The stay was great! The room was above a hotel on a bustling road full of great cafes but so well soundproofed I didn’t hear anything, not even other guests in the corridor outside my room. The staff were great, I felt very welcome. The room itself was large and great to move around in in an electric wheelchair, well stocked with bottled water, and tea making facilities, and the bathroom was a nice, modern, well designed accessible bathroom. Because of the reasonable price and superb location, very central to everything, I will definitely be staying again.

The mattress was a little too unforgiving for my liking, I prefer something softer as well as supportive, and the pillows weren’t great, so next visit I will definitely ask if there are any other pillows as the ones in my room were ready to be replaced.

Hotel was an amazing price and included a breakfast that was delivered to the kitchen each morning. It was a great location with lots of food options around. Walking into the pub downstairs I was a little worried but then you are taken upstairs to a beautiful little boutique hotel which is so quiet.

The only bad thing is the parking situation but nothing the hotel can do about that.

Location, friendly staff, communal kitchen area with Juices, water, milk and condiments supplied, the price is reasonable.

We were lucky to get the last room but is was a disability room which is fine but the bathroom has an open shower room with no where to hang clothes or towels off the floor which is pooled with water after a shower. The entire floor space was wet not just the shower end. It would be good if it drained quicker / more freely and there was wall mounted hangers to keep things off the wet floor.

got to the crown hotel on night of a football match and thought oh no this is not looking promising but all changed when we were escorted to the second floor it was clean and quiet

the shower made the floor in front of the toilet very wet so I had to lay a towel down for my husband and myself for fear of falling I think a ceiling rail where you could pull a shower curtain across just a clear ikea shower curtain would suffice would work and you could renew them every so often but other than that the bathroom was very roomy

The owners/manager was very hospitable. Free drinks are very nice. The food availability locally is GREAT!! the rooms are a little bit of a work in progress but very comfortable and clean. The door to the toilet was a bit dodgy but otherwise it was pretty good.

Parking is tricky there but not too bad. Overall there wasn't much to not like.

The staff are amazing! So friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely and beds super comfy. Location is good with lots of restaurants and cafes in walking distance. It was surprisingly quiet, no noise from the pub or street below. Excellent value for money, will definitely stay here again.

Very nice renovations. Surprisingly keeps the traffic noice out well. Nice communal kitchen area to make coffee. Will definitely stay here again.

Check with staff re included breakfast - were told that a cafe across the road would send a bill to the hotel for what we order. However only 1 x free pastry from the cafe is included, plus 15% discount on other purchases. Other then that, the cafe was lovely!

What an awesome place to stay, the staffs hospitality was outstanding, the room was clean spacious and comfortable. With an added bonus which included complimentary drinks of your choosing and 10% discount on all food and beverages.

The one and only issue we had was the shower which took a very long time for the water to heat up to the desired temperature.

The two by attenders, which were women, and the guy working on the ain’t around one 2 am were brilliant even as a TikTok Creator don’t read over 1 million followers. I suggested their hotel as a great one so I hope they get some great opportunities from that.

Not a fan of lifts so I think there should be a stair option, you can take stairs down but cant get access back up, this is the only reason we can fault on, really need stair access for people like us with phobias and also for fire reasons
