Super funky place and highly recommend. Great use of space and had everything needed for a short stay. Staff super friendly and the food at the GG superior.

The doors and windows could really be double glazed to remove some of the sound of the planes early in the morning. The curtains didn't quite cover the windows properly, and the glass in the shower is not big enough, so there's always a pool of water in the bathroom. Apart from these minor things, we will be back.

SO BEAUTIFULLY renovated; gorgeous colours and finishes, awesomely spacious bathroom and cleverly used space. Staff at check-in were very friendly and the food in the bistro was delicious and atmosphere just lovely. Very quiet too for somewhere above a pub. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Loved it!!

Shower screen could be longer to avoid a big puddle on the floor. Also aircon didn’t seem to be able to go over 23 degrees, which I found a little cold, but not a problem enough to get it checked out and potentially fixed, so that’s on me…

the room was vey large and all the amenities modern. The bed was very comfy and we were surprised that we had a balcony. We were close to Marrickville and all it has to offer and could walk to restaurants quite easily.

nothing really, we were on the flight path but that's got to be expected in that area. Noise was cut down with the balcony doors shut. VB on tap would have been nice but that's just my little joke.

*Potential guests should realize that this is not a full-service hotel. There is no front desk. There is no one to help you outside regular business hours. I needed to store my luggage, but there was no one to assist me and no facility for that service. It's definitely a place for self-sufficient travelers who don't require any extra assistance beyond check-in. And you better check in at the times they specify. If you understand these parameters, then you'll be fine.

Was in such a lovely and accessible location and beyond amazing for value with super friendly staff!! (even for the silly questions) so bummed we only stayed for one night, could’ve stayed for a month!

Dinner wise, the steak wasn’t the best. my friend and i agreed it was a bit too chewy and dry, every other part of the food and drink was exceptional!

The room was beautifully clean, the verandah was adorable, the bed was comfortable. The pub was stylised so well making it comfortable and a pleasure to stay there. The staff and Managers were so pleasant, even allowing us to store out suitcases in the office while we had appointments in the city to save carting them around. Very quiet room, could not hear the traffic outside of the trains at the station on other side of road

Just a little noisy when the airplanes start their flightpath above but you can't help that !!

The food in the restaurant was exceptional. It was close to where I needed to be. The staff were really helpful and the proprietor particularly so.

Trouble with the heating system marred my stay a little given that it was winter. Instant coffee instead of a proper coffee machine is always a minus for me but it too was adequate and there is a superb coffee shop close by.

Everything about the room was nice. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Having the restaurant, bar and bottle shop downstairs was also extremely convenient. Amazing food, fun drinks and good music. The staff were also super accommodating and lovely when we needed a place to stay last minute.

The neighbourhood is a little sketchy and there is no parking at the property. The TV also didn’t have an internet connection or streaming options.

It’s location! Walking distance to the local craft breweries. Over the road from train line to central Sydney. Quick ride to airport. The bar and restaurant serve good food and have member discounts.

I like the meals , value for money and the fact that everything is there to enjoy including private balconies, train station next door and proximity to airport, i will be staying there from here on in on all work meetings.

to be honest there is nothing I did not like everything is very clean professional and to me over all excellent experience. first class.
