Premises was clean and well maintained, all facilities were perfect for trips like these.

Like most apartments in that area, accessibility is an issue but that is to be expected

We booked a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment for 3 people. The apartment was spacious and also had an in-unit washer/dryer which was really convenient. The location itself was good as well. Around a 10 minute drive to Hirafu, 7 minutes to Hilton Village, and about 30 minutes to Rusutsu. However, there isn't much available in walking distance (e.g. convenience stores, restaurants, etc.). There's a ski locker next to the reception and the rental companies were able to deliver / pickup directly to Snowdog. There are a handful of parking spots available - we didn't have any issues, but we were also there from Monday - Thursday. Note that to facilitate snow clearing, the front desk told us that we may be asked to move our cars sometime between 8 - 10 AM. Our group mostly left around 9 AM for the slopes and never ran into this.

The staff is simply the most helpful and the nicest. They will do anything to make your stay better, and know exactly how to make your life easier (they help with trains and bus bookings and timetables, arrange drop offs and pick ups from the bus stops and train stations, as well as from and to the ski lifts) The room is quite big and the bed comfortable, and the bathroom is great. Everything is also super clean. The room includes a dryer cleaner unit which is equiped with detergent free of charge, which was an unexpected but very much appreciated bonus

The location is a bit isolated from restaurants and party places, but its nothing a bus ride or taxi ride cant solve.

Concierge team picked us up from bus on arrival and dropped us at station to catch train on departure. They also dropped us and picked us up at the nearby chair lift each morning and gave great info on bus and train timetables. Apartment was awesome and really well equipped with dishwasher, washer and dryer etc and dish and washer powders/liquid. Shower was awesome, beds comfy, Netflix available and on site restaurant provided really great Japanese food and a great evening.

As it is a bit out of the way you do need to be on top of public transport or have your own car to make sure you don’t get stranded in the evening in Hirafu. Nearest grocery shopping is Hirafu. Second bedroom had compact bunks. Fine for our family but a group of adults might not have enjoyed sharing that room.

Really cute apartments & lovely attentive staff. Great for anyone looking to avoid the hustle & bustle of Hirafu. A little bit difficult to get to from Hirafu/Hanzono as buses are infrequent & taxis are quite expensive.

Snowdog village was one of the best apartments iv had the pleasure of staying in. The team was so helpful and happy all the time. The location is great! 5 mins walk to bus stop (staff will drop you to bus stop if requested and pick you up from bus stop even if you don't ask which was very nice) or 10 mins walk to the bottom gondola, which i did with my gear, and it was beautiful. I will be returning next year.

King bed was made with 2 single beds, which was a little comfortable if you rolled around.

The apartment was clean and well appointed like a home away from home, staff were extremely friendly with good service, the quietness of the area. We could see the difficulties of the location for travellers without their own transport or who love to stay in the action, but it was perfect for us.

Nothing it was great.

The staff was very friendly and had great communication. They picked us up and dropped us off at Hilton Niseko Village which is the nearest lift and places to eat (kinda limited and expensive). There is a restaurant (reservations required) and a tiny coffee/cafe next to Snow Dog Village but the hours of operation is very limited.

Far from the main area Grand Hirafu for shops, restaurants, groceries, etc if you have no car. The bus stop is about a 10 minute walk and the bus runs about every hour. It's ok if the weather isn't too bad. I would suggest to let guests know about packing or bringing food if they have no car Also to explain the bus systems a little better in detail. But I would stay here again. :)

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Price is also relatively good compare to other family accommodations in Niseko. The restaurant there for dinner is also very nice.

The location is just a bit off from anywhere although it’s walkable to the bus stops and one sku lift chair. There’s not even a convenient store nearby. There are also only 3-4 restaurants in walking distance.

Toshy, Kellie, Reed, Hitome, Moe and Meecha gave incredible service during our two week stay. Nothing was a problem and their willingness to help was such a breath of fresh air. Accommodation was great and in a good location. Can't fault anything. Great stuff guys. Look forward to seeing you again next year. Cheers Greg
