The location was fantastic, making it very convenient for getting around. The staff were professional and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. The room and hotel interiors were beautiful, and I especially loved the high ceilings, which made the space feel even more luxurious. The bed was incredibly comfortable.

I find fixed showerhead less convenient than a handheld option. Also the heating system is a bit noisy which might bother light sleepers.

Yes recently renovated, everything looked new, good location near grand central station. Stayed in a king/ deluxe room, the bed was huge and so comfortable. New water bottles every day. Very clean and lots of space.

Our room was near the stairwell and could hear noise in the mornings which we assume were staff coming in and out about 7am. False fire alarm went off for a few seconds one morning around 7.30am and then speaker to say it was false alarm.

It was great overall. The room was great. It was clean. The staff was great and helpful. The location was great.

I wish there could have been room service options. I also wish the stay had an included breakfast option also an early check-in without any extra charge. I lost my phone that day and was unable to utilise any hotel service. I wish that I could use the hotel phone or email to contact someone to help me out.

We stayed in newly renovated rooms, all clean and fresh. Much has been said about the renovation work that is going on, but we barely noticed it.

Water pressure in bathroom sink was poor (1007), window seal allowing cold air in (1008). Otherwise all fine.

The location next to Grand Central and Bryant Park was great as we were close to everything and always close to home when we needed to go back for a rest. Also the staff was friendly and helpful! Quiet room, no noise from street or neighbours!

The size of the bed was a bit small for two people and there was only nightstand and electric sockets on one side. It was also very dark as no light came thru the window. I suspect this was becouse there were scaffolding outside the window, but we couldn't see thru the window to confirm this. I hope it was temporarly. Felt like a basement. Other then that we didn't notice the renovation going on.

The hotel's location was fantastic, conveniently situated near local attractions and restaurants. The rooms were clean, which made for a comfortable stay. The hotel staff were also warm, friendly, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions during our visit. One of the highlights of our stay was the peaceful atmosphere; there was minimal noise, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time without any disturbances. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant getaway.

Our experience with the hotel's Wi-Fi was quite disappointing. While we could connect, the speed was incredibly slow, making it nearly impossible to accomplish even the simplest tasks. We struggled to read emails, with messages taking a long time to load, and browsing the internet felt like an exercise in frustration.

More than excellent hotel! Perfect location, within walking distance of all the hotspots. 2 minute walk to Grand Central and The Summit (must do with teens!) Staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Nice lobby. The only negative we can think off… the sound of the elevator shaft, when you are in room 1004 (and probably also the rooms close by) the elevator makes a scraping noice when being used. This is very noticeable in the room and could wake you up. We used earplugs so it was fine in the end. When you book through booking be aware that “kids till 12 stay on your room for free” means they have to sleep in the same bed. Bed was very big so no problem. The teen thought something off it… off course 🙈 We would defend come back here. I hope it’s stays affordable..

The rooms are really modern and comfy. It felt very luxurious and was a great location. Only issue was our room wasn't cleaned one day, but the hotel rectified this and made sure the rest of the stay we were prioritised.

Staff were hit and miss, some really nice friendly staff and some were a bit rude or unhelpful. One occasion annoyed us where the receptionist was just having a chat with someone whilst we stood waiting for our key after a longggg travel day. I'm still waiting for my hold deposit (250 dollars) so hopefully that won't be too much longer - just keep in mind when budgeting for your trip.

Location was great.

I booked this room 8 months in advance and selected a 2 double bed room. Upon check in I was told this room was not available. So we were given a king and sofa pull out room. I had messaged back and forth with the hotel leading up to our stay and this was never mentioned until check in. I wish we had been advised of this in advance or at least placed in a room with 2 actual beds, since that is what I booked well in advance.
