Style, size, location, service, cleanliness (except toilet on C floor)

The location was nice. Stayed Sat night until Sun. Was able to park right in front of the hotel since street parking on Sunday was able. The rooms were better than i thought. It's just that the bathroom was little too big for the room and too many doors for entering bathroom. No locks was bad. The showers were amazing but not having door kind of got me restrained from washing because the waters splashing on the floor. Another thing was the BED. I had very hard time sleeping. Bed was too soft and bad mattress. With the price of room I paid, I thought it could do better mattresses.

I didn't like the bed- mattress being too soft. Bathroom having too many doors and no locks. Shower door may need since water still do splash to outside shower.

The reservation was done through Booking, during which I was notified that the room can be paid Cash upon arrival. However, when I checked out, I found out that the first night was charged to my Credit Card without any prior notice. This has never happened before. I would appreciate your explanation to this.

Fantastic room with views over the public library, empire state and Bryant park. We stayed as a family of 4 and had the best time in the 2-bedroom suite. The staff were lovely and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We stayed for 1 week and could have stayed longer. Definitely recommend.

Lacked lighting but really a very minor issue

I think the included snacks could maybe include something a bit ‘healthy’ I didn’t bring slippers thinking they would be provided and was disappointed they were not. Luggage ‘trays’ would be helpful. There is a nice alcove of space between the hanging closet and the fridge/safe that would accommodate it well. I remember my first visit to the Andaz included Bigelow Chemists products including foot salts to use in the amazing foot bath. It would be nice to bring that back. One thing you do in NYC is walk-a soothing foot bath gets your feet ready for the next day!!

All the staff was superb! Excellent room over Bryant Park! Excellent location! We love the daily complimentary drinks like coffee, wine and mulled cider! The bed was a cloud!!

The property location was perfect, and yhe staff members were so patients and helpful with me. service was exceptional, they had water to give at the lobby with no extra fee. The lobby lounge was comfortable and the did serve coffee til 11 am and had wine after 5pm. It’snthese little additionals that will make guests come back.

For the second time now my credit card was charged for the first night, although I asked to pay in cash upon arrival, as I did in previous times. After my stay in May we notified the Hotel on this mistake and were told by the Reception Manager (who was very professional and service oriented) it is a mistake and will not happen again. During my stay in June it happened again. What can we do to stop this and contiue with paying cash please?

The location is great and the staff were excellent, especially Sasha at the front desk. The room as very comfortable and the bathroom huge with a great walk-in shower. The breakfast was excellent. It was a short walk to everything we wanted to see. Highly recommend.
