The motel-designed inn is an easy walk from downtown Berkeley Bart where there are plenty of places to eat or have coffee and a number of entertainment venues. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. ´There was a coffee machine in the room, but no bottled water for drinking. A dispensing machine for soft drinks in the parking lot existed, looked unreliable, but I didn't try it.

Breakfast was advertised as included but a sign said that renovation work meant no breakfast would be provided. No reduction in price for this despite being advertised.

I am a frequent stayer here, so staff knows me well. I always get treated great. I am accommodated when needed. Front desk has become like extended family, and I appreciate them very much!!!! The young gentleman and lady with pretty blue eyes are very nice to me.

Your cleaning lady Maria wasn't very nice when she came to my door this morning wanting to clean. I left the day prior for her to clean, she received my request from staff, and she didn't clean. I was gone all morning to go to work, and returned at 2 pm. Today at about 9 am, just waking up, she knocked continuously on my door. I answered. Her attitude was terrible. She insisted she was going to clean right then, not caring if it was an inconvenience to me. About five minutes later I left. She still didn't clean after an hour sitting outside in the cold. I told staff. Because staff went to her, She stopped cleaning other rooms to clean mine. Staff says she's had many complaints. I'm not sure what Maria is going through.

There is a Nation's Burger place to get breakfast, and coffee, across the street. Trader Joe's grocery store up the street. Near my job. The house keeping staff is always pleasant with me, and doesn't hesitate to help with towels, and toiletries. One house keeper took the time to help with my door card.

It would be nice if you offered muffin and juice to have something to go in the morning. But, it isn't a deal breaker for me. Probably shouldn't advertise breakfast. Not sure if it's the motel, or booking. com, that needs to update. Because I'm a regular guest, the fact that so much care is given by staff for a nice stay, I don't mind getting food near by.

The staff at the desk was very pleasant and helpful. Helped me open my room door, and told me about the breakfast and if I need anything call him.

The only thing I didn't like was not having a chair to sit. It's hard for me to stand when I get dressed. The bed is sort of high due to my height, don't get me wrong, the bed is fine, it's easier for me to sit in a chair and dress due to my disabilities. But overall, it was great!

The new ownership. I felt like I mattered. It was very clean and well operated .

They have renovation going on so you don’t expect everything to be perfect, but I’m pretty sure as soon as they’re done this will be a very great place to get away.

I didn’t eat breakfast at hotel. The location was great, close to a lot of things. Staff was awesome went over and beyond for my comfort ability! Thanks

One of those nights there was a bit of disturbance in the room next door! Other than that it was good

The staff was friendly and I am a disabled senior the room satisfied all of my need and when I practice my walking with my therapist in the parking lot it was clean as well it was real convenient to me also the night staff was helpful in making sure I had what I needed or if there was anything I want she will get it for me

Perfect location, quiet clean room.

There was no breakfast provided. Also, the mattress cover is so slippery, that the bed sheet is sliding every time you roll. Other than that, the bed was comfy

Their front desk gal who works the swing shift really goes above and beyond. She is so friendly, helpful and wonderful.

it wasn't necessarily a dislike, we just stayed in the carpeted rooms this time and prefer the ones without they seem even cleaner.

The manager, and house keeping staff is always kind, and helpful. They accommodate me whenever I need it.

No breakfast so take it off the booking site. I already know this. No big deal for me, maybe others who may not know. However, there is Trader Joe's grocery store, and Nation's Burger place across the street.
