Large room, tastefully decorated and well appointed. Large gym with a good selection of machines and equipment. Welcoming and helpful guest services staff at check in and during our stay. Great location within walking distance to conference center and downtown area.

I would have given a 10, however staff at checkout stated an additional nightly amenity fee was owed at checkout, even though I had clear documentation that the amenity fee was included in the the room rate paid in advance. Despite this, I was told that the fee was "never included" in the booking.com rates and I needed to pay it again + ask booking.com to have the pre-paid amenity fee refunded. This seemed rather ridiculous. The problem was eventually resolved, however no apology was offered. This left a bad taste after an otherwise excellent stay.

I'd like to give an 8.5 if I could. Excellent location - walking distance to many sites, shops and restaurants as well as an easy walk to South station. The included breakfast buffet was good - not remarkable but more than sufficient (eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes or French toast, fruits, yogurt, cereal, toast). The gym was very nice - a decent size with plenty of amenities (towels, peloton bikes). We just happened to get a great deal on a nicer room because it was a slow weekend. For that reason it was a good value - I don't know if I'd still feel that way if we'd paid the standard rate. So, I guess keep an eye out for good last minute deals!

There were only super minor things. The fridge is so full of mini bar items that there is very little room to use for your own leftovers etc. Our room had a nice soaking tub and when filled the water was very green and smelled a bit of chlorine. The best I could get is that perhaps it was a cleaning solution leftover in the tub? Although I do have bright 'fashion' colored hair and for some reason this water stripped so much more color out of my hair than usual. The view is really nice and nearest to it is a large desk. It's great for doing work with a view but then there was not enough room for two people to sit in a "comfy" chair and look at the window and people watch.

You can not stay anywhere else!!! It was our first time in Boston we were there for St. Anthony's Feast in the North End, and we initially booked a cheaper hotel. By the second night, we made a run for it and found this gem during our escape. The InterContinental Boston was amazing from the start!!! They took us on short notice and accommodated us every step of the way. The staff was exceptional!! I can't stress that enough!! We ordered room service, did valet parking, they had a fabulous breakfast buffet on the weekends, and security was amazing they made us feel so secure. Everything was within walking distance. Do yourself a favor and just stay here. The last thing you need is to worry about your hotel room or parking or security - this place has it all with first-class staff!! I refuse to stay anywhere else when visiting Boston.

The staff was amazing. First impression: valet staff was not only accommodating, but funny and HUMAN, not “robots.” The front desk agents were very helpful, especially when asked about what to do and where to bring my family to eat. The bell men were awesome, one allowed two of my kids a ride on the luggage cart which made their day. (He must have kids) I will be back in two weeks because of this experience.

I had a couple minor issues with the room which were addressed in a way that I felt was fair. I mean it when I say I dealt with a very professional staff. I felt that my experience was their number one focus.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff! Bathroom shower had excellent pressure, tub was easy and quick to fill. Beds were supportive, plenty of pillows with two levels of firmness to make ourselves comfortable. Our room was on the greenway side and we could see the a fire station entrance/exit - huge perk for our 5yo! Some street noises as expected for a city, the hotel interior was quiet. We enjoyed the pool, though the water a bit too cold for our kiddo so we did not stay long. Breakfast buffet was excellent, notably the pastries!

Found a piece of trash (empty water bottle) when I went to look for something that fell behind the dresser, but that’s a pretty small thing. Shower gel/shampoo/conditioner are bolted into the shower so that was tricky to get when washing our kiddo in the tub. No towels by the pool! This was a big one, we had to run back up to our room to get a towel. Also meant that we would have had to ask for more towels that did not have pool water (but we rationed and made it work). Would have been easier to have towels by the pool. One bathroom that doubled as changing room by the pool - this was also a bit limiting as there were many families there on the day we visited. Thank you!

We ordered room service breakfast and it was very good. The location is a very walkable two short blocks from South Station. Right on the waterfront with lots of restaurant choices and historic attractions nearby. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The room quality, shower and separate large bath tub was a cut above most hotels.

Our room on Atlantic Ave 9th floor had some typical Saturday night, city sounds. car horns , sirens etc. Nothing too bad and it quieted down after most of the night spots closed.
