We booked this hotel as our last night stay in Iceland after our two-weeks' self-driven trip round the island. We have chosen this hotel for its proximity to the airport: it said it is just 100 m away from the airport (actually it is from the Departure Hall of the airport), so that we wouldn't have to take a shuttle bus to the airport. Finally we found that it is also very close to our car rental company: it is just about 5 mins' walk from our car rental company. It is not difficult to find at all: it is just the tallest building outside the airport, with a very nice red-brown color. It is a very nice hotel and the check-in process was fast. The room is large with a spacious washroom, and is spotlessly clean. The room has a large window facing the airport. The bed is comfortable and the room has a nice heater. The breakfast buffet next morning was delicious, too, with lots of food to choose from. It starts from 4:00 am, which fits well for those who have to take the morning plane like us. Overall I can say this is an ideal hotel for those who have just arrived at Iceland, or about to leave Iceland.
Nothing.

Good location if you had an early flight like us. Rooms are a reasonable size with good bathroom. Keep in mind that you are at the airport and that you will also hear some aircraft noises. We found the breakfast not really extensive and frankly a bit disappointing. You could expect the crowds in the morning, since many planes leave early in the morning at the same time. The advantage is that you can return the rental car in the evening, so that you do not have to be in the crowd in the morning. We were also lucky that we could check in our suitcases the night before (self-service), so that we could sleep a little longer and also avoid the crowds (because it was quite busy in the morning when checking in). It is only a 2 minute walk to the car rental and airport. For one night before an early flight or late arrival, this is the perfect solution and not that expensive either.

staff were friendly, hotel rooms were lovely quite spacious and comfortable beds. the included breakfast was delicious and really needed before our flight back home saves on expensive airport food
alot of tv channels did not work unfortunately so limited to what we could watch. the beds only had one pillow each and one spare so unfortunately my partner pulled the short straw and I had two pillows and he had one although we never asked at reception for another which I'm sure they would have given us a spare if we needed

Location, location, location-cannot be beat; literally an easy walk to the airport. Hotel was good. In the US, I would compare it to a Hampton Inn, for an example; but the location wins. Everything was comfortable enough. The food was fine and filling. When I asked for extra pillows, I got them. The staff was friendly.
The bathroom was dark, and the blow dryer was only okay. We could hear the wind in the bathroom. The wind in my husband's & son's room caused the door to rattle, like someone was attempting to get in. The towel was short and no bath mat. We had 1 pillow each; I had to ask for more for my knees (which were given to me).

I booked this hotel mainly because of its close proximity to the airport, as I had a late flight. I was pleasantly surprised to find a very comfortable bed, a great shower, polite and helpful reception staff and even room attendants (I was traveling with several suitcases, and one girl from the room service staff kindly offered to help me carry a suitcase to the elevator). The room was spacious, well-insulated (I wasn’t disturbed by any noise from nearby rooms), and the car rental pick-up point was conveniently located right in the hotel’s parking lot. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone and would definitely stay here again myself.
The breakfast selection could be broader but everything offered was increadibly fresh and delicious, especially the bread.

Our room is a family suite, measuring 30 m² with two beds. The room is clean and simple, without a refrigerator or closet, but it does provide hangers. The shower room lacks a curtain, so even with gentle showering, water tends to splash everywhere. Additionally, there are no bathroom amenities provided, such as a shower cap, slippers, or cotton buds. The breakfast is basic but sufficient, offering items such as ham, cheese, coffee, sausage, fruit, yogurt, and bread. A nice feature is the sound alert that warns you if the door isn’t completely closed, which is very helpful. The best feature is the convenience of being just a 3-minute walk from the airport. However, if you're traveling during the winter months with large luggage, walking to the airport can be challenging due to icy small walkways and snow.

I stayed at this hotel because I had a 17-hour layover before my flight back to the U.S. and when tell you it was wonderful, I mean it. The staff was extremely kind and made us feel welcome. We even needed an adapter for our charger and they helped ensure we got one. The hotel is spotless and far more than I expected and the best part is that the hotel is a 6-minute walk from the arrivals, making the experience 10x more pleasant. I do plan to visit Iceland and when I do I will be staying at this hotel once again. I would suggest this hotel to anyone especially those who are doing any layovers in Iceland. I hope this honest review helps :)

The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk to the airport. We ate dinner at the hotel and breakfast was included in the price. Both meals were good. There is parking out the front of the hotel so it is easy to offload your luggage. There was no noise from the planes even though the hotel is right at the airport - you drive slightly up the departure lane to access the hotel. The wifi was very good. The reception staff were friendly. If you want to stay at the airport, this is as close as you can get.

The location is so convenient, literally 3 min walk to the terminal. Thank you for offering an early breakfast, starting from 4am. Our twin room had two large and comfy beds and view to the airport, which I enjoyed. Other than that, things were pretty standard, pretty blank room/bathroom, nothing special,.no extras ... which means it is severly overpriced, but thats unfortunately normal in Iceland. In other countries that sort of hotel room would be at least 100 Euros less. Restaurant and bar are ok, again nothing special but OK for one night, very expensive of course.
Overpriced for this very standard place.
