Great appartment, everything is so new and very clean, well-equipped with all amenitites. The hotel owners and personnel are very friendly and are ready to help. Good breakfast for 5 Euro per person only.

The appartment was in another building, it is actually not a part of the hotel. You have to walk out and go further down the street for about 5 minutes to find the appartment in a simple house. And this disctrict of the city is not a very good one, streets are full of immigrants from different countires, I didn't feel safe when we returned to this house in the evening.

Before arriving at Lizard, we visited stayed in Mestre at a 4* hotel…but we liked Lizard more 😄 Yes, it is not fancy. But it is very cozy, with a warm atmosphere. The staff is great, the room was clean and even if we did not had a big room, we felt perfectly fine. We did not missed anything. The location was also good: 15 min walking distance to the old town, 30 min walking distance to the train station.

The refrigerator from the room was a little bit loud if you have a light sleep. We solved it by not using it😄 Other the this, nothing to comment.

Breakfast was lovely, yogurts, coffee, baked goods and fresh fruit to get you started for the day. Location was great very easy to get to and from places. Staff were absolutely lovely and the room was very comfortable and a great size.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room clean and facility itself was easy to get too. Only a few min walk to the old town Como and all the other tourist attractions.

I really can not think of a problem. When I was at the hotel , everything went smoothly and didn't have any problems.

My original booking got cancelled as the host could not accommodate us. This was a replacement found for us by booking.com. I was a bit nervous as the place was further away from the lake and we had to away from the old city to get here. But wow, the friendliest receptionist I could ever imagine. She went out of her way to offer us our own personal bikes to use. We were greeted with a large room with very comfy beds and everything spic and span. The dining room for breakfast was huge and had this old Italian stone vibe. Plus there are a couple of guitars that I could just play/practice on. This place made my day.

I did not like interacting with booking.com customer service. They still don't know how to write emails. There are a couple of comments about this being in a shady neighborhood. It's not really shady, there are a couple of halal meat shops around the corner. If you have a problem with Muslims, that's on you. ^_^

Nice personnel, happy to suggest activities, and a good continental breakfast included. Big room with all you need, 15 Min walk to town.

Little privacy between rooms, we only had one door between our room and the neighbours and could hear every word they spoke. A bit further out, in a little bit of a less affluent area of Como

Our experience with the host was exceptional. They consistently went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at ease throughout our stay. Their prompt and attentive assistance was greatly appreciated and made our trip all the more enjoyable.

The hotel is perfectly located, specially if you’re going to Como by car: it’s just outside the ZTL, a 10 min walk from the city centre and 20 min from the lake, and it has its own parking. The room was big and comfortable, and staff was lovely!

Excellent location in the very heart of the old town of Como. The owners are very nice and we enjoyed a really delicious home-cooked supper. All in all a very enjoyable stay. Parking available in the private yard. Breakfast is rich and was included in the price.
