We visited this hotel weekend of the 7th December room 21. What I liked was the ambience of this hotel ,it was beautiful , from the moment you walked into the hall the beautiful staircase was right in front of you. This hotel is beautiful, it was better than we expected. The room was really nice, We wished we could have stayed one more night to enjoy the lounge areas but we had to get back to London. All the staff were really nice and friendly. Breakfast was fresh and they proved fresh orange juice. They have an outdoor lounge area, which be nice to sit out in the summer. Well worth the money.

This isn’t a complaint, but I wish someone had said something about the parking at the back of the building. As the car park at the front was full. Also could I recommend your pillows could be a bit harder, as some people do have neck issues. Or have a choose of pillows on your booking🙏

I've stayed in a lot of hotels, and the standard of cleanliness here was top-notch. The staff are all very engaged, highly responsive, and very helpful. The beauty of a smaller hotel. I needed an extra layer of padding for the baby's cot, and that was provided with a smile, and the gentleman helped me get it prepared at 9pm at night!. We asked for a change in pillows and they were provided immediately. The aesthetics of this hotel were lovely, the bed was gorgeous, the room spacious and spotless, local to Disbury village, it's a gem. You could feel the pride the staff have for the establishment. We felt very well cared for, so thank you to the team. Constructive feedback is as follows: - Having the waiting staff take an interest in the menu provided in order to answer questions at breakfast or dinner. At breakfast, I asked what the vegan sausage was, i.e., Pea protein or vegetables, and the staff didn't know. The chef had discarded the packaging and didn't know either. The next day, a lady asked what ingredients were in one of the smoothies, and again, the staff member did not know. I'd say the lack of knowledge about the menu did knock a point off the 10 I would have given. However, this can easily be improved on. Many thanks for a fabulous stay.

This whole place is like a fairy story ! I'm already looking forward to staying here again. My husband and I are both artists and the decor is both luxurious and bohemian. It's ever so quirky but in an exceptional and exquisite way. The whole experience was like being in a wonderful dream. The breakfast is probably the best I have EVER had in an hotel and the staff are AMAZING 😍❤️❤️. They are so incredibly helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. They are genuinely warm and friendly with real smiles and they go above and beyond. This hotel is only half an hour away from my home yet it felt like I was in some magical place. I feel truly blessed to have stayed here it has genuinely enriched my life !

The choice of vegetarian bar snacks was VERY limited I was really quite surprised about this in this day and age however the WONDERFUL vegetarian breakfast the next day more than made up for it.

Beautiful house with comfy beds, big rooms and delicious breakfast. Conveniently located 8 minutes walk from the train station and about 15minutes walk from the tram. All which goes to Manchester City Center. using train, one is in the city center in 21 minutes including the walking part. We were going to Old Trafford for a game so it was a perfect to make is our base. We loved the atmosphere at the house and we played a few games like Chess, they have a few others. You got to go to experience it yourself. It is worth every penny. If you are planning Manchester trip, it is worth to consider it as your base. There is also park not sure if I can call it that but basically where people walk along river Mersey and not far from the House. We went there for a walk and it was really lovely. Picture this, the English countryside that you see in the TV, that's exactly it.

Could have been nice to have a restaurant on site for such a nice place

Very comfortable room with a great bed. The shower and bath were also very good. Then whole place was spotless.

The shared spaces downstairs were a little underwhelming. I did not think the lounge was particularly cosy or inviting to sit in. Despite being full there lacked a vibe in the property. The bar area was empty every time I walked past.

The hotel is great, with great style and super clean. I like the traditional design a lot. There is a new area to walk around with very traditional cottages, with Christmas decorations all was very beautiful. I have made a 10 minute walk to the main street where there are many shops and restaurants. Also the hotel is not far from airport and for me it was very convenient as I have an early morning flight back.

Everything was perfect

We loved our stay here and will definitely be back when visiting family in the area. It's a brilliant location, walking distance to the village but in a leafy quiet spot. Even though it's close to the main road, we didn't really hear much noise and slept well. The in house bar and lounge area are lovely and after a long drive, it was great to be able to get something to eat and just relax. The in room bath and facilities were all fabulous. Friendly helpful staff.

That we didn't stay longer :-)

All of it was amazing breakfast was delicious and the price I paid was worth it as you got options of many different selection, including continental choice then teas, coffees ect. my room what can I say was incredible so big and spacious and super relaxation feeling. As soon as I came in the room had classic fm playing to bring in the relaxation feeling and the bed was massive and comfy, pillows your head could sink into I could go on forever. Finally the staff are just all around amazing and attentive to your needs. Extremely polite and amazing manners and dressed very elegantly also very informative when asked questions. Could not fault them will defiantly be returning again and highly recommending like I have already in person and also on my social pages.

There wasn't really much I can say tbf I didn't like other than for me anyway just my personal opinion they could potentially do with bit more better informative signs on the walls to guide you to your room more easier as I got a slight bit lost attempting to find my room despite the lovely young lady giving me directions just needed more observing signs or symbols but other than that no faults at all.

The room was lovely with a lovely bathroom

Breakfast was poor. The selection was limited, we did not receive the toast we ordered and we requested the vegetarian sausages which were served completely cold (as though they had not even been fully defrosted never mind cooked). There was also no decaf tea or coffee at breakfast or the option to order a latte or cappuccino at extra cost. We complained at check out about not receiving toast and the cold sausages and we were offered one breakfast for free, however £18 for one breakfast with the issues mentioned above was still extremely overpriced.

Beautiful and comfortable hotel and rooms, well looked after by staff. Convenient small bar and lounge. Food in the evening was good. Intimate and relaxed feel overall. Full breakfast includes a variety of fruit, yoghurt and cereals and a well-cooked English breakfast. Would definitely like to return if in the area again. It was ideal for us, a family group of nine, to get together before a family event. Staff were very helpful, courteous and professional.

The room was too hot overnight but the staff were going to deal with that.
