The hotel is in an excellent location, right near a beautiful beach and really good restaurants within a few minutes walk. What really makes the hotel so amazing are the owners and the staff. So welcoming and friendly! The rooms are lovely, well appointed, peaceful and immaculately clean. Manos who runs the pool bar was super friendly and makes great food too! We have travelled extensively and this is one of our favourite hotels in the world. A great base for exploring the beautiful area, or simply just chilling by the pool . Highly recommended!

this family run hotel is excellent vlaue . for a 2 star hotel its way above expectation- its spotlessly clean, a very pleasant reception area, bedroom small but perfectly adequate and only recently renovated and very nice - good shower in bathroom- plenty of storage and little balcony- lovely pool area and garden and outside bar, and really good home made breakfast and freshly squeezed orange juice every morning. family take great pride in their hotel and are very hard working-and its literally across the road from maria beach- nice small quiet beach in Kisammos- also walking distance of everything in the little town- can only recommend

We highly recommend Hotel Peli! It’s a wonderful family-run hotel. The rooms are spotless, the small terraces are charming, and they are surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden. The hotel also has a large pool. It’s in a perfect location to reach some of Crete’s most beautiful beaches, and the nearest beach is just a few meters away, so from your terrace, you can hear the relaxing sound of the sea. Peli and her staff are exceptional! The organization and hospitality are impeccable. The buffet breakfast is scrumptious, the best we've ever experienced at a hotel. The quality of the products is top-notch, and almost everything is homemade by the owner's mother—from the jams to the sweets and savory options. It will definitely be our choice for a future trip to Kissamos!

It’s also a great base for reaching iconic places like Balos or Falassarna. The family running the hotel is incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. I can't believe we got so lucky. My only regret is not having booked more nights. We will definitely be back.

An excellent hotel with a wonderful staff, everything is very clean with a super pleasant smell, the pool is clean, the breakfast that is made there is super tasty and different from day to day, I will definitely stay there again 🥰

The room was nice, cozy, possibly recently renewed, with a nice balcony; the bathroom was ok. The presence of mosquito net on the window was a pleasant surprise (and really necessary). The pool was very nice. Peli was the perfect host, and all the staff was kind. We particularly enjoyed breakfast: a variety of savory and sweet food, most home-made, all very good (the honey was awesome on the yogurt or on the fresh cheese). Excellent value for money.

We were surprised it only has 2 stars! Service was excellent, location perfect, not too busy with direct access to the beach and nearby the most delicious Taverna. Rooms big enough and well equipped. Delicious breakfast with homemade jams, fresh orange juice, good coffee and variety of local bites. Thank you Peli for the wonderful stay, we’ll be back for sure!

The bathroom tiles did not have the most fortunate pattern 😂. But that doesn’t even matter in the bigger picture

There simply is nothing that anyone couldn't like about the place; we were greeted by a beaming receptionist (Peli herself), who was so lovely that it felt like we had known her for aaaages (and we are not even particularly chatty). Peli then proceeded to give us all sorts of great tips and recommendations about what to do and what not to do (fully tailored for the length of time that we were staying). Trivial things that you later are thankful for. We hadn't initially opted for breakfast, but the homemade stuff on offer made us change our mind, and breakfast in the garden just was brilliant (complemented by tasty fresh orange juice, thanks to Peli's "small" brother). Honestly, words don't do this little place justice, you simply should try it out... Even if you have to go to Kissamos just to be at the hotel 🥰

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. AC mini fridge and balcony were all in order as they are crucial for a stay on the island for the heatwave we had while there. Good location for day trips to Elafonisi and Falasarna beach.

Limited parking sports at the hotel but it was not too hard to ifnd space on the street nearby. Also it didn’t seem like the bathroom had ventilation so one has to leave the bathroom door open for that.
