The staff was so very friendly and accommodating; size of the room, location of the room to the elevators, Dove brand toiletries; and bed was moderately comfy.

Repair work that was still visible and not done very well in the shower; ac made it either freezing or really humid depending on how high or low it is set; bed was a bit too firm for my liking; lighting in the hallway is so bright and with all of the cracks around the door made it so bright in the room at night; and the shade in the room is setup that if one of the many stoppers on the chain catches in the gear, it will not adjust, and we were able to close the shades but not open them again.

The hotel was in a great location to the event I was attending. The room was clean and comfy. I requested foam pillows due to my allergies and was promptly accommodated. Both a hot and cold breakfast was available. The room's toilet was running and the AC unit leaked. I brought it to the front desk personnel and it was dealt with promptly, we were even offered the opportunity to move to another room. Everyone was very personable and friendly.

I loved the modernness of the hotel and the spaciousness of the room. Parking was ample. And the breakfast was good. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

I did not like or understand why the trash can liners were draped across each trash can versus actually put in place for use. It shouldn’t be for the guest to have to fiddle with the bag to put it in place. I expect that for the ice bucket but not for the trash cans. Also I thought the bed could have used a thicker piece of bedding. It felt like I just had two sheets on me when I would have appreciated something heavier. Final thing, whenever the AC cut off, it sounded like a door was opening, and it always made me glance over in alarm until I realized it was that.

Located right off the interstate, close to Buckroe Beach, and lots of restaurants and stores nearby. The staff was very nice and the room was modern and clean. Breakfast was decent with lots of choices.

The walls are a little thin, walking down the hallway, I could hear people talking in their room. Our room also had a dripping shower and the toilet ran all night. We didn’t report it because we got in late but it seemed like something they should already have been aware of. It didn’t keep me up, it was just annoying. Other than those things, we enjoyed our

I enjoyed my stay and I only eat breakfast once. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. The staff was very Hospitable and friendly. They made us feel welcome and very comfortable. The exceeded expectations!

I love the bathroom but the toilet was very low. I didn't expect the toilet to be that low and it was a little difficult to sit and get up. I could tell from my last visit that the update to the room was done but the carpet in the elevators need replacement. However, I enjoyed my start, and I will be staying at Holiday Inn Express on my next visit to Hampton, VA.

my particular situation made hotel policies kick in and i needed to call in a favor from a friend to cover the 15.00 incidental fee even tho i had cash on hand. I did NOT like or appreciate this, but the front desk guy "Austin" more then made up for the hotels BS policies after this was corrected. Ive stayed at holiday inn expresses all across the country its kinda been a thing for me. But this policy issue had me ready to boycott them all together. If not for Austin being the professional he is, this letter would have been much different

I love the pancakes and enjoy all the options. very clean and attentive employees. Also, appreciated the security of the hotel. felt safe. Plenty of outlets in room.

there was no butter for pancakes. hours could be later for the pool, since i didn't have tub in room would have liked the cold dip in there after a long festival day that didn't get us back until 11ish. wish there was more counter space.

The room was very clean and well maintained. Handicap shower was perfect, but the water pressure was low. Very good breakfast with fresh pancakes, eggs, meat, cereal, biscuits and gravy. The very best coffee (available 24/7)! The staff was super friendly, made us feel like family. Would highly recommend staying there.

The beds were a little high for a handicap-accessible room. Needed a second trash can for the room. No dresser for clothing.

The staff, except for the breakfast person, were friendly and courteous. I greeted the breakfast lady and, aside from not responding, gave me a dirty look!!! I don’t know if ahe understood “good morning “ or she may have been having a realy bad morning!

Great, central location. The breakfast was standard fare, but delicious. The room was clean and comfortable; the neighbors were quiet.

I wish I could have stayed longer than two nights, but of course, that was not the hotel's fault.
