The location is fantastic, within a short 10-15min walk of London Bridge station and the Shard. Plenty of choice in restaurants, bars, pubs and coffee shops nearby. Staff were really friendly and helpful (we got an upgrade to a suite we think because we were celebrating a birthday) Breakfast is quite varied and covers the usual hot and cold items you would expect, you can also take items up to your room which is a real positive (especially as at busy times you may struggle for a seat in the breakfast area) The room was really cosy and comfortable, with a kitchenette and coffee machine as well as a sofa and two TVs.

We had a few minor problems with the bathroom, it had a sliding door which got stuck at one point and came off it's runner, fortunately one of us knew what to do to get it working again. The shower looked as if it was past it's best and didn't seem to be the right one for the fitting as it wouldn't stay in place. Due to the layout space for towels was limited and there was just two hooks. One side of the bed doesn't have a shelf or table, even a little one would help for a light/phone or clock. The hotel is down an alleyway off Bermondsey Road so you could miss the entrance if you don't see the sign on the corner.

The location is excellent, with the C10 bus stop just a few meters away, connecting the hotel to the city's main attractions. The subway and train stations are also nearby. The breakfast menu varied each day during our stay, and peak hours were clearly indicated both in the room and in the common areas. It was great to have complimentary access to the gym and laundry facilities, as well as a living room equipped with books and a television. The rooms were well-equipped with everything needed, even including dishwasher tablets.

On the check in date I got an email that we will be staying at the sister Residence Inn London Bridge. We did get the same room style and breakfast, although both hotels charged me (it was refunded later when I called). Therefore this review is for the other property, really. We loved the studio room, it was a bit strange, though that the bed was at the entrance door and the rest of the room at the back by the window. All was clean and cozy, nice modern decor. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, great bread choices.

The staff could appear friendlier. I also felt a little confused about the relocation. One strange thing was I asked where the toilets are while in the restaurant, and was directed to the basement next to the gym. The single bathroom was busy there so a member of staff took me through a hall into the staff area toilets. This would be ok with me, but in ladies rooms there was no soap, but shampoo instead for washing hands. I ended up using the disabled toilet which also had a missing soap altogether. Not great.

Breakfast was great each day. Staff were mostly helpful. And the facilities ok.

The hot water was not ok in our room. It was very lukewarm and we mentioned it to the reception on the first morning and nothing was done about it. We also told them about our leaking kettle and again nothing done. It wasn’t until we told the house keeping about the kettle that they replaced it. We also found the hotel were often using the dryers for hotel towels, which was an inconvenience as a lot of hotel guests were doing washing as well.

We arrived early in the morning and we had to work the day we arrived. The front desk staff were so accommodating, they allowed us to enjoy the breakfast and said they would try get our room ready for us to work as we had to take calls and the dining area was a bit loud. Around 11am they told us it was ready! Not only that they upgraded us to a 1 bed suite free of charge, it got our trip off to the most amazing start! Breakfast everyday was great with a better variety than I thought we would have and the breakfast staff were so friendly and accommodating also! Really great stay will be back

Nothing really, it’s slightly pricey for what you get but there was a lot of sport that weekend so everywhere had increased pricing.

Very nice room. Breakfast was delicious. Despite being located approx. 15 minutes from the tube, the neighborhood is amazing - there are many nice restaurants and cafes in a walking distance from the hotel.

There was a problem with electricity. Apparently, since we were charging our laptops (through adapters), we somehow used too much electricity, and our adapters broke down at the same time. This has never happened to any of us before. The staff did not help us to solve this issue, hence we were unable to charge our device at the end of our stay.

Breakfast was good, lots of choices, had the best cinnamon roll. Hotel is close to London bridge.

There was a clicking noise in our room in the early hours of the morning which I am assuming is something to do with hot water pipes, not sure, but the clicking wakes us up. It happened in the 3rd day of our stay. We were on the 3rd floor.

Great location close to transport. Breakfast was good. Laundry facilities were free which was perfect.

Wasn’t sure it was exactly as booked, as we had to change hotels as soon as we arrived. Thought when our property said separate main bedroom it was a separate, walled room but this wasn’t the case. Both bedrooms were open, one as you walk in to the apartment and the other fold out bed in the kitchen area. We were sharing with our adult son so was a bit inconvenient.

The location, comfortable bed, kitchen facility and friendly staff are all very good. Having free washing machines and dryers were a bonus, although the dryers take at least 2 hours. The breakfast is quite generous although not all high standard e.g. hot dishes were often cold

The lifts are noisy and shudder . The room doors are difficult to close quietly therefore everyone bangs their doors which is very annoying as the bedroom area is next to the corridor. The ensuites are very small for such high priced rooms. The gym had no products to clean down the equipment after use.

Due to a plumbing issue the night before arriving, we were transferred to neighbouring hotel london bridge which was a few minutes walk away. Quality of amenities, variation at breakfast & cleaning.

Did not receive even an email to inform of the expected change to my booking. Drinking glasses were not all replaced after washing during daily cleaning. A complimentary bottle or 2/3 bottle of water should be provided especially during the summer season.
