Location was great, room was spacious, some staff were very helpful. The town is high up a windy road and the internet service does cut in and out. The owner(?) had installed satellite internet and when the internet cut out while we were there he went to great lengths to make sure service continued uninterrupted. Note that the old part of town is several hundred years old and so the buildings don’t have glass windows, only wooden shutters.
The woman who was at reception when we arrived was not particularly helpful….. At the time we were staying there, they were building extra rooms and so the place was a bit of a construction zone. The picture posted of the front of the hotel indicates a restaurant on site…note there is no restaurant, but they do provide coffee in the morning.

A charming little hotel in the charming town of San Sebastian del Oeste. Min was an friendly and helpful host. I honestly think that the experience was even better than I was expecting from other reviews. Our room had a king-size bed and a balcony with cute little wooden tables and 2 chairs. All of the windows in our room had wooden shutters. We could see the top of la bufa from our room (from the window facing the courtyard). We were able to park our motorcycle inside the courtyard so didn't have to be concerned about street parking.
Nothing! It was great.

Nice location and priced at $990 mxn per night in late December. We came after sunset and left before sunrise so really just needed somewhere quiet and clean to sleep, which we found here. The hotel allowed us a late check-in. Not much noise other than street traffic from quads and motorbikes.
The window isn't screened, so we closed the shutters once we settled and setup a bug net over the bed to keep moths and other insects out of our way. I always recommend installing window screens to hotels like this, a simple adjustment that helps keep both you and the bugs happy. Room was fairly clean but not perfect, the floor was in need of a sweep for sand or dirt.

The location was great, and the staff made me feel welcome
Street parking., when I arrived everything was quite congested. Once all the day travelers left I was able to move my car closer.

the owner was very acomadating and saw to all our needs. the square is a few steps away along with a little restaurant. our first impression from the outside was not good but quickly faded to that of delightful and charming
we’re on the older side so the stair we’re a bit hazardous.

I liked everything during my 6night stay and plan on going back ASAP
The hotel is very very nice. But the owner manager Mim is the very best. Whatever you want or need,he is there. I think Mim will go out of his way to make sure you are taken care of. He is very friendly makes sure you have everything you need. Plus he is extremely knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. If you can get a room there you will very satisfied. Mim gets a big thumbs up from me and I hope to return in the near future. Thanks Mim.

The price was right. Accommodations were simple but clean and great for a quick weekend. I loved having the windows open and listening to the neighborhood roosters, church bells and a neighbor playing super sad Mexican ballads one afternoon. Perfectly relaxing.

The historical beauty of the hotel over 400 years of history. The architecture and feel of the rooms is very authentic.
