Very spacious apartment on the 3rd floor (304). We could even see glimpses of the Chateau Frontenac from our bedroom. We used the kitchen and laundry facilities in our room. There was a dishwashing brush and dishwashing detergent provided. The can opener was not great but otherwise they had a full kitchen of pots/pans/baking tray for oven, microwave, Kettle, toaster. There were plenty of towels, face towels, tea towels, floor towel and facial tissues. Heating/cooling was via reverse cycle air conditioner and windows. We didn’t use the air circulation system on the wall as it didn’t seem to turn on. Great location as the street is closed to cars from 11am-midnight in the warmer weather. It’s near one of the walled city gates, on a main street with lots of shops/restaurants and takes 10mins walk to get to the Chateau Frontenac/Dufferin Terrace and the waterfront. Even with all the noise around the sound insulation was very good in the apartment so we rarely heard the crowds below. Also it was only 10mins walk to get to a larger supermarket (MetroPlus) outside of the old town… there is a short cut down a long flight of stairs but Google Maps doesn’t really know how to take you that way. The roof top terrace was a nice bonus but unfortunately it gets very hot during the day when the sun is out and there were no umbrella/shade. Nice views of the city skyline when the lights turn on.

The loft was suitable for our child but the loft floor and trundle bed were very squeaky/noisy. Main floor and main bed did not have any such issues. No laundry detergent was officially provided (but the previous guest left a few detergent capsules for us). Also they only provide shampoo and soap so you may wish to bring other toiletries. Wednesday mornings is when the council collects rubbish so can be noisy.

Location, Location, Location. Located in Upper Old Quebec City, very close to everything for a stay to explore. The place is large with two beds, one downstairs in a murphy bed and the other a queen upstairs in the loft. Wifi excellent, Fully equipped kitchen with washer and dryer.

While coffee was provided, there was no creamer or sugar. No detergents for the washer and dryer. Most Airbnb's and VRBO's in North America that include washer and dryers provide such items as travellers don't normally carry such. Not a deal breaker its is a break from the norm that is expected and that info should be provided for the renters.

The property is located right at the heart of Quebec, on rue Saint-Jean. This is a very convenient location for visiting the city. The street is very busy, however this apartment was at the back of the building and very quiet. It's a spacious loft, bathing in light, with one bedroom and a sofa bed in the main room. Worked well for our family of three. Might be trickier for any more people though. Comfy beds, including the sofa bed. The kitchen was well equipped - we did some cooking during our stay and found nothing missing. Easy access with door codes and no hassle with keys...:)

The bathroom is in need of some TLC. The lighting is poor and the main handle of the shower unit that controls the water flow was nearly falling off. The shower worked, but should probably be changed asap...

Location on a main street but with pedestrian access only after midday Double glazing kept the noise outside. Apartment was spacious and comfortable. Being able to wash and dry clothes was ideal Right in the heart of the old town with many eateries nearby and supermarkets not far away. Able to cook it f needs be. Large fridge and dishwasher made life easier.

Shower was the only thing to comment on as a negative but it was serviceable. Also having a shower over a bath is convenient if travelling with small children but not so when you are grand parents without them! 😔

Great location and ease of access. Plenty of great restaurants nearby and perfect walking distance to most attractions. The property was clean. Comfortable bedding. Amenities provided were nice. The hotel team were very responsive and answered questions we had regarding parking etc. Some minor issues for the hotel to address but would definitely return for another stay.

The WiFi and TV were very subpar. The poor WiFi was slow on our devices, and made the streaming services on the TV unusable so we could only watch basic cable (we do not understand French so the tv was useless). Although very clean, the apartment had a musty smell as mentioned in other reviews (had to open windows to remove the smell). The air conditioner unit itself was turned on, but you could not adjust the temperature at all with the remote provided. Also, mold in the washer. Lastly, the apartment we stayed in mentioned two twin beds but did not include a photo or provide information that one of the twin beds was a roll out trundle bed. This is perfect for a family with children, but maybe less preferred for grown adults.

Excellent size loft, clean and neat upon arrival. Two bathrooms, one on each level which was a bonus. Excellent location to everything in the Old City. Would have rated it higher, but the bathroom lighting was horrible blue light and literally couldn’t see well at all. They definitely need new a new mattress at this location. I would definitely return if those two things were corrected as we liked the location very much!

Bathroom lighting was blue and made everything look awful and hard to see. The mattress definitely needs replacing, as it was not comfortable.

Location in Old Quebec City. The loft was really beautiful. Loved the brick walls and huge windows. The concierge at Les lofts charest was very personable although the door was locked and he was not at the desk initially within the operating hours with no sign saying ‘back in 10 mins’ or something like that

We were not told about the potential of closed off streets in the weekends for dropping off luggage purposes but we did like the pedestrian only streets. We appreciated that off site parking would happen in the old part. Here were no kitchen basics there. Ie oil. Salt and pepper, spices. There were no hand soaps. The shower could have used instructions on how to operate. Couldn’t get the a/c to work

It was a gorgeous loft that we'd consider the perfect location. It seemed clean and provided all of the amenities it claimed to (although it was a little hot and we couldn't figure out the AC-we'll call it a user error, we did not reach out about it.)

We had a toddler with us and it was not child proof-we we're expecting a child-proof venue. This would be my only critique is that it was a little dangerous. Nothing against the venue, it would have been perfect for her if she was a little older.

The location was perfect. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. A spacious bedroom and full bathroom were upstairs. We appreciated having an 1/2 bath on the main floor.

One needed to be careful going up and down the metal spiral staircase to the second story. Parking was about a two block walk away. The apartment was on a busy street with no temporary parking to unload our luggage so we needed to carry all of it from the parking garage.

The location was great, so central to the old town and the train station. Just what we were looking for.

There was a bit of an issue with check-in as it was not clearly explained how to give our credit card info for deposit in order to get check in info. Partially my fault, but made difficult by the fact that we were travelling and had limited data to open the links to the letter that was sent multiple times but without an explanation that it contained essential information for check-in. Resolved in the end though, but having to call to give credit card info was not ideal. Would have been good to know in advance that one of the twin beds was just a trundle bed.
