it's dorm stay, clean and for the price, don't expect hotel services but it's very worth for the location if want to stay in city centre. literally minutes of walk to many places. 5 mins walk to British museum, 10 mins to covent garden which then lead to leceister square etc. Oxford Street, Trafalgar square. many theatres are within walking distances (Shaftesbury theatre is right across the road). no ensuite bathrooms, shared toilet is very small so advised to bring less or a bag to hold clothes so can hang on the hook. no aircon and if you happen to go in a hot week like me, it's hard to stay in the room during daytime but usually we are out all day. at night, you can use a mini fan provided. there's a shared kitchen with good equipments - kettle, oven, microwave, fridge. the free breakfast is my favourite meal of the day with varieties of yogurts, fruits, jam, bread and pastries, ham and cheese, cereals, coffee and tea. they even have oat and almond milk options. accessible from Heathrow via Elizabeth line or Picaddily line. 5 mins walk to Tottenham Court Station and Holborn station.

I don't like the shared small toilets and no aircon but I will choose this place again in my next travel for the plus points.

Excellent location, both to the Tube/transportation and the theatre district. The breakfast was okay, but not as good as other LSE locations, where hot food choices are included.

The mattresses were not comfortable. We originally had no hot water in the room sink, but when turned in, someone came to fix it very quickly … after that, the water was almost boiling. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Water in the showers was a mess - all ceiling mounts so impossible to keep from getting hair wet “every time.” Pressure was fair but shower heads mostly clogged so thin, hard, stream … also water standing in floor most of the time. Biggest problem is the noise (inside, not out). Every door slams, and even when you try hard, it’s difficult to keep them from making a loud noise. In our area, we were the only ones trying, so it was slam, slam, slam every time someone went in/out of their rooms, toilets, or shower rooms, including middle of the night.

Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff on reception, even late at night. Clean and comfortable room. Decent wifi. Shared showers but appreciated the sink/mirror in room. Great option for one-night solo stay.

Minimal soundproofing + noisy guests in opposite room. There seemed to be a problem with the size of the sink/power of water flow from taps in the tiny toilet cubicle, because there was water all over the floor each time I used it. Also, sadly, didn't get to experience the breakfast (which seems to get excellent reviews!) because the queue to even get into the breakfast room was ridiculously long and I had a train to catch. All relatively minor issues, though, and I would definitely stay again as it was good value for money and the location really was ideal. Next time will arrange schedule to allow for breakfast queue!

The location is great, close to everything in High Holborn area & only 5-min walk to the British museum. The breakfast is very extensive, especially good value-for-money given the price you paid. The room is relatively spacious, with many plug possibility, own sink, and surprisingly quiet at night even though it is very central. The shared bathroom and toilet (you only share with max 2-3 other travellers) are very clean.

The air ventilation in the room and the shared corridor could be better, it's not possible to open the room windows completely.

The breakfast was amazing! The location brilliant. Unfortunately because I had booked my two nights separately via booking.com and my messages regarding the booking were not registered it appeared I would have to check out and in again to two different rooms. However, a kind member of reception staff managed to sort out the problem and I kept the same room.

I found the automatic turn off of the tap and lack of a plug in the bedroom washbasin irritating although I am well aware of the need to save water. It made washing and cleaning teeth in my bedroom difficult.

Excellent location, excellent value for money, we will be back.

The bathroom was not so convenient, but it is a detail.

Kindness of staff. Superb location. Reasonable price.

I expected that HH would have the traditional full English breakfast that other LSE halls I've used have had. I didn't think to ask. Every year I look forward to this great contribution to Western Civilization. One man on the kitchen staff said every once in a while people mentioned this, and he said he'd bring it up again. Here's my vote: PLEASE OFFER A FULL ENGLISH (COOKED) BREAKFAST.

The kitchen was fully functional and shower had great power and warm. The floors are sectioned off so it felt safe and the kitchen and shower and bedrooms were all together closeby, didn’t have to walk to a different floor for the shared facilities. There was also a sink in the bedroom so it was very convenient. The continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise, so much variety of fruits and pastries!

My bed was comfy and sturdy, but my daughter’s was like a spare bed and it hurt her back. Wished the breakfast could have been at 7 am.

Breakfast was in good quality and quantity, regularly restocked. The location was perfect, staff were friendly, the facilities were clean, the free wifi worked well, and the room suited my needs rather well. It was just what I wanted for my little time away in London, and I would absolutely stay there again.

There were a few times when my pass wouldn't work on the door to my apartment block. Also, the mattress could have been comfier.

Breakfast was very organized with healthy options. The room was cozy and the bed was comfortable. Good closet space for those staying a week or more. The cleaners cleaned the room every other day. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the week.

Some facilities were questionable. The bathroom and showers were a bit on the small side and the flush didn't always work fully, but they were always cleaned daily. The water didn't taste the greatest. Air conditioning could have been helpful, but it was unusually hot this week in the country. The fan provided worked well but was a bit dusty.
