The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the friendly reception team providing all the necessary information about the hotel’s amenities. The room I stayed in was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens were fresh and soft. It was clear that a lot of care had gone into maintaining the cleanliness and quality of the room. The bathroom was also spotless, and the shower had great water pressure, making for a refreshing start to the day. Overall, my stay at the Best Western Hotel exceeded my expectations. The combination of exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and a great location makes it an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again on my next visit

Lovely, good-sized bedroom with a very comfortable bed and pillows - also had air con if required (but could just open the window as it was quiet outside). Clean and nicely decorated bathroom. Extremely helpful and friendly staff at reception. Didn't have the time to use any of the facilities or walk around the hotel, but the grounds looked lovely and it was very quiet despite being close to the motorway. Had very tasty dinner (room service) and the continental breakfast was also very good - the cooked breakfast was nice, although not as impressive. Plenty of parking.

Cooked breakfast nicely cooked plenty of choice, reception staff very helpful at check in, other meals very good too including the wedding breakfast which was delicious, event staff really helpful well organised and most courteous setting of this hotel gorgeous, grounds lovely.

Proper coffee please at breakfast- air con in the bedroom was too noisy to use - bedroom was noisy with event music on Saturday night - pillow protectors were dirty - hairs in bath tub on arrival - drinks were extortionate in price at the bar £11.50 for a large glass of white wine, £5 for a can of Guinness

The location was perfect for me - I was going to a show and visiting friends. The breakfast was lovely and hot. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I slept really well.

The room was huge (a family room with 2 singles plus the huge double) but the radiator couldn’t cope so it felt cold to me. Luckily there was a spare duvet which I used. Also, the bathroom fan and the heated towel rail didn’t work (or I couldn’t get them to work) - made the bathroom very cold and left the floor wet and mirror steamed up until I left - 4 hours after the shower.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The room was larger than expected, very clean.. the bedding smelt so fresh, and I never usually notice such things in hotels! All the staff we encountered were so friendly and professional. The restaurant food was beautiful. We both loved the toffee apple bread and butter pudding. Good hearty breakfast too. Couldn’t fault this hotel. Beautiful stay. Fab sleep and very close to family, so this will always be our go to hotel in the future.

Our room was clean and bed comfy. Even though it was freezing outside our room was lovely and warm which was appreciated. We were booked as bed and breakfast so can’t comment on other meals as we ate out but quality of food at breakfast was good and there was plenty of choice. All staff were pleasant and friendly. After a very icy night the car park was like a skating rink. This was quickly and efficiently gritted to ensure safety.

We attended an evening reception after a wedding which was clearly well organised for the bride and groom and guests. Our room was very smart, clean and comfortable. There was a good choice of classic breakfasts with attentive staff. Overall, a very good single night's stop and it seemed a lovely hotel to stay longer and explore the area.

Rather a long walk through the building from the entrance to our room, although not an issue for us. There was nothing really to dislike about the whole stay.

The room was exceptionally clean. Bed comfortable extra pillows were available. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection. Evening meal with my family outstanding as was my own evening meal the following evening. The waiter and chef learned it was my birthday and the prepared me a small chocolate brownie, Chocolate covered Strawberry and a truffle served on a plate and inscribed with "happy Birthday". Made my day. Thanks team you are outstanding.

The building and the grounds are beautiful. All staff (front desk, restaurant, cleaners) very helpful, nice and accommodating. Food is very good. Plenty of parking. Located in quiet, picturesque village near the motorway, so easy to visit places. We will definitely be booking again when we go back to the area.

Nothing to complain about. The place is so nice it's also used for weddings and other events. When we arrived, there were lots of people arriving for a graduation party. It was a shock at first but they used separate function areas so we did not get any noise. There is a particular room where the WiFi doesn't work so well. We could have moved but my son preferred to stay there with the lovely view and used his tablet in a beautiful upstairs common area.

The room was very comfortable n warm with a lovely view of some beautiful trees. I took advantage of the en-suite bath, just what I needed to relax n unwind after a stressful journey. The food is delicious. A very generous portion of fish n chips with all the trimmings. It was great to get a vegetarian breakfast option, which was delicious n very filling. I arrived very late for a wedding which was cancelled n postponed. However, the staff made my stay very pleasant n enjoyable.
