The location was great, we walked everywhere! The pool, private beach, bar and restaurant was awesome!! Staff was amazing!

The staff was incredible! Annie and the front desk team, Stacey in Concierge, Fritz in Valet, Tim in the restaurant and Stephanie at the Pool were all outstanding, exceedingly helpful and professional. What a great team at The Reach.

Elevator was out most of the time we were there, but they moved us to a lower floor to help with steps and distance. Outstanding service in what could have been a tough situation!

The accommodation was perfect, close to Duval Street. The hotel is very charming, has private access to the beach and a good size pool. The hotel staff is nice and helpful. The rooms are big and spacious. I liked that while staying at the pool, a staff member passes by and hands out cold water or a cold snack. Really cute.

Unfortunately more than once we had to ask for the room to be cleaned. Elevators didn't work. We were promised a $200 refund for not tidying the room. We didn't get them. The menu in the restaurant was very limited. The hotel bar closes very early. The air conditioner in the room is very noisy and above the bed which frees you up. Parking costs a lot when it's part of the hotel and on the face of it seems unnecessary to demand. It is better if they include the parking in the room rate and give the feeling that the parking is free.

Location is great! Right next to the southern most point. Beautiful beachfront with great ocean views. Nice bathrooms with great amenities. Walking distance to Duval street.

Our room had some ants, but being that close to the water, it isn't out of the ordinary. The restaurant on side was ok for breakfast, but a tad overpriced.

The location to the tourist area of the town was convenient while at the same time offering a beach front access.

Upon Check In I encountered a faulty Air Conditioner system. Although they promptly had a repair man come up and swap the unit out- My room was uncomfortable climate wise for my first 3 hours of my visit. At what amounted to $1000 a night; that’s not a very hospitable way to greet a New Customer! Also had an incident with some very tiny ants that got attracted to some M&M’s I had bought. They were so small that I didn’t see them immediately but they apparently got me good all over my right forearm and I still have sores a week later.

Breakfast was great. The statues and sand castles were marvelous.

The elevator worked only 20% of the time. 1 day out of 5 and we had a 4 floor room. The resort didn’t seem to have accommodations inside the building for handicapped persons.

minor issue but annoying, the direct tv service kept loosing signal like every few minutes for the entire time we were there. we complained but housewife issue I know checkins are after 4pm and we got in at 1130 so we were hoping to maybe checkin a little earlier. I know checkouts need to be cleaned but during our stay every time we went in and out of our rooms we passed housekeeping and almost every time they were leaning on the rail next to their carts talking on the phone. should think about holding them accountable to turn around times on rooms.

The location was excellent, close enough to everything but not right in the middle of it all. The beach and pier were beautiful. Staff arranged and set up chairs and umbrella; waitress (Stephanie) worked her tail off to make sure you had all the food/drinks you wanted. The concierge was helpful in reserving tables at restaurants. Rooms were nice and clean, as was the entire property.

Excellent-the grounds, the service, the staff (everyone was sooo friendly and helpful!) the location, the room, the food. Good-the beach.

Could use improvement-the pool is very old, the elevator was broken, our bathroom sink had a very loud leak, housekeeping stopped by once during our 4 night stay. The “daily hotel charge” ($55 per day) covers all the things that should be included in the price of your stay.
