LXHill is in a really great spot in Lisbon, central to lots going on. The check in was really straightforward and the staff were really helpful about a mix up with rooms that was our fault, they didn’t have to be so accommodating but they were and this really was helpful. Loved the outside area where we had breakfast, this was continental style which found great as a start to our day, there are so many fabulous places to eat in Lisbon you don’t want too much first thing! The rooms were clean, the smaller ones a little tight bathroom wise but not a problem. The honesty bar was a nice touch, they had drinks and snacks available 24 hours you just helped yourself and they trusted you to pay by euros or card. Would definitely stay again

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We needed to check-out extra early and they were able to prepare a breakfast for us the night before so it was ready to be picked up from the fridge. The space itself was really nice, a little tight but not too small and the beds were very comfy. The AC worked great as well.

It was a bit challenging to get to (many hills and stairs up to the hotel itself) from the metro station when having luggage. But that is Lisbon in general. The only thing to improve was the reception/check-in location. It was actually located past the entrance desk and into the lounge itself. It was confusing when we first arrived for check-in because we were standing by the entrance desk waiting for someone to attend to us until other guests passing by told us where to actual check-in. It would be very helpful if there was a warning message or a sign to tell us where to check-in when we arrived.

Breakfast was ok, it could contain maybe boiled or scrambled eggs. Also, it could be server earlier that 8:30, I had a meetings at 9 and I had to hurry every morning so I can manage on time. Maybe they should think to have a breakfast from 7:30-8:00 am. Also, they should have a free coffee at the lobby for breakfast from 7 am. At the fridge in the reception they should also have a wine for purchase. Besides this everything was perfect.

Everything was great. The receptionists were amazing young girls who helped us with a lot of things, always with smile.

Breakfast was great, simple but enough to get you started for the day. There is a really nice terrace and outdoor seating which I spent my mornings at. Location was also great, close to the centre but also quiet enough to have some respite from the tourists.

The room I stayed in was a triple bunk, I was in the middle thankfully but the heat would be a lot in the height of summer and without AC. There was a window but it was an internal window to the breakfast hall which meant I was very close to the early risers.

Beautiful building with a great garden and lounge area. The Staff were amazing and very helpful and the breakfast in the morning was a great addition, especially to a hostel stay. It had everything you needed while feeling secure and friendly. It’s location is a short walk from many city sights although the walk is both up and down hills hahaha

My partner and I booked a private room with a bathroom and although everything was useable and well maintained it did feel a little cramped.

Lx Hill is located in a very strategic position, 2 minutes from Funicular Bica and the wonderful Miradour de Santa Caterina. A few steps from main street Calcada do Combro. Very good breakfast with organic food, far better than typical ordinary hotel breakfast. It is a hostel so you will eat with the other gusts at a large table, there is also an outdoor space with a several tables.

Rooms are very close to each other and they are not really soundproof. So it depends a bit on the neighbours. But nevertheless I could sleep well.

The hostel is centrally located: walkable to tons of sights and train stations, and a short Uber ride to the airport. It was clean, modern, and minimal -- just what we needed, no more or less. There was a fan and hangers, tasty breakfast options, and cute common space.

We had a fan, but it was still too hot to sleep with the windows closed during our stay. Our balcony had stairs down to a common space, and someone wandered up outside of our window one morning. We would've felt more comfortable leaving the window open at night if the stairs were inaccessible to wanderers. It also would've been helpful to have a shelf for toiletries in the bathroom, a stronger wifi connection (it disconnected every few minutes), and fewer emails leading up to our stay.

The shared spaces are really pleasant and the staff was really nice. The breakfast is decent and the room although is small it wouldn’t be an issue if it would have multiple storage space and sufficient hangers. The location of the hostel is perfect as it is located in a central area.

The bathroom doesn’t have any storage space, not even a shelf and the walls are really thin, you can hear everything from the hallway and what the neighbors are talking. It’s ok for a short stay but wouldn’t recommend it for a longer vacation.

An overall great stay - the room was lovely and the hostel facilities were beautiful and very well maintained. Very happy to have had a (very clean and neat) private bathroom although it's a hostel. Breakfast was excellent. Location is only around 10 minutes' walk from the first part of the historic centre, bars, restaurants etc. Highly satisfied considering the price paid.

The room was a little small but not at all disappointing considering the price. It was quite stuffy since there was no AC, but a fan was provided, which was fine. There are some steep hills when walking to the hostel from the metro so consider taking a cab from the station.

Super happy with this stay. When we arrived we were welcomed with coffee left over from breakfast, this is because we arrived at 11:30 am, long before the usual check-in time. Even though we arrived so early, our room was already ready, clean and fragrant. The breakfast had almost everything we needed and the staff was exceptional, super friendly and attentive. If we return to Lisbon we will definitely return here!

I just missed boiled eggs for breakfast.
