Excellent value for money for this small luxurious hotel in a superb location right beside London Bridge! Ease of access from the underground direct from Heathrow airport. We ate in the restaurant on the Friday evening. Food although pricey was superb, however the superbness outweighed the value! It was TOO expensive. 350GBP for 4 people with 6 Cobra and 2 small glasses of wine. Overpriced even by London standards. Bedrooms were REALLY comfortable and very spacious also SPOTLESS!

Liked everything - would stay again! Would not eat in the restaurant again. Plenty of selection on the doorstep though from pub grub to the Ivy. Arrived home 1230am into Sunday morning. Door locked took a good 15plus minutes to get the door answered.

Breakfast wasn’t great . A little pared down ? Not much choice . Streaky bacon was terrible ! Really fatty and frankly inedible . Room was very warm . Yes in the room was fragranced even though it was supposed to be breakfast tea . Totally different to the tea at breakfast . We also had to ask for more toiletries and face flanked since they weren’t replenished despite staying 3 nights. However , all these were very quickly resolved once we asked . We loved the toilet !!!!! Heated seat and bidet ! We also loved the headmasters room . Great for drinks with family

As stated above . Breakfast buffet not great . Service excellent . Always check that toiletries are well stocked

The location was perfect for me, the rooms and the public areas were well kept and clean, the staff were helpful and polite, I didn't use the gym, the restaurant or the bar. The building is delightful and retains many architectural features. The bed was very comfortable.

The first room I was allocated was on the third floor, there was a loud throbbing noise throughout the area, presumably from an AC unit? I could not stay here! The staff moved me to a room on the second floor which appeared to be modified for a disabled person, which is fine but the washbasin in the bathroom was tiny, barely big enough to rinse your hands, also there was no hot water to the basin, although the shower was fine.and this room was quieter.

My stay was excellent. The hotel common areas like restuarant and bar are wonderful and the service excellent. I stayed in a Classroom level room for 4 nights and it was very comfortable. Any the facilities in the room as free of charge and it has everything you need. I also had need to use their laundry and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend and will stay again. Also the location was very good, very close to London Bridge Station, Southwark, Borough etc.

My only feedback would be on the cold breakfast offering which i found limited. The cooked options of English or Indian choices were excellent.

First of all: the service, the staff. I felt most welcome , had a pleasant chat here and there. Extremely polite and attentive staff, very kind. The building itself has a long history and is extremely beautiful. The highlight is the breathtaking restaurant with its vibrant colours. Rooms are great, bathroom has a heated toilet seat and the most aesthetic shower. The bed is perfect, I slept like a baby.

There was a tiny area that the curtains couldn’t cover and due to the light from the outside it irritated me slightly (I prefer total blackout for my sleep), but it’s nothing too severe. Also the office building from across the window got me feeling slightly watched. Kept my curtains closed. Fire alarm is tested 11.30am every Monday, apparently. A heads up from the reception would have been nice, it’s only written on the emergency plan at the room door (which I obviously did not read beforehand). That’s just minor things that shouldn’t stop you from having a great hotel experience :)

beautiful building, decoration, ambiance. Really convenient. Quirky room with sloping roof - and very modern with electronic tools.

The bed is too short and too small for tall people like us. We could/should have asked to be moved - but we didn't. The bed was comfortable as a mattress, but the size was just too cramped for us. Also - there was no bedside light at one side of the bed because of the sloping roof - but that isn't a good enough reason not to provide a light. This was raised with the staff team but they were unable to resolve it.

It was exceptionally well presented and maintained, with our room being of good size, fantastically decorated, and with lots of little touches making it feel luxurious and high quality. We loved it. The staff were lovely, helpful, and an asset to the organisation.

There was nothing to dislike, so any feedback here is just minor nitpicking and wouldn’t affect the experience of staying here. The only minor (inconsequential) issue was that finding the main entrance to the hotel (which felt like a side entrance) and then into the reception (which was in an adjacent room as you walk in) was not as straight forward as expected.

Location was amazing. The size and airiness of the room was great. The bar staff was very helpful and the outside seating area is ideal for drinks.

We were in room 7. I think the bathroom was designed for disabled guests. There was no shower cubical but shower curtains on two sides. That was only a problem because the curtains did not reach the floor, they were about 6 inches too short. Therefore the water splashed underneath and the whole bathroom floor got soaking wet. The problem was that the toilet and basin (very low and small hand basin not really a bathroom sink!) were on the other side of the room to the shower. Once you had had a shower you then had to constantly walk across the wet floor and then into the room. We mentioned this to reception and they did arrange for someone to come in and dry the floor and provide new towels.

This hotel was beautiful, the location was fantastic, close to train station and bus routes and right across the green and walking distance to The tower bridge and restaurants/pubs. The hotel was exceptionally clean, it had a smart toilet/heated toilet seats 😲 and Posterior/Feminine Wash facility. Shower was great too, powerful and hot. The room was a great size, lots of wardrobe space, tea coffee making facility's and a choice, with topped up mini fridge and dressing gowns and nessecitys in bathroom drawer. Staff were lovely, welcoming, polite and helpful.

There was nothing we didn't like about this hotel or our stay there.

Central location just around the corner from Tower Bridge and over the bridge from London Tower .5 minute walk from Tower Hill tube station .view of the Shard from the room . It was a special occasion my partners 60th birthday he received a birthday cake and a card from the Hotel which was a lovely gesture . It was a bit expensive but a beautiful hotel a lot of the original features were still there from the Old Grammar school that it once was room was large and and clean bathroom was exceptional .

There wasn't anything that we didn't like
