Nice big rooms Staff very friendly Hotel was closed to public didn't mind that found it odd that you had to call to enter the main building due to I think work going on or something don't think it's normal practice so didn't mind too much. Accommodation is round the back in a different building Privacy is nice. Property is very big which is great. Door to enter can be difficult but view is lovely. The air is great the curtains are so good for blacking out light. Very soft beds. Very comfy.

TV is a bit small for size of room Bathroom door lacks privacy Aside from that which can easily be overlooked great stay, great location, nice parking available

I like the Quiet and sorry. And there is a english Chippy. About 5 10 min walk on North road. it nice and quiet. The only issue I had was they need to change the time for breakfast on a Sunday because it says weekends between 8 and 10 and it wasn't open on Sunday. At the right time, I'm only having an issue with this as IM A type 2 diabetic. And I need to have my medication with food Luckily I had fruit in my room And they also need to sort the lock out on the main door of the lodge as I got locked out yesterday afternoon. Luckily the cleaners were in and they opened the door. And also need to take off the messages. When people book that they don't do a Cooked breakfast instead of depending on Staff the breakfast is decent because there's a choice of cerial toast fruit yogurt ect tea coffee orange juice It is a nice place for a few days. Get away what the do need to start updating stuff. I locks on the door and the messages. They send people when you book with booking dot coverall good place to go. It is morelderly people because there's not many shops, but there is a canal that you can take a Walker and there is a few takeawand a Greg's charity shop. Dog groomers a pet shop a nice little church Plus they do a nice carvery on a Sunday.

I didn't like the fact that I had to get someone to let me in the building because the lock keeps jamming and breakfast is late on a Sunday instead of 8 o'clock. They opened about half nine ten when it's due to finish

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They were so flexible to move breakfast a little earlier so we could make our connection. There's a continental breakfast (toast, jams, pancakes, tea cakes, croissant, pain au chocolate, cereals, orange juice, coffee & tea and a small selection of fruits) from 8:00-10:00am. The room was quite spacious and the beds were comfortable (they're on the softer side). The location is excellent, close to the train station, but not so close that you hear the trains throughout the night. There's an Aldi and a Booths just 2 minutes walking away.

The facilities are a bit older, but they do a good job on trying to keep it up to date, working and clean. It's just a bit older, but everything worked just fine! The hotel is located next to a busier road, so you might want to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Lovely big family suite with sofa, large coffee table and wardrobe in main room, plenty of shelving and drawers for clothing etc. and separate bathroom (with bath) and kids' twin room, at a reasonable price. Great selection for continental breakfast, available from 8 until 10am, which suited us. Helpful, friendly staff. Carpark next to lodge. Various shops and supermarkets, train station, heritage centre and playground within walking distance and pleasant walk along the canal.

Unfortunately, there were some tears in the old sofa and the bedroom curtain kept falling off the end of the rail.

The food in the restaurant was excellent. The room was comfy, and the bathroom was well equipped and pleasant. The staff were great as well

The accommodation is in a separate building from the restaurant. It was very cold when we stayed, so it would have been nice not to have to get fully layered up to go and eat, but it's a trivial thing. The room was a little dated, and could have been in a 70s hotel, but was still very comfortable. If decor is the only problem, then that's not really a proper issue! Also, the accommodation block is next to a busy road. If you were a very light sleeper then that could be a problem, but we weren't disturbed at all. Everything else was excellent.

The room was lovely and in a quiet zone. Clean and very comfortable. Jan was very helpful and seemed to be running on solo

The shower cold tap was jammed shut which made the shower too hot . I reported it and as I stayed one night I expect it has been repaired etc

Location was spot on because it was in town! And the room was Huge for two❤️❤️

Just the fact when your craving a good coffee as you would put it with Alternative Milk it was out of the question. Try a tad of Almond milk and then we would have sat down and had a scrumptious breakfast. Soo looking forward to that. 😳🌟

Great sized rooms with everything we needed and in good location.

How we collected the keys and had to clarify whether breakfast included. Luckily we rang and asked as soon as we checked in and picked some up from Booths before we checked out. Need some clear signage in car park to direct people where to collect keys.

Emily the member of staff was super friendly and helpful. Good location in the town of Carnforth. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Lovely large room.

Room 21 had a funny smell. Tried to get into the main building one night and there was nobody around to have a drink. No food available in the evening.
