The rooms were beautiful

You need to be transparent about the deposit. It is completely unacceptable to charge a £200 deposit - which you take from our bank accounts - at check in

The room was very good with ample light and furnished well. We stayed 2 nights in each separate type of room. The classic room was bit congested for 2 person. Second night we stayed in Grand room which was spacious. In the grand room the coffee machine was nor working. in each room they MUST have manual of how to operate various kitchen equipements. Overall good.

One of the staffs at the reception on the first day who checked in was not very welcoming. The same person on the second day, I went downstairs to get some breakfast things from the shop and at the same time I asked the lady at the reception for extra coffee so she called the room maid and gave her the job. Then she told me "you can leave now" twice and her face was sour. What she could have told me instead " the coffee will be delivered to your room".

Very helpful staff, whole place is newly renovated. I liked the studio room, a reasonable size with bed behind a small divider wall. Kitchenette was decently equipped, good shower. Quite close to city centre and a few nice restaurants / coffee shops.

The breakfast items on offer from the downstairs shop were poor. Bed not the most comfortable, a bit too firm for me and could do with a slightly larger table that could double as a desk space.

A Fantastic Stay at the New Aparthotel in Birmingham! I recently had the pleasure of staying at the newly opened Aparthotel in Birmingham, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for a fantastic stay. The location of the Aparthotel is simply unbeatable. Situated in the heart of Birmingham, it offers easy access to the city's vibrant cultural scene, close to the shops, trains and easy to find. The attention to detail in the design and decor of the Aparthotel is fantastic, offering contemporary and stylish furnishings create a modern yet cosy ambiance that instantly makes you feel at home. The spacious apartments are tastefully decorated, with every amenity thoughtfully provided for a comfortable stay. The staff members are professional, friendly and attentive. I felt truly valued. The apartments themselves are functional, clean and well-maintained with fully equipped kitchens with washing machine and dishwashers, comfortable beds, and modern bathrooms.

I cannot fault it! There was nothing that I didn't like or think that I was able to improve. The location was fantastic and all amenities were more than expected! It is a welcome asset to the lone traveller market!

Loved how you had everything you needed in a good amount of space. Great attention to detail. The shower was powerful and was easy to use. I had a kettle in my room which was perfect for me as a non coffee drinker, but some rooms do have a coffee machine included too! If you’re a coffee drinker, ensure you get one of those rooms for some fancier coffees. TV was great in the room, had your freeview channels, and lots of apps for you to log into (Netflix, Apple TV, Chromecast, Disney+). Everything was clean and the staff couldn’t do enough for you.

Some colleagues I travelled with were able to get a free breakfast when just announcing their room number in the on-site co-op. This was not explained to me at check in and I learnt this the next morning after I had made some purchases. This should be detailed to all guests. Additionally, the hotels WhatsApp chatbot told me the hotel does not provide towels so I bought one of my own, but the hotel does provide two towels, two hand towels and a bathroom mat for the shower! Maybe have a look into the chatbot answers! Other than that, it was a very fantastic stay!

On arrival and checking in, member of staff Alessio was extremely helpful in providing us the necessary information for our stay. Alessio was welcoming, polite and very accommodating. We received an upgrade which was a very much appreciated surprise. The apartment was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. There is a shop on site which is really convenient.

One of the lifts in the building was not working, which wasn't a major issue, but it took a while to get downstairs with luggage. This is not ideal when you are on one of the higher floors

The accommodation was brilliant: clean, spacious, with a good city view. The bathrooms were stocked with high-quality, luxurious cosmetics. The kitchen was well-supplied with all the necessary appliances. The mattresses were cosy and comfortable. The hotel was peaceful and quiet, with convenient parking next to the building. Despite the small incident, the staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. Overall, it was an excellent experience that I would highly recommend.

Although I rated all questions concerning the staff as excellent, a minor issue occurred. We arrived at the desk eight minutes early, and our receptionist was rather dissatisfied, insisting we wait until exactly 3 pm to check in. She conveyed this with an attitude similar to David Walliams's "computer says no" character. Twenty minutes later, when I returned to the desk, she informed me with the same look that our room was still not ready (apparently!) and we needed to wait until it was cleaned! After an additional 20 minutes of waiting and a complaint to the manager, I finally received my keys, apologies, and a waiver of the pet fee, which I found satisfactory but easily avoidable.

very clean and tidy everywhere in the hotel, most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was exactly like the pictures . Had a lovely pleasant stay. We had a fault in our room where the kitchen tap unscrewed and water flew everywhere, my mum went down to reception and spoke to Emma who handled the situation amazingly ,apologised and 5 mins later came up to our room to check if everything was okay , she was absolutely lovely told us to stay as long as we needed in our room to sort ourselves out even though it was right before our check out

the lady at reception said aloud my room number , this is a big no no for safety reasons , I also heard other staff say it too when other people were checking in. It is a small thing however if I was travelling alone and this happened I would have asked to change rooms. As I wouldn’t feel comfortable with the chance of someone overhearing. It is common practice in hotel industry to not disclose room numbers out loud the £200 did make me slightly uncomfortable especially when the room had small faults such as marks on the wall and dents , I was worried I would be charged for those and not get my deposit back

It was a very comfortable room and great to have so much space and the facilities!

The only thing that I didn't like was that I received a text message the day before to say that there was a £200 refundable deposit to pay when I arrived. I received it passed the time that I could cancel the reservation and book elsewhere so didn't have a choice. I did mention to the reception that wasn't great as I was travelling for work. I was told the reason they had to do it was because of people having parties. What happens if someone doesn't have £200 available to pay? I think there must be a better way to do that, a customer could be very embarrassed if they didn't have the funds to pay.

The staff was helpful and friendly. We checked in the day of the Microsoft crash and there were some other guests being very rude to the staff about it, but they handled it very professionally. Alessio checked us in and he was great. Really liked the room setup with the all the apartment amenities.

The rooms weren’t serviced so we had to ask for more things like toilet paper. Then each time we asked, they only brought one roll, so we had to ask every day. There was also no phone in the room to call the desk, so it took us a while to figure out we could WhatsApp them. Maybe let guests know at check in how you can contact the hotel staff if you need something. The breakfast options weren’t the best. Tons of bread and an apple/orange was the only healthy option.
