We arrived on a festival weekend so it wasn't particularly cheap, but we loved our 2nt stay and were pleased we'd chosen Hotel Sol. Parked our car outside city walls by Tourist Info Centre as Hotel was only a 4-min walk inside walls, and so plsd we did that as access is narrow and restricted to residents only! We h9ad an excellent stay in room 104 on corner upstairs with balcony and three windows, allowing views over city to left and opposite leading up to Plaza Zocodover. Rm was spacious and clean with a good powerful shower, comfortable bed, aircon, and everything within walking distance, so location is perfect. As is often the case in Spanish hotels, there are no tea/coffee facilities but we had our own travel kettle, etc. Breakfast is a bit meagre at €4 for 2 pieces of toast with jam and coffee, but bar on corner walking up from Hotel Sol serves an excellent desayuno for €6.50 pp, inc coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Can totally recommend both!

Looked like it may have been redecorated fairly recently in a very tasteful/attractive way. Very friendly and helpful staff. Simple breakfast but not expensive, which was ideal for us as my partner doesn’t eat breakfast and I think this was the first of many hotels we’ve stayed in over the years where he could just have coffee without being charged the full breakfast rate.

The room was very clean and the location was great. My bed was very comfy and had plenty of pillows and cushions. The air conditioning was very good and also quiet.

I had a few issues with my keys deactivating. Unfortunately there was road construction outside during my stay that started at 6/7am every morning.

The staff were wonderfully helpful in making restaurant/food suggestions, providing a map, and helping to get a taxi back to the train station. Thanks, Anna, Jorge, and Rebecca! Location wise, the hotel being right next to the Puerta del Sol, meant easy access via bus from the train station (for 3 people with luggage, only about €6). No long walks with luggage. Yay! Once settled, we could wonder through the old city and explore.

No complaints, really. Maybe provide another pillow or two.

The stuff was nice, they speak English and are very friendly. Very clean. Close to the center.

Mattress was bad. We all felt like we were falling during the sleep. Walls are paper thin, you could hear everything, even neighbors talking.

it was in the middle of Toledo. Limited parking, but there was space available for us. We were happy about this place.

It was a little noisy in the morning outside of hotel. But it may be just occasional noise coming from the people living in the area. Otherwise, we had a great time there!

Ideal location for a base to explore Toledo. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. Room was comfortable as was the bed. Secure parking for our motorcycle was a bonus. Breakfast was very good value. All in all, a great success.

Nice room, pleasantly surprised that it was larger than expected. Spacious clean modern bathroom. Was very comfortable. Roof terrace was an added bonus.

Love Toledo, many good restaurant, historical building. Hotel Sol provide accommodation perfectly to explore the city on foot. Walking distance from the main bus station, city center.
