I had a great stay. I would stay there again. Incredibly convenient location. My room was clean and private. The bed was alright (I slept on the comforter to make it a little softer for my preference). My room was warm (in December) and spacious. It was in the basement. It didn't have a window, but had a convenient sink and desk in room. The shared bathroom was clean. The shower was fine and located one level up. Not a problem. My room decor was dated, but I didn't mind. For the price it's fine. People need to be realistic about what they are paying for. What I paid for a private room and a 12 minute walk from Covent Garden was a great deal.

Room was clean and obviously well kept. Concierge was absoloutely wonderful. The 24hr service was really helpful. We had two big statement windows that looked out onto the Museum. It was perfect for a short stay near all the sights. The en-suite was clean and neat with a shower, and extractor fan and a toiletries bin.

The gaudy orange statement wall. There needs to be more basic maitenence but the building is old - so it's charming in a certain light (if you can discount the roaring of the extractor fan in the bathrrom and the dubious amount of plug-sockets). The bed is good for short stays and those without back problems.

Amazing location for the price. When the receptionist saw my partners white stick (he's partially sighted) she immediately put us in a room on the ground floor so we didn't have to negotiate the stairs. The accommodation was fairly basic but that was to be expected considering the location and price. We stayed 8 nights and the room was serviced three times during our stay. Will definitely book again.

Didn't like the fact that cigarette butts were continually being thrown down outside the window from rooms above and the smoke wafted in, maybe a stricter no smoking policy would be nice but probably difficult to manage. There are no tea and coffee facilities in the room, I guess that would impact on the price, but a quick Amazon order soon sorted that out.

The staff were great and the location is perfect for Covent gardens ,brittish museum etc .

ok the price was excellent, but the facilities are very tied, but for me they did exactly what I needed,somewhere to sleep. if your fussy about how pretty it looks it's not for you, but if you want value and location and can get past the tiredness of the decor etc ,perfect

Accessible in all nearest Landmarks of London. Aside from reasonable price of this Hotel. The staff are all accommodating and respectful.

The heating of their annexed is hard to control. Need some maintenance on that part. But reassured the staff will do their best to make you feel comfortable. They will guide you for other alternative rooms that suited for your needs.

The staff were very helpful and generous. I used a luggage service for the first time and the staff was very communicative with me regarding the service, The location and wifi were perfect for my needs. The lobby decor was BBC funky. I loved the view from my room.

This property feels like it has been neglected by its owner. The bathroom in my room was dark and damp and the built in desk was falling apart.

Simple, clean, comfortable, affordable room in a very central London location. For what I paid I was expecting worse, so was a pleasant surprise.

I paid for late checkout to sleep in, & apparently that didn't filter through to the morning guy as I got a knock on the door anyway. Not the end of the world but not ideal.

The receptionists are nice and they are operating fast. The tv set was ok, having many tv channels. The room and the bath was clean enough. But the best feature is the placement near British Museum, less than one hour of walk to almost all the London top attractions either Westminster, The Tower, The Eye, s.o.

It would be room for much more cleaning the dust, washing the windows, fixing the unstable water temperature, and maybe some renovation.

Cannot believe the value for money for the location of the room! Central London, we walked to everywhere we wanted to visit without needing to use the tube! I was a bit sceptical after reading previous reviews, however the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were lovely! We will be definitely booking here next time we come to London!

The only down side for me and it's only minor was there was no kettle and no glasses to have a glass of water, however because of the location and the money you save without having to get the tube, I didn't mind buying a cup of tea in the morning!

No sound proofing, could here other guests talking Was fantastic room.was warm but a little too warm There was a kettle but no mugs or coffee and milk We had to go up a lot of stairs to our room Didn't like having to press buzzer to be let in the building each time The beds were low down and quite small ( twin room )
