Location was near everything we wanted to see in Quebec City. We reserved parking and only used the car when we left Old Quebec. Room and bath were quite comfortable and met our needs. Staff were helpful. We pre-ordered breakfast for each day of our stay, which was fine the first day (more below). I believe the rooms actually had windows that opened, which I'd never seen in a hotel before. Admittedly though, we chose to use the a/c because the whole area was having a hot spell, including heat warnings. Being from Houston, we were thrilled with the outdoor temperatures and just wanted a bit of cool inside, hence the a/c. We would stay here again.

They seemed to have an increasingly difficult time with the breakfast service on the second and third mornings of our stay. This was unfortunate as we had prepaid and it turned out there were many reasonable options nearby. The only other issue was that the a/c in the room seemed quite noisy. Otherwise, no issues.

The room was spacious and really quiet. The hotel was really clean and well maintained even if the outside can let you think a bit the opposite. The breakfast was continental, so simple but easy and quick. The staff, devoted and friendly. Everything you need is accessible inside of 5-10 minutes by foot. I recommend this place! You have to reserve a parking place by calling the hotel but if any place is available, the city hall parking is not far from the hotel by foot.

When I reserved the hotel room on Booking, parking seems to be included, but it’s not, you have to reserve it by calling the hotel.

The Hotel location is in a secure place in Downtown Quebec City. Just two street away, you will find a chain of eateries as well as drinking joints for multicultural clientele. Also found along the street are cheap souvenir shops, where you can buy your gift items to take home as presents. There is an option of a paid for breakfast, on top of the room rate. This is delivered directly to your doorstep. The advantage I had was that there is also free coffee and chocolate 24/7 round the clock. This was ideal for me as my breakfast was already paid for at the Near-by Hilton Hotel, Quebec City, where we had our Conference. I therefore saved on breakfast as well as taxi costs to the Conference venue as the Hilton Hotel was just 7-minutes walk from this Hotel.

The room rate was extremely high at CAD. 255 sharing before tax. You should inform Customers through the website about the tax rates and include this in the room rate to help one make an informed decision. Also the habit of ambushing Customers and hiving-off CAD. 100 as 'caution money' is not good. Supposing it finds one not having that amount in his/her Card, what happens? This information should be contained in the website, so Customers come knowing this is going to be deducted from their card. I just pray that the process of refunding this 'caution money' will not be disorienting to the Customers.

We found the staff very helpful and friendly; the rooms were quiet and comfy; the bonus was free access to the espresso coffee machine; breakfast was provided for a good price with good variety of options and was very tasty.

Nothing really. The lamps were the main lighting which provided a relaxing ambience but not really bright enough for reading at night. I also had a bit of trouble working out how to adjust the shower but once that was resolved, everything was great.p

This is a fantastic hotel. Great location, big rooms, nice furnishing, good towels, comfortable bed with good linens. The whole package, especially for the area and price point. Mostly, the staff are amazingly polite, friendly, efficient .... we are senior citizens and the staff was just so helpful when we couldn't get TV to work ... it was us ... not TV ... we are not tech savvy. Can't say enough about how well we were treated.

Everything exceeded what we expected.

Floor had not been cleaned in the bathroom (we had to clean as some large residue of spillage had been left and was brown in color) The floor had not been mopped or wiped down ( obviously inadvertently since the rest of the bathroom was clean) The one coffee machine in the hotel ( located in the tiny lobby) was out of commission the entire time.

Hotel is up a hill on Sainte Anne in old Quebec. Did not have breakfast. TV wasn't working when we arrived so were given another room immediately. Comfortable beds in large quiet room with plenty of space and nice view over a school but with much else to see over the old city. Close to many restaurants and a couple of small grocery stores.

Location, location, location!! I was able to walk everywhere and see what I wanted to see. I did not eat the hotel breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. The coffee/espresso bar was very convenient and appreciated. Room was clean and comfortable. No view but that was okay because I was out walking all day.

Parking was not clearly explained. Was parking on site but was $24 per night. But we had a larger vehicle so we were told it wouldn't fit in their lot. The staff were helpful in mapping us to a fairly close city lot which was $20 per day(approx. 8 min walk). Just would have been nice to be prepared for this, but not a huge problem.

Wonderful hotel located in a great part of Old Québec within the old walled area. Convenient for walking. Clean and surprisingly good sized rooms. I will be back.

Parking is very tight but not surprising considering it is in a very old part of the city. My car didn't fit in the assigned spot but the staff were very accommodating and found me an alternate spot. Offsite pay parking can be found a couple of blocks away.
