I have used this hotel before and the location to Hazel Grove and the Town centre is excellent. The rooms are clean and quiet, breakfast is good and the beer at the bar is very good. The staff members are very helpful and friendly. There is plenty of parking which is a big bonus.

I think it depends on the room you get, the WiFi was terrible in the bedroom, this wasn't the case on my previous stay. The beds are firmer than what I am use to so the first night sleep is a bit odd, I got use to it after the first night. I would have liked for there to be a restaurant facility for evening meals.

The location was perfect for our trip & ideal for the venue we were attending. Good amount of parking.

Breakfast was good on the Saturday but terrible on the Sunday, We arrived for breakfast on Sunday at 08:05, paid £12.50 for breakfast only to find no cooked meat available for the full English breakfast we had paid for! We had to leave at 08:30 to get to our venue and at 08:30 there was still no sign of any cooked meat for our breakfast. At least 4 of our party of 8 ended up paying for the full breakfast and ended up with only eggs, beans, tomatoes and toast! The staff on duty kept telling us it would only be a few minutes delay but 25 minutes later we had not choice but to leave.

Facilities were great. Lovely comfy bed and super pressure in the shower. Complimentary toiletries was a nice touch

Everything was great apart from booking in. There was no pleasant greeting and had to wait quite some time for a miserable member of staff to man reception . The woman ( I was told had worked there for quite some time) could not be bothered and greeted us with “NAME?” Not at all what you need front of house after a long journey. On departure there was a lovely young lady who was very pleasant and apologised for our miserable check in. Shame she didn’t do check in. Would have given 10 out of 10 otherwise.

Staff very friendly , beds were superb, Breakfast Buffet was excellent, plenty of choice , Bar open to 12.30am , free parking was a huge bonus ! Location was ideal, albeit set off a main road , sleeping in their comfy beds was no bother, very handy for travelling around by car or park the car & take the bus 192 outside petrol station will take you to Mersey Square , main shopping area for Stockport. Good selection of shops/ places to eat. If you fancy a wash & blow dry , I recommend Majestic hair salon , go passed McDonalds , turn right , it is on the right next to Barbers, ring to make a booking on 07837551112 You can also take 192 to Manchester Piccadilly about 30mins . 199 bus from Bus stop outside hotel we take you to Buxton , where you can see where Buxton bottled water comes from. Last but not least Room No 1 was brilliant just at the top of the stairs. Enjoy your stay we did !

The inn looks like it's out of an agatha Christie novel which is amazing and very authentic, the music night was so lively, also the room is cozy and clean with a very comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The room was so clean and smelled so good when i checked in. Stockport is a great place to walk around as a tourist because it is very old with amazing buildings like you're walking in a medieval town and although it is not close to city centre that was okay for me as a i loved a bus ride to see tge city i mean I'm not here just to shop.

There was no lift, also the houskeeping don't go over things thoroughly as they asked what i need i said the bins and soap and they emptied the bins and left me new bags to put in the bin myself also since i forgot to say toilet paper and it was indeed over she still didn't put new rolls. Also the tv was not working but a sweet lady from reception came up and tried to help or else i would have had to wait till the morning as it was 5 and there is no maintenance available which shouldn't be the case in a hotel or inn. Luckily the tv worked eventually. The location is a bit remote for people who prefer the city centre and there are no close grocery stores at least 15 or 20 min walk.

Very friendly check-in with young lady who looked after us throughout our stay. Dog friendly, relaxed atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door. Exceptionally clean, bright, spacious room with comfy bed & plug in fan. Plenty of free parking spaces. We stay here regularly when visiting family and it is within walking distance of eating & drinking places. There is a regular bus service on the doorstep into Stockport, Manchester city centre & also the Peak District/Derbyshire in the opposite direction. A good base for visiting & exploring.

This was the second time first time last year we stayed for a funeral and we were not so happy with the room This time I requested a low floor room we were in room 39 which was a much better than our previous out dated room. I would just like to say how sincere Sarah was when she realised our food was not that hot.Last time we came we had got the breakfast heated up in the microwave..The gain Marie's used don't always keep the food at a consistent temperature and then putting it on cold plates makes it worse We can't be the only people that don't like eating cold cooked breakfast Sarah even warmed our plates for us on our last morning(yesterday) She is a credit to your staff. We would not think twice the next time we are travelling up north to see relations.I Thank you

It's not a dislike but the hot water was extremely hot enough to burn so maybe turning it down just thinking of children( Being a grandparent)

I stayed in two different rooms and they were both very clean and comfortable. I had my pet with me who also felt very comfortable the entire stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Transport connections were very good and I was able to commute to work easily everyday. The neighbourhood is safe and in front of the hotel is a petrol station with an Esso that opens till late and has everything one needs. There is also a Sainsburys’s superstore 5 mins away. A very convenient place, highly recommend!

Greeted by friendly staff (with a good sense of humour), which I like. Booking in was simple and straightforward. Great buffet breakfast, asked about a vegetarian option, and presented 10 mins later with some veggie sausages by more friendly and happy staff.

Arrived on a busy function night. My room may have been above the function room as felt I was in there. It all finished at midnight but the guests did not understand the concept of going to their rooms quietly over the following hour. This in NOT the fault of the hotel, just me having a moan about selfish guests.

Price., Cleanliness of room. Copious amounts of hot water. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Ample parking.

The one member of staff chaperoning breakfast service was run ragged. We waited 15 mins before being invited to find a table whilst she topped up hot food from the kitchen Meanwhile, several members of a party of guests from a wedding reception held the previous evening just 'did their own thing' ignored our 'queue' and helped themselves without being signed in. Excellent otherwise and would stay again if needed accommodation in the vicinity of Stockport.
