Really friendly staff. The garden is a lovely quiet, shady spot away from the busy crowds, but close to a water bus stop and places to eat. Breakfast is taken in the garden or inside as you prefer and plenty of space in each. Self service breakfast and also freshly cooked scrambled eggs offered with cheese and ham if you like.

Bathroom is a bit cramped but everything works perfectly.

Excellent location, just a very short walk from the water taxi stop. About 15 mins to St Mark's Square and the Rialto. Many shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Lovely small hotel with a few rooms and cute garden. Friendly staff who were helpful and 2 gorgeous cats! The breakfast was good and they made us fresh, strong, cappuccinos, which is a big plus from me! The room was small and smelt slightly damp. The beds were comfy and the shower was hot and strong, although we did have a minor leakage from the shower basin across the bathroom floor and into the bedroom, which was not great. The room was quiet and OK for an overnight stay but one of the bedside lights was not working and there was a distinct lack of plug sockets, which meant you had to choose between charging your phone and using a bedside lamp or the TV, for instance, which again is really not ideal. Other than that, I would say it's a lovely hotel and I would stay there again in similar circumstances.

The facilities are nice and clean. The garden is beautiful. The staff was polite and gave us directions. The location is very good, in a calmer area but still near the center. The rooms were okay and comfortable. The breakfast had many good options.

There was air conditioning in only one of the rooms, which we didn't expect. So the other room had one fan and only one outlet. The staff offered another fan, but there were no other outlets to use. So I recommend making it explicit the two single bed room has no air conditioning and offer visitors more outlets to use in that room.

In fact, the facility should have more stars than it currently has. Breakfast exceeding expectations. Homemade pastries, 2 types of cold cuts, cheeses, 3 types of bread, fruit or an Italian breakfast option. 3 types of coffee. The alleged disadvantage that I read about turned out to be an advantage: 4 minutes walk from the Vaporetto port or 10 minutes walk from the Rialto Bridge or 15 minutes from St. Mark's Square. Relaxing garden - patio. The staff at the facility are brilliant; you can see that they enjoy working at the hotel (the lovely Mrs. Sylwia). After 3 weeks of exploring Umbria, Tuscany, Siena, % Terra, it was the 2-day stay at the Boccassio Hotel that was the most relaxing, despite the fact that this is our fourth visit to Venice. This is not a slogan or a mere assurance that we will return. We will definitely come back here again. Thank you for a nice stay.

There was absolutely no such thing.

The Ambiance of the place was very nice, relaxing, calming, attention to details was obviously observed. The location was great, walking distance to almost everywhere, its near the Fondamente Nover station, especially if you arrived and will leave through the airport. The staff, especially Giulia, who has a very pleasing personality, made our check-in a breeze.

The cats that are freely moving all over the dining area, at times comes gets too close to guests who might have allergies and to the cutlery for hygiene purposes. Hope the owner can keep them in the courtyard instead of the dining area.

Affordable Accommodation: Given its location in Venice, the hotel offers a very affordable rate, making it accessible for budget-conscious travelers. Attentive Staff: The staff at Casa Boccassini were incredibly nice and attentive. They allowed us to store our luggage both before check-in and after checkout, which was very convenient. Resident Cat: A lovely cat roams the premises, adding a homely and charming touch to the hotel atmosphere. Comfortable Rooms: Although the rooms are not very large, they are comfortable for a stay of a couple of nights. Beautiful Building and Garden: The hotel building is beautiful, and the garden is a pleasant space to relax and enjoy your stay. Tasty Breakfast: The breakfast provided is tasty and plentiful, giving a great start to the day. Convenient Location: The hotel is conveniently located next to a water bus stop, allowing easy access to various parts of Venice. Quiet and Beautiful Area: Situated in a quieter part of Venice, the hotel provides a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, yet still close enough to enjoy all the attractions.

Broken Shower: The shower was somewhat broken, causing water to spread across the bathroom floor when showering. Limited Storage Space: There wasn't enough storage space in the room, which might be a concern for guests with more luggage.

Very nice, friendly & helpful staff, lovely breakfast selection and nothing was too much of an issue for them, location was excellent & the room was very clean and made up whilst we were there which we did not expect as only there 2 nights. would definatly recommend here.

Only thing we would have liked would to have had our own kettle in our room so we make a late night or early morning cup of tea or coffee, but this is minor really, just positive critisism.

This is a very lovely and cozy hotel located in a quiet alley near the ferry stop. We booked the family room for 1 night. All of the staff are very kind and welcoming. Giulia, especially went above and beyond to give us an excellent stay, from answering all our questions, helping us with transportation, and restaurant recommendations. The breakfast which was included is delicious. It is buffet style with croissants, toast, cold cuts, fruits, cereals, eggs and different cakes.

The hotel exceeded our expectations! The staff were very accommodating and polite as we didn’t speak much Italian. We were given a map of recommended places to visit which was very helpful! The bedroom and en suite were very clean and a perfect size for the two of us. We enjoyed breakfast in their beautiful garden, and got to meet the resident cats and tortoises. It was the perfect location for our short stay. Not too far from the lively areas of Venice, but far enough away to enjoy a quiet nights sleep. We cannot recommend highly enough, molto bene!

Really lovely location just a couple of minutes walking away from the ferry, and from several attractions. The reception, and our welcome was outstanding. We got a map of Venice with tips and tricks marked on it on arrival, and also my girlfriend was allowed to use the staff bathroom. Everyone was really nice. The breakfast was outstanding. The whole lobby, and garden is lovely. Honesty, we left to Rome, but we wished we didn't. I wish I could go back sometime! Also, great price for the location, and the services.

The AC in the room could not be used for heating (honestly for obvious reasons) but on arrival my girlfriend was cold, so it was a slight inconvinience. We had spare blankets in the wardrobe, so no problem. Also, a small fridge, if not a minibar would have been nice. The booking did not state that we will have one, don't get me wrong, but still, it is a small investment, which would have made our lives much easier.
