from beach ,bars and restaurants. Apartment was cleaned twice in the week ,with towel change these days.Good facilities in the apartment. Sea and pool view.Good lift to all floors.Small shop with basics.Laundry and drying service available at a cost.24 hour reception.

No air con or poolside umbrellas.

the location of this hotel is excellent if you want to stay in old town. it is situated across from the Craic N Ceol so down the street from the shopping centre. It was a very clean and spacious hotel. The swimming pool was lovely with massage jets the come on 3 times in the day..great if you have a bad back. we had lunch at the hotel which was nice..cant say anything bad about it.

the wifi was slow... i was trying to send some work emails and was very slow.

The room was small but clean and neat and had everything we needed. Powerful warm shower. The location is very central and 5 minute walk to beach and lots of restaurants. There are steps for any direction you want to go I. Staff friendly and helpful. Maids came once in five day stay. Food was tasty and reasonably priced and a handy mini market on site too. Left luggage facility too. A lift to all floors. Lots to like about this hotel.

However because of the central location it’s really noisy at night. There are some very loud open air bars on the Main Street behind the hotel. You will need earplugs!

this hotel is very central in the old town of porto del carmen. to the side of the hotel there are about 40 steps up and you reach the road about 500m away is the shopping centre. Accross the road is the craic n ceol.. the restaurants in old town are minutes away so great place for being central. the apartments were very clean and the cleaners came in every second day to change towels..great service. the pool was lovely with a shallow end and a deep end.. i wish there were steps into the pool rather than the ladder down...i had food at the pool bar which was really nice and a quick service.. the rooms we were in were well equipped with kitchenette which included fridge, microwave, hob and coffee machine....all you needed for a relaxing stay

the wifi reception was not good...i had some work to do and what should have taken me 5 minutes took me 40 minutes. people complain about the noise but i didn't find it bad...maybe because i was socialising until 1am and the place was generally quiet when we got back.. if you are a light sleeper then don't choose the deluxe double rooms which face onto the road.... this is a very nice hotel

Situated in a lovely area staff are very helpful

If are situated near the drunken Monkey you may hear music and the customers may disturb your sleep

location was perfect, close to everything, room was lovely and spacious

the pool bar closed at 4pm although not the hotels fault, music started blaring from the pub beside us at 9 every morning until very late at night

This was my 2nd stay at Costa Volcan and like the first time it was excellent. Great location very close to the shops, beach, bars and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Liked everything no complaints.
