The location was fantastic. Right by Tufts hospital. In Chinatown. Close access to the start of the Freedom Trail as well as restaurants, shopping, and other attractions. The cookie at check-in was a really nice touch. We were able to text someone prior to check in and throughout our stay. That was incredibly helpful.

Parking was expensive. The hotel overall appeared clean. Our floor was not vacuumed well. Complimentary water at check-in would’ve been appreciated.

I booked this hotel because of its location to the Wang theatre. After booking I read some awful reviews. However thank goodness I didn’t change my reservation as this is definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in and I am a world traveller. The staff couldn’t do enough and the facilities in the bedrooms are outstanding. It’s a beautiful relaxed environment. The food is also good. Touriya on reception was the most helpful person i have encountered on my travels but a big high five to all the staff.

Absolutely nothing to dislike in this hotel. Ihave stayed in 5* that haven’t been as good as this hotel.

After having a harrowing experience at Double Tree New York, we arrived here with many apprehensions. Contrary to our expectations, we felt welcomed at this property. Check-in was a breeze, the facilities are good, managing our luggage was easy, and the food was awesome. I forgot a few staff names at check-in, the restaurant, housekeeping, and maintenance, but they were excellent. The service at this property was amazing. The rooms are very comfortable, big, and clean. The bathroom is really spacious. Overall, a value for money property.

I like the fact that the room I was in was a handicapped accessible one. The service was excellent. My wife and I have used the Double Tree due to its location across the street from Tufts Medical Center where I recently had a heart transplant. The amenities are top notch. Check in and check out was smooth and easy. We recommend Double Tree to all of our friends and family.

Handicapped Room had excellent shower with handrails and it was spacious (35m2 claimed). The beds were very comfortable and the room location was nice and close to the elevator.

The room had only two light bulbs in one fixture between the beds - no ceiling lamp - no floor lamp - no desk lamp ; it was dark !! Called the front desk and they denied having any lamps available to brighten our room! Serious discussions ensued ... eventually resulting in a desk lamp and after further requests ... a floor lamp arriving. Finally there was enough light to read a book.

The location is great. It is a walking distance from many restaurants, shops, and parks. The bar downstair is great. My room has a view of children playground which is nice. The warm cookies given at check-in is a nice touch. They are delicious.

The gym is really small for a hotel is size.

Lobby is one of the best I have ever seen with live music and social amenities, worth to spend the evenings even there. There is access to Starbucks. Few steps from the Tufts Medical Center metro station.

They sent an offer for early check in. I accepted and provided credit card details. During check in they said Subject to availability. Ok, there was availability so I am not impacted but not a nice & professional approach. They gave me a ground floor room without asking. Not a common thing. At least they could kindly ask.

From the moment we were greeted at the lower lobby and guided to the lift by the friendly doorman, we felt warmly welcomed at DoubleTree by Hilton, Boston Downtown. Helena at reception made our check-in experience delightful with her warm hospitality. We especially appreciated the delicious cookies and complimentary internet, thanks to our Hilton Honors membership. A great start to our stay!

Everything was great. Room was clean, the bed was comfy and the hotel is closed to Boston downtown. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and will consider the place for our future trip to Boston, US.

The choice of breakfast could have been better but $16/pp is quite reasonable. Happy to pay more for a better quality breakfast.

Location was relevant as this was the business trip. Room was very good, facilities were very nice. Staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Have some more varieties for vegans. Everything was very comfortable and accessible.

As mentioned, have some more variety for vegans for breakfast and lunch. Make dental kit available in the rooms.
