The room was spacious and well furnished and decorated tastefully. The bathroom was also large with walk in shower. The staff was friendly. They offered a basic breakfast with coffee, juices, muffins, etc. The entire hotel was upscale in decor and artworks. I was attending a conference held downtown and this was an affordable and satisfying alternative to the conference hotel.

The location is on the margins. Easy to reach from the metro but the district has seen better days. Few restaurants in te immediate area but only two blocks away from main hotel area.

The property was very unique, had a great vibe and was modern. I loved my room, it was a nice size and very clean. The location was great! The only downfall… the parking situation was terrible!!! I will admit, the parking garage we used was very secure and safe but it required you to walk out side a block away with your luggage.

The parking was a big issue, lots of spots around but was very inconvenient to find somewhere. The main entrance for the hotel is on the side street not the Main Street so you are required to walk around the block in order to get in from where you parked. There is no parking connected to the building.

Location location location was perfect, very clean, very quiet, very comfortable bed, friendly staff. Beautiful hotel, unique layout, lots of art, lots of space.

No microwave in the room but the one in the lobby sufficed. Limited coffee option in room, tea options would be nice. Pricey store. Breakfast was lacking but was fine being complementary. Could have used a loaf of bread instead of just bagels and maybe a waffle machine. A few basic fruit options like bananas, apples and oranges would also have been nice. Beautiful eating area and kitchen has so much untapped potential. Can’t wait to go back and see this hotel using all that it has to offer! ❤️

I found The Chambers to be a perfect location for a first time visitor to Minneapolis. Only 10ish-minute walk to Loring Park/Walker Art Institute OR the trail along the Mississippi. You are also close to Target Field/Target Center and a variety of theatres like The Dakota and First Avenue. It was a short walk to the LRT station (transit), which you can grab to/from the airport (only $2!). The hotel itself was very comfortable and never busy or overwhelming. The rooms very comfortable, particularly the heated bathroom floors and the big shower. Beyond that, you get a simple complimentary breakfast between 7-9am. The hotel also offers free bike rentals, which is a great way to see the city as the Grand Rounds trail and overall biking infrastructure in Minneapolis is excellent. Lastly, the staff was helpful and kind. Overall, just a perfect place to land.

Comfortable room with nice sofa, and a good size desk and Wi-Fi if you need to get work done. Comfortable bed. Easy to hook up your phone to listen to music or stream. Very clean. Friendly staff. I like the way the vintage building has been retrofitted, and the location near theaters is good. Parking garage is a little expensive but very convenient. You can also get there by train or bus.

It's too bad the restaurant isn't open these days. The buffet style breakfast was a thoughtful substitute for the time being. Clean and comfortable serving and seating area, convenient.

Excellent location. Nice to have a small refrigerator and an Illy espresso maker. Warming tiles in bath are a bonus.

Did not appreciate having to go to desk for ice. Telephone in room didn't work at all, thus could not even call for it. Though the breakfast was complimentary, it was rather underwhelming. We are aware that it would require more staff, but a selection of cold cereals and muffins plus microwaveable breakfast sandwiches is less than we have often been offered at much lesser accommodations.

The room was very big and very comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful. The location was very convenient to reach the Minneapolis convention center by foot.

When I arrived, I found out that in addition to the cost of the room I had to pre-pay 75$ per day in case of damages. This amount gets returned at the end of the stay, but considering that it is a quite large amount in addition to the cost of the room, I think the hotel should inform about it at the time of booking.

The location is great for what we wanted to do and we were in walking distance to some great restaurants and bars. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and comfortable. The room had some of the better pillows at hotels too which made for a better nights sleep. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating.

The breakfast on the weekend was nice to have but it was just too sugary. Would like to see some healthier options. It looked like there were some nice outdoor amenities but they were closed. It would have been nice to use those.

The room was amazing, we were upgraded to a studio and it was perfect for our two-night stay. Clean and comfortable with a great view of the theatre district.

Lack of basic amenities (microwave in the room). The breakfast was what I would expect from Econolodge, not from a downtown $ 250-a-night Mpls hotel. Microwave Sandwiches and bowl cereal packs (no milk), bottled OJ, and nothing else - was kind of sad. Even the microwave in the breakfast area didn't work, so you had to use the one by check-in. Yeah, they lost the attached restaurant, but really? Three doors to get into the hotel, but only one worked. The two on Hennepin were locked down. The one on 9th, is supposed to be secure but cable ties on the door so it doesn't lock? This is downtown MPL, how secure is that for guests? They missed so many little things, like basic needs and security.

I had a nice and comfortable suite (Genius upgrade) for two nights. The suite was quite spacious and modern. The hotel is located centrally downtown in Minneapolis. There are a lot of bars and restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly. The price was good.

Unfortunately, my credit card has been incorrectly charged which was unnecessary. Additionally the breakfast was quite basic in terms of quality and variety. A bar or restaurant in the hotel would be nice in order to socialize with other guests.
