Rooms were comfortable. Close proximity to the historic district (1 mile walk or a little further to drive to public parking). AC kept our rooms cool during a heat wave. Wide selection of breakfast items.
Hallways don’t seem to have AC so it was a steamy 85 degrees or warmer in the hall though our rooms were cool. One slow elevator that is past inspection due date. Side entrance door was not fully shut a few times when we returned and we had to keep shutting it so non-guests could not access it. Front desk staff wasn’t helpful with tourist related questions and made no attempt to be of service which struck me as very odd given the hotel location and the fact they are in the travel and tourism industry.

The property was clean. You could go to the restaurant next door through the lobby. The staff were friendly.
An ice machine on the second floor overheated and caused the fire alarm to go off. We were confused to whether it was an actual fire because no one said anything or made people aware it was a serious matter. A lot of people stayed in their rooms. We didn’t though we exited the building and stayed until the fire department said it was safe to enter. An elderly lady complained that they were supposed to come and knock on doors to evacuate the guests.

The room was large and clean, everything worked well. The location is perfect, very close to all the sites.
We tried to use the pool, the water was freezing, so it was not usable. Also, the common areas like hallways and elevators were not very clean, but not too bad. Also, it was obvious that there was pot smoking in some rooms as we could smell it in the hallways, totally unacceptable. Breakfast was not great either.

The availability and price was great. Being able to find a room in Williamsburg last minute was a blessing.
The breakfast station was not very well kept. There were a lot of items not stocked and the trash can was overflowing and people would leave their plates on the table because there was not room in the trash can. There was not much in the way of options for food. It was either a microwavable breakfast sandwich or yogurt and cereal.

What we liked: Pet friendly Very approachable staff Very helpful staff EV charging station Nice and facility Amanda from the restaurant beside the hotel. She is very nice and introduces us to the very tasty food of the restaurant.
What we don't like: The pool water is not that warm. The back sliding door has no security lock on it and can be open by any strangers. if somebody has a gun who is not staying at the hotel and goes inside, that's jeopardized everybody's life.

The room was very nice. Good smelling and nice big bathroom. The bed was comfortable.
The maid service was not good. When we got there I found a spot of poop in front of the toilet and during our stay of one week there was no maid service for at least two of the days and only partial maid service for one day.

They were very kind and helpful, I ended up being a victim of domestic violence while I was there unfortunately and the staff hoped to my rescue quick they made sure me and my children were in a safe place in the back until police came they kept my belongings safe. They gave me my deposit back even though the defender wrecked the room. They called and checked on me via hospital and police. I’ve never felt so much love from any hotel staff best stay I’ve ever had hands down. They are exceptional wonderful kind caring understanding people

I liked the close proximity to Busch Gardens. The rooms were in good condition, and for the most part, the staff was very friendly and helpful. A few minor blips, but overall very good.
I didnt really care about the fact that I had to go outside the building and come back in to get to the front lobby/reception. There was a lady at the reception desk during the night shift that responded to my questions with a head shake and a look of disgust when I tried to ask a simple question. Another employee stepped in to answer my question. I feel that being in the business of customer service and being in the position to be the face of a business like this, it is very unprofessional to act and respond this way. Also, both rooms keys deactivated. We had to keep going back to the front desk to get them activated, a bit inconvenient.

Central to Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, Yorktown, Jamestown. The staff was friendly, helpful and kind.
There was someone there trying to push us to look at a time share. He was extremely pushy.

The location was excellent. The staff were friendly. The restaurant had great Mexican food; the service was very good too!
The price was above other hotels in Williamsburg. The breakfast in a bag was good, not great.
