Very quaint, comfortable, and surrounded by wonderful scenic neighborhoods loaded with eateries and coffee shops. Nearby underground parking available. All facilities worked well, though the room key was occasionally stubborn. A small rooftop terrace is there but I saw no note of it on Booking.com. Very pleasant and helpful front desk. We found the location to be fantastic and coupled with the staff and older style accommodations greatly enjoyed our stay here. I definitely recommend it if you want to enjoy the old city!!!

Unloading zone is not well marked (it would disturb the historic look), no A/C on fall "shoulder" days where heat might also be needed. A little too noisy with windows open at night, but quiet with inner+outer windows closed. Entrance stairs were short and thus created a steep climb to enter the building - carpet on them made slipping on exit a possibility, caution is required when descending them.

The room (2 double bed w the two plaid chairs) was exactly as pictured or even better. The two windows overlooked the Old City and it was a large beautiful room with comfortable beds and exceptional housekeeping. We absolutely loved our room (#10). The staff was wonderful. Their location could not be beat. Near to everything. We even used the rooftop terrace for reading and a place to drink a cup of coffee. The hotel itself is historic and beautifully decorated. Reasonable parking right across the streets in underground parking garage.

Important to note that there is no elevator. And step steps walking into hotel. We were in a room on second floor but there are 3 floors. We had read ahead of time and were prepared but important to know.

Excellent location in Old Quebec City! (Parking garage very close by (half a block?) and plan best to walk around and not drive) My wife and gal pal for pre holiday shopping have stayed here before and now this hubby and wife and our son and we were very satisfied. Very clean rooms. Breakfast and lunch and many dinner options a short walk away. We would stay here again. Our room we had our own bathroom and shower and son's room (2nd floor) his private bathroom down the hall but no problem and very clean. (Nice hot shower after a great winter walk around!) Room climate control was comfortable. Comfortable bed. If staying during the winter, dress in warm layers and consider on-off ice grippers for your boots for teated but at times slick sidewalks!

No complaints but a minor challenge with the entry off the street and 3-4 fairly steep steps so minor effort entering and exiting with luggage. Early riser above our room but only minor foot steps heard. Our son had his own room facing the street and said it was very quiet.

Position in old Quebec superb, very quaint, very helpful staff.

It is a great location hotel. It has Victorian charm. Our room was ready when we got there. We got there very early. It does have narrow steep stairs leading to the front door, so if you have mobility issues or expect a sizable lobby to hang out - this place may not be for you. You definitely book this place for the experience and charm and not for the amenities- something to keep in mind. Front desk is not 24 hours on site but you don’t need them to be there. You get instructions how to get in after hours or check out early. This trip was a graduation gift- getaway for my son and we enjoyed our stay.

The room was quite cramped but not a big issue, esp for its price. I like that my room has a window with a view of Old Quebec. Instructions for late checkin were pretty straightforward. The bathroom was separate from the room and two rooms or so away but again, not a big issue. The bathroom has all I need and was well cleaned and supplied. The aesthetic of the room was really cool. The location was fantastic! Close to places of interest. Highly recommend this place!

This place is actually historic upon some reading online. Would be great for them to consider some historical information or narrative upon checkin or something along the lines - might help with the attractiveness of the property!

Fantastic location right in the city so plenty of places to eat and drink. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they even gave us a map and made suggestions for a day trip. The room was very typically French and suited the vibe perfectly. I would come back here in a heartbeat!

The room was on the first floor so it was a little awkward getting luggage up the tight staircase.

Marie-Rollet is located in the heart of the old Quebec, on the upper side, a couple of minutes walk from the Fairmont. This is the ideal location as it is in walking distance to everything in the old city and at the same time set in a quiet location. The building is an old, charming one. The room we were in (just behind the front desk, was very big, decorated in an old style but with the amenities (bathroom, AC) of the modern life. The staff was friendly and the place was super clean. I will stay there again and highly recommended to anyone.

The woman working the desk was fantastic. She helped as best she could when we could not find a place to park. She was friendly and informative. The room was beautiful and spacious. The location was perfect and we could walk easily to everything, except our parking spot.

We drove for an hour and a half looking for a place to park. It would have been nice if the hotel had alerted us beforehand that the close parking mentioned on their website was not available. The traffic in the old part of the city was unlike anything I had ever seen before. We ended up finding a spot very far away, but lost a lot of time in the finding of it. The bathroom sink area was very small.
