A very nice hotel in a safe area, across Finsbury Park. I had a one person room which was big enough, with a teabar and big fan. The bathroom was small, but had a very good water pressure in the shower. I was very happy this hotel had an elevator as well. I didn't include breakfast during my stay. Staff was extremely helpful and nice. They even handed me an international plug as I forgot mine! Manor House underground was a 5min walk, but Finsbury Park was a good 10min walk away and wasn't nice to walk with a suitcase. I recommend going from Manor House with suitcases even though it doesn't have an elevator, because the roadwork is way better towards the hotel and you don't have to walk up the hill.

Everything in the bathroom was crooked and my stuff kept falling off the sink and table. I kept sliding in the shower for the same reason haha, but it didn't bother me too much. The beds weren't very comfortable as I could feel the springs and it was nice of them to provide earplugs, because the road next to the hotel makes a lot of noises during the night, this made sure I didn't sleep more than 5/6 hours a day. I couldn't hear the neighbours though, so the room was very soundproof. They were busy getting aircon installed. My room already had it, but it wasn't working yet, which was very unfortunate with 32 degrees. But it's good to know it will work with a next stay!

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful upon arrival, arranging the parking was very straightforward and it was just to the rear of the hotel. The room was clean and had everything needed. Location was a short walk (about 8 minutes) down to the restaurants, bars and bus/tube station. Lidl was very handy! And because the area is quite bustling we felt okay to walk about. Found a nice little Mexican restaurant called Primos which is worth a visit. The hotel is right across the road from Finsbury Park which was quite pleasant. All in all, it was right for what we needed - a base to go out and explore from.

With its location on a main road (and our room being at the front of the hotel) you could hear the traffic. The hotel did provide ear plugs as a courtesy in the room which was a thoughtful touch. I take my own earplugs everywhere anyway so I wasn't too bothered. But those who are light sleepers may want to request a room at the rear of the hotel. Essentially for the price and location I was happy with my stay.

Excellent location 500m from finsbury park underground station. From there it's an easy commute into central London or Alexander palace which i attended for an event. Right opposite finsbury park itself so was very handy for the Saturday parkrun. Also very close to emirates stadium. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good too We arrived around 11am on a Friday morning and a room was available for us to check into so that was excellent The double room was small, very small for 2 adults but for all the time we spent in the room it sufficed

Bigger room preferably with a view to the park and not the carpark

This was a single overnight stay. The room was comfortable with the usual en suite, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Generally, the room was clean but was quite dusty in some of the harder to reach places. All of the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Our booking was expected. There was some noise from other residents and banging doors etc. but generally the hotel was quiet and restful. Although on the busy Seven Sisters Road, it is opposite Finsbury Park and conveniently situated a short walk from Manor House tube station. Self-service buffet breakfast was good.

Breakfast sausages were undercooked otherwise no complaints. Thank you to everyone.

The hotel is located in a residential neighborhood, 5 minutes walking distance from the Manor House tube station and 2 minutes from a bus station. You can find some supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The attention at check-in was excellent. Many thanks to Andrea, Bobby and other staff members.

The hotel could consider putting in microwaves for those guests who want to heat up some food at night either in each of the rooms or in the lobby. It would also be excellent to have mini refrigerators in the rooms.

Clean, comfortable room. Serviced daily. Housekeeping staff were really friendly. Very good location, there are busses to most areas from just outside the hotel and both Finsbury Park station and Manor House station are only a 5 minute walk away. The hotel has easily accessible parking at the rear of the property and is a very reasonable price for overnight.

The breakfast is very basic and doesn't seem very fresh. It seemed a bit overpriced for what you could get. The front desk staff we not particularly friendly, however, they were courteous.

The staff here are more-or-less all lovely, reception staff in particular deserve a shout-out - very friendly, warm, go the extra mile. The room was very comfortable (the view this time was of a quiet residential road, perfectly fine but not really a view; last time I visited the view from my room was of the park, which was lovely). The Wifi is good (other chains who will remain nameless offer terrible Wifi, in my experience, and I was working in my room so this was important). Self-service breakfast was perfectly fine - selection of cereals and cold cuts, hot cooked breakfast available too.

For the price, there's really not much to add - there was nothing I didn't like, it's a well-run budget hotel that's a good base for London exploring (the Tube is 8 mins' walk; the 29 bus to Trafalgar Square goes from right outside the hotel), rather than a resort hotel where you hang out in your robe all day. The Finsbury Park area itself feels a tad edgy after dark, but it's got so much character and personality. Lots of pubs and bars, and live music venues too.

We stayed 5 nights and found our room very clean and comfortable as did our sister and brother in law who also were with us. The staff were friendly and welcoming and had no problems with storing our luggage which was stored in a secure area until we were able to check in. The room had tea, coffee and a kettle available. Bathroom was very clean and had liquid soap for showering. The bed was so comfortable, very cosy and had the best sleep considering I don't sleep well. Good location as far as the underground tube goes, Manor House to the right and Finsbury Park to the left, about 10-15 minute walk. Finsbury Park also opposite hotel for walking or kids to run around. Overall a good stay and staff were exceptional with helping out sister in law as brother in law spent time in hospital as we went our separate ways, so a huge thankyou for going out of your way to assist them, much appreciated 😊

Can't really criticise much as everything was great, only thing is that although room was very comfortable the rooms are small if you have 3 cases, not much room to store. Only other thing is there is no fridge to be able to store anything cold, my own fault didn't read facilities properly and just assumed they had a fridge but we got by.

It's a nice and conveniently located hotel with friendly and helpful staff. It's possible to store luggage before and after check out without a fee. The rooms are available by lift but for travelers with special mobility needs my advise would be, to contact the hotel before booking. It's an old building and the halls are narrow. The room with one bed and the bathroom were clean and the additional breakfast had a good quality. Even if my room wasn't large, it was enough for my five days stay. Because it was directed to the backyard it was also quiet and I didn't hear any noises by other guests. Considering the location in London between the stations Finsbury Park (National Rail, Underground with direct connection the Heathrow) and Manor House the price is affordable. The City of London and many famous tourist attractions are reachable in 20 to 30 minutes by either the Victoria or Piccadilly line from Finsbury Park or by bus from a bus stop two houses away. I can highly recommand it for a stay, if you are travel to London and don't plan staying the majority of the day in the hotel. On the other side of the road is a large park and down the street in the direction of Finsbury Park Station are supermarkets and a post office. It was a perfect fit for my needs during my stay.

The furniture in my room has seen better days. Overall it's okay and it didn't bother or affected me in any way. In fact, it was my second stay in that room.

LOCATION FOR OUR TRIP WAS Perfect for our trip Near to transport Clean reception area Reception staff helpful and friendly

Shelf in bathroom (was the same in a different room when we stayed last time) might as well be removed, bad location and unsecured. Needs removing, relocation and sturdier for bathroom use. Room look tired, scorched carpet could do with replacing (was very clean tho’) Lady in the breakfast room needs to smile more, her customer service needs refreshing.
