Loved it!!! Loved the pool, the trees and flowers, the sofas on the terraces. The hosts are so lovely and helpful! Breakfast was good, WiFi strong. The value was really great. The street is quiet, especially at night, because it’s in a market street. the store sellers aren’t pushy so it’s ok to have to walk through a market on your way in and out. You reach the beautiful Kajeng rice fields in a short walk. So basically your location is central Ubud but by only walking north you feel like you’re out in the countryside away from the business.

Breakfast doesn’t start until 8 which is late for me personally. The bathrooms smelt a bit but everything was very clean: it’s just the nature of the plumbing here.

We always stay here and this time our room had new mattress and it was so comfy.The breakfast which is included is very good with a fruit plate/egg and toast or banana pancakes plus coffee.The pool is always clean and cool.We love staying at Rumah roda as we feel like part of the family and all the staff are amazing.It is quiet in the garden area but also located within walking distance to all the hype of crazy downtown Ubud.When it gets too much you can run home to Rumah Roda and escape the mayhem chillout on your balcony and relax with a drink.

The rooms were huge with a lovely balcony. Gardens were well kept. Location was amazing on a pedestrian walk with lots of little markets, warungs, laundry, cafes, mini mart. Close to ubud attractions temples, markets, rice terrace walk. If you're up early either stroll to the right for the rice terrace walk or left and left again to go to ubud markers to see all the local food sellers in action. Great central location for all the Ubud activities. We also had a great driver Dewa, recommend by the homestay.

Not much as we just wanted cheap and cheerful as a home based for activities and got so much more.

The family & staff is extraordinary friendly, I felt at home very quickly! I also liked the size and flair of the room and the balcony very much. The view from 2nd & 3rd floor is wonderful - you're in Ubud center but at the same time it feels like being somewhere in the outskirts because of the view into lots of greens and to the mountains. Also very short walking distance to a sort of pedestrian zone with nice shops and restaurants.

Some of the facilities could use a facelift (esp. in bathroom).

Comfortable places to lounge, staff went out of their way to be friendly and engage/ make recommendations. Basic but decent breakfast. Staff facilitated scooter rental for good price. Great location right in the art market (not car accessible but legit no more than a 2 min walk). Hot showers. Pool was nice and clean and drinking water was always available on every floor of the hotel. Kettle in the room was a nice touch, and staff provided coffee cups when we asked too. Overall very happy with our stay here

Would be nice to have earlier breakfast option. Would also be nice to have towels refreshed however, I’m sure we could have had them had we actually asked. Our other travel companions did ask and received pool towels as well. Bathrooms were pretty smelly.

The Room was nice. Beds are really comfy with mosquito nets. In font of the apartments and around swimming pool are beautiful flowers. There is also fridge in front of the room. We had family room with 2 big beds. Breakfast is fine, you will get fruit as appetizer, than you can select one drink (fresh juice or tea or coffee) and one main course (pancakes, omelet or scrambled eggs).Staff and owner are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They arranged us taxi from airport and to the Munduk for very good price (better than Gojek). Also helped us with renting the motorbike. Very big plus is a swimming pool for those very hot days now in December. I would definitely recommend it for two/three nights stay.

The bathroom needs renovation of the floor.

The owners and staff were all lovely. The location and price were great. The villa is very traditional and we really felt like we were experiencing the culture. Restaurant is simple but satisfying at great prices. The pool was cool and clean.

Construction was unfortunate timing. The mattress was past it's prime, I felt like I was going to roll off the side. It would be nice to have a better door locking function on the entrance door and a solid bathroom door (not glass).

Staff are friendly, respectful and obliging. My room was on the bottom floor facing the pool, which was pristine. Beautiful Balinese furniture on the outside deck, very authentic. Breakfast was ok. I stayed 6 nights. Very central to everything.

There was nothing not to like, except that I would have liked to have had a jug and facilities to get myself a drink when I wanted one. I was ill for the last 2 nights of my stay, I didn't realise that all I needed to do was to ask, and someone would have provided me with a jug and crockery/cutlery.

My friend and I are so so happy with our way too short stay at Rumah Roda! The location is perfect, in the middle of a very charming street in Ubud, and very close to nice things to see. The Homestay is full of soul, with very nice and clean rooms, and it is so nice that they also have extra facilities like delicious breakfast and a pool. Most importantly, all the people working at Rumah Roda are extremely nice, genuine, and warm. They help you all they can, and they are so pleasant to talk to and be around- which makes the stay at their Homestay one to remember. Highly recommend this Homestay to anyone! And

It is always enjoyable staying here in the purpose built guest section of the family compound. Guests are warmly welcomed and happily provided with useful tourist information when it is requested. Breakfast upstairs in the dining area is an ideal start to the day. The location is very central yet not far from great walks in the rice fields.

The formerly relatively quiet street outside has changed into a market street but fortunately, it has not impacted on the quietness of the compound and it is mainly foot traffic passing by.
