The place is clean and comfortable. The bedsheets used are of good quality. We had a good night sleep. The fact that the carpark lot is just next to the apartment makes it very easy for self-driving travellers like us to offload our luggage. The counter staff, Sapphire, was very helpful when we checked in. And we directed to drive to a little-known place for stargazing and watch the southern lights!

The only minus point about the property is that it outside and not within walking distance to the city centre. There is also no eatery nearby and we had to drive into the town for food. It is not suitable for travellers without a car.

The apartment had everything I needed for a comfortable stay—spacious rooms, cozy furniture, and modern amenities. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the bathroom was spotless. The location was also fantastic—quiet, yet conveniently close to shops and restaurants. The host was very responsive and provided clear instructions for check-in, which made the whole process smooth and hassle-free. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and well-located home for their stay. Looking forward to staying here again in the future!

My partner and I arrived late in the evening and the check in process was still so smooth. The beds were very comfortable (it has the option of being heated too), the couch and the TV were appreciated, and the heating was exceptional especially in the cold weather. We had a little kitchenette with a microwave and pyrex bowls for microwaving that we didn't really compromise on our meals. Location wise, it's a really good distance from all local amenities and our host gave us so much information regarding where to go around the area. Definitely staying here again when we come back!

The property was extremely comfortable and had everything that was needed. The water pressure was good and was hot and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were lovely. Ample parking. The location was great with 2 min walk to town or to the lake. The apartment was spacious and liked the balcony. The apartment was warm and easy to control temperature which was important in winter. Nothing major except the shower did make the toilet floor wet so a mop would have been helpful. Just a personal preference I would have preferred better quality cutlery but having everything provided and a kitchenette was excellent and would definitely stay again.

The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We attended for a marathon event in the town and I think the property was full of people all competing in the same event which put a lot of pressure on the hot water for showers after it finished! The staff were so apologetic for this and went out of their way to show this. I was very impressed with how it was handled.

The shower was like a wet room in the bathroom which meant the water flooded the bathroom floor. That is my only negative comment!

We stayed at Apartment no. 1. It looked like recently refurbished and provided excellent value. Its not your typical motel room that one expects, and so it exceeded our expectations very much.

Really comfortable little studio with everything we needed. Microwave and crockery were very useful, as were the laundry facilities - 2 dollars for washing and 2 dollars for the dryer, plus an outdoor drying rack too. Parking right outside the apartment was also ideal, and we were within walking distance of town. We went on a day trip to Milford Sound with Trips & Tramps, who picked us up right outside the motel.

Large, very well appointed, clean apartment. Excellent laundry facilities. Off street parking. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.

None too friendly host. Bathroom floor flooded when using shower. The notes in the Guest Information could have been written in a more positive/friendly way. We feel they could reword a few statements re not supplying milk, not washing up etc in a gentler manner so that one does not feel resentful. Signed allocated parking spaces would be appreciated - others parked in ours all the time.

Good motel with nice beds. Very central located. A few meters from the lake. All restaurants at walking distance.

No comment but maybe an little improvement: Kitchen is well equiped. But after booking we could't figger out which room we had (booking named the room different) and if we had a kitchen or only watercooker. Maybe a better description of what is inside the kithen, because it is very good. You could cook if you like! There are pots and pans, double electric stoof, watercooker, plates, cups and glases !! Very good.

Although quite dated, it was very clean. Had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Bed /mattress was firm enough for my bad back (and It was only for one night). Unfortunately the tv wasn’t a smart tv so I couldn’t binge on Netflix but it was a very affordable place so couldn’t expect the trimmings… 🙂. The staff on both days were fantastic… helpful and welcoming. The location better than more expensive places were charging.

All was good for the price.
