The staff were great, the welcome drinks is a fab idea. The room was absolutely fantastic, the night views were staggering.

The drop off is not exactly great and the car park is a little to far away.

Arriving in the dark we got ourselves a little turned around so it took us longer to reach the hotel. We were greeted by a very friendly female member of staff, and made to feel very welcome. We were up on the 16th floor, loved that the lift only works for you once you scan you room card, great security! Our suite was as spacious as expected, the bed was so comfortable and warm I could have brought it home! Room was spotlessly clean, plenty of towels provided too. Also had slippers & bathrobes plus plenty of little touches like toiletries, a safe, trouser press, coffee machine, etc... Room service was great, food had chilled off somewhat but it was still delicious! I misunderstood the tip request at first but gave a tip on the paperwork once I realised. Road noise was noticeable even 16 floors up, but not enough to interrupt our sleep. Photos of our view attached. Breakfast was great! Food, though kept under heat lamps in covered pots soon chilled off but enjoyed it nonetheless. Good variety of continental, hot & cold plus drinks provided. Couldn't fault any of the staff, all lovely people!

The reception area was noisy due to people in the bar opposite. The heating didn't work in the bedroom, the sitting area was fine though. The phone didn't work to ring for room service so I went down to reception to order, the staff were very apologetic for the inconvenience. One or two areas could have done with some tlc loose toilet roll holder in the main bedroom ensuite toilet, a cracked mirror by the handle on the door to the drinks cupboard.

Great price, close to the station and the centre of Birmingham. I shared a twin room with a friend and it was very satisfactory - Comfortable bed, clean, spacious, simple decor and didn’t look too tired like some hotels. The staff were friendly and there was a decent breakfast included in our price. Overall a very good experience and I would recommend this hotel.

Our air conditioning didn’t work and the room was very warm. No windows to open so felt very stuffy. An engineer came and I got the impression this was already a known problem however he offered us a fan which sufficed as we were only there for 1 night. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work which meant the bathroom was very steamed up and damp after showering. No drinking water or milk for the tea/coffee facilities in the room. Had to call and request it however this is a minor point and was delivered to us.

My room was spacious, comfortable with 2 chairs and was clean. My partners room was also spacious, comfortable and clean. The location was perfect having attended The Hippodrome to see a show. The lifts were plentiful and fast and we did not have to wait long for one to arrive. Staff were polite and helpful.

My partners room had only one chair even though there was plenty of space for a second chair. When I went to the room I had to sit on the bed. (Room 1404). I appreciate the hotel caters for a large number of people but when I had the cooked breakfast I found the sausage and bacon dry and overcooked and quite tough probably due to the length of time it had been under the cloche. 2 drinks consisting of double Malibu & coke and a double Vodka & coke came to £26.40. I expect to pay higher prices in a hotel in the centre of Birmingham but I thought this was on the high side.

Amazimg.check in staff. We got a complimentary upgrade as I said previously it was my daughter's 13th birthday and we had travelled down to attend her dream of going to the Horseof the Year show at the NEC. They had written a card for her and some little choccies, the view was brilliant, room spacious, quiet, super clean, and just the perfect base for our mini adventure. My daughter is afraid of elevators so she decided to be brave and she said they are so speedy and quiet...it put her mind at rest. The room was cleaned and set out for our return from our event. We had a city view in our room which was nice to look out at night, the room was comfortable and clean, spacious, quite. We were hot when we got there and no windows so staff brought us a a fan, the staff were lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. Breakfast choices were fabulous and food quality ingredients. The location was great for the bullring, China town and Alexandra theatre, each being only a few minutes walk. The only downside was we witnessed a street robbery about 10 mins walk away so I would recommend caution in the area and is in no way a reflection in the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay

Extremely comfortable bed, lovely size as my husband is a body builder so rather large bloke but plenty of room to stretch out for comfort. Staff really helpful and polite and smiley Gave us great directions and recommendations

Not the hotels fault, but we came at Pride weekend so the roads were closed we got stuck driving in the city for an hour and a half unable to park our car we had to travel outside the city to syrechfotd to a friend leave the car and catch a train in. So parking was the problem. Again not really Radisons fault, it was ours not knowing the Pride event was on. To be honest we would have chosen a different weekend to visit

The location is superb, only a 2 minute walk from New Street station and and right the heart of the city. Our room was located on the 12th floor with a birds eye view of the circus and a great view of the southern end of the city. The room was very spacious and clean. The stuff at the reception was exceptional and we had no issues checking in and out. I can't comment on the rest of the facilities as we did not use them.

The only issue I had, which admittedly is rather minor, is the fact that the provided toiletries where lacking in quantity, considering they were meant for two people.

I liked having a bathtub and the breakfast option. Even if I felt the breakfast was very blend selection it was what was expected. So I knew what I was paying for. Oh and the pillows were good ones plus the room was very quiet when we turned off the air condition over the night. I will use this hotel again while in Birmingham. Good position.

The NCP parking was bit scary over the night time, but we were not bothered to use the recommended parking because it was too far away for us to walk with broken knees. I would not walk there alone and I think we shared a elevator ride with a drug dealer. He was asking us to press the button for him and we did not oblige to it. No card, no floor. I guess this is one of the problems hotels have to deal with on regular basis. And the breakfast service in the morning could do with bit more effort in finer selection of food.

Very nice location, just 5 minutes of walk away from Gay Village and Chinatown. Cleanliness is 10/10. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Someone was smoking at night in a neighbouring room or somewhere on the same floor. Couldn’t be bothered to notify the reception about it late night, though. Did let the reception aware at the check out. Nothing to do with the hotel itself, just a human factor, I suppose. Noise level was not the best at night as well, especially when want to have a rest after work and train travel to Birmingham. But again not much to do with the hotel, just Friday night, I guess.
