The room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. The small kitchenette had the few things that I needed to prepare breakfast. I asked in advance for a silent room, and they were able to provide, by placing me in a studio on the top floor and facing the back of the building. There's a café at the entrance downstairs where you can have breakfast. There isn't a lot of choice, but the quality is good and the service friendly.

The mattress was too soft, and the middle was slightly lower compared to the top. I found it hard to fall asleep the first couple of nights because of the discomfort it caused.

The biggest problem with this hotel is that there is no room for guests on the first floor. Since the entire first floor is operated as a study cafe, it is full of students from early morning to late evening, so there is no space for guests to rest for a while or do office work, causing great inconvenience. In addition, the fact that the double bed is small and the inside is turned off is also an inconvenience. If these points are improved, this accommodation deserves to be evaluated as a good accommodation without reproach.

Bermonds Locks was an excellent studio apartment for my one week stay in London. LOVED having a washing machine in the apartment and all the kitchen facilities. Very close to Tower Bridge and nice cafes. Really cool place and nicely designed. Had a nice vibe and felt safe with staff always in attendance, even late at night. Important as a solo traveller!

I found the pillows very uncomfortable. I gave feedback that there should be basics like salt, pepper and oil in the kitchens as these were a pain to go and source from local supermarkets who only had giant versions not suitable for travellers. Synthetic fragrance in the lobby area was overpowering. The fact that you had to book the gym 24 hour in advance to use made me not use it much. Hotel staff were excellent and promptly got back to me when I raised these issues. Only other thing to note is that it's a good 15 min walk at least to the closest tube station (London Bridge) which got a bit tiring going back and forth sometimes multiple times a day.

This is a very young and vibrant spot. There isn't really any parking that I could see. Its on a busy street with lots of shops & restaurants close by as well as bus stops. The kitchen had the basics and was really new & modern. There is a coffee bar just inside the front door but coffee & tea bags in the room. We just asked at the desk if we needed more. I love the security of needing your room key to use elevator. The shower was AMAZING!

We couldn't figure out how make the dryer work with the washer/dryer combination. The friendly young gentleman at the front desk told us someone would have helped us at the front desk. We didn't think to go down & ask so its on us.

Exceptional room with an amazing view of the Shard (pic taken from our room) and across to the London Eye, very clean and tidy, decent fridge in room (yay!), friendly staff, Sainsbury's 2 mins away. Five minute walk to Tower Bridge and lots of cafes, restaurants and pubs close by - and Borough Market. All above expectations tbh, and will definitely stay again.

14 minute walk to Borough tube (which seems a minute or two closer than London Bridge tube) - OK for us but maybe a bit longer than totally ideal. Loads of bus stops much closer though. Not a negative just an observation - and didn't put us off at all.

Our room had a column in the middle of it so made it small. We inquired about a larger room and was told it was overbooked and all the rooms are the same size anyway. We looked online and could see, there are several rooms sizes. Not sure why the guy felt he needed to say all the rooms were the same sizes, just keep it honest.

This is accomdation is in a really great spot for exploring south London and a short walk over Tower Bridge to central London. It's quite a basic hotel/accomdation in so far as the rooms just have what you need and not much more, but the rooms were very clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. This isn't where you stay if you are looking for something luxurious but if you want a place to rest your head with everything you need in a great location, this is a great choice. For the price point a fantastic option.

There's not much we didn't like about this stay, other than the washer/dryer combo did not dry the clothes. However we believe it may have been broken and so we didn't bother notifying staff so we just hung out our clothes to dry instead. Otherwise the accommodation is what it is, a basic but comfortable place to stay close to Bermondsey Street.

Great place to stay during visiting London. Very close to London Bridge metro station, yet area is calm and quiet. Around there is a lot of small restaurants and pubs, so anyone will find something suitable. About room, it was spacious and very clean. Fully equipped kitchen with oven and washing machine gives you feeling of staying in own apartament rather than hotel. Also bed was very comfortable, not too soft like in most places. The service was great and staff was happy to reply to all our answers and needs. Definitely we will stay there again.

Staff was friendly. Located in a quiet neighborhood, off a nice street with restaurants and caffès.

The layout of the "suite" we were upgraded to without being asked. Bed is squeezed between 2 walls making it hard to walk around it, uncomfortable for people having issues with small spaces. We anticipated this, and booked a studio well in advance, but somehow it wasn't available at check in. The catering/restaurant onsite facility was closed during covid pandemic. And did not reopen.
