Room is basic but clean and comfortable, and staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. Everything you'd want at a budget hotel. Couldn't hear any noise from the nearby motorway either. There's no breakfast room onsite so you are given a voucher to use at the Good Breakfast in the services which offers a range of cooked / English breakfast options (meat and vegetarian) - I don't like cooked breakfasts but my boyfriend enjoyed it. :)

The hotel is on the Southbound side of the motorway so just have to bear that in mind when planning trips - there's no access across from the other side. Not much the hotel can do about that :)

Good rates comfortable rooms

The motorway M1 jnc 31 to 30 closed overnight without notice - got absolutely lost trying to find our way - the receptionists were not aware either so took nr 2.5 hours trying to find our way to the service road. The diversion sign actually took us to beyond jnc 34 northbound it’s only because we thought something was very wrong that we turned around and stopped nr to closed junction to again ask the way to hotel

Location was great, staff we really friendly and happy to help at all times of the day and night even if it was just for milk or coffee.rooms were clean tidy and comfy.would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Only downfall was the walking over to service station for breakfast but that was only an issue if it was raining really.

Everything about the stay itself was wonderful. We had a clean room with a decent WiFi conection 9allowing me to complete some tasks that needed doing and the staff were beyond helpful.

I returned from the rest of the trip (our stay was the start of a tour of Yorkshire and Derbyshire) to receive a letter from the parking enforcement company used by Days Inn, billing me £100 for illegally parking my car. When we checked in we input our registration number as requested and booked in for a two-night stay. The stress of having to deal with this - (all credit to the staff member to whom I spoke, they cancelled it immediately and I await my letter confirming this) has completely ruined the "vacation high" on the day I returned to work.

Comfortable bed with an excellent shower and hair dryer in the room. Wi-fi was good and easy to access. Parking just outside the hotel - remember to enter your car registration number at reception. 11.00 am check-out, so didn't have to rush in the morning. Hotel was a little way from the services, so was very quiet.

Having to walk to the services to get food.

Was very convenient for our purposes. Initially was just an overnight stay as we were driving north. However, we ended up staying longer in the area as the hotel was close to a number of tourist attractions. Being close to the services was very useful. Staff were friendly and professional.

Nothing we didn’t like. For the price it was higher than our expectations.

Better than expected, and very well kept, the receptionist (Katie) was efficient, courteous and friendly, made you feel very welcome. Room was very comfortable and extremely clean. The hotel sits in its own grounds with a field next to it handy for dog walks.The services which is a short walk, couple of minutes away has kfc & Burger King and there is also a pet friendly pub 5 minutes away that do food.

The hotel is welcoming, Katie on the reception was outstanding. Very friendly, nothing too much, bother. Problems were rectified quickly, and she could not have been more apologetic. Credit to the hotel

The room was clean. BUT, there was just one hand towel in the bathroom. The bin in the bathroom had not been emptied. The bath had to be cleaned before using it. House keeping need talking too.

Very friendly staff. Katie on reception is a credit to the company. Bed very comfortable and had a very good sleep. There was everything there that was needed.

The only thing that let it down was the room was hanging in cobwebs which had spiders resident in them. Unacceptable. Somebody needs to speak to housekeeping.

Staff here are always friendly and welcoming. Location is convenient when motorway travelling. Prices are very reasonable and rooms are good value. Use the Good to Go app for a bargain take away services breakfast when available.

The only thing I don't like is crossing the lorry park to get to the services shops. I didn't spot the marked walk way to begin with which was my error. I noticed the shop at the petrol station on the way back which would have been quicker
