The property quality, facilities and room were excellent and the location is outstanding in the middle of Islington close to numerous cafes and restaurants. About 15 minutes walk to either Angel or Highbury-Islington Underground stations and 5 minutes walk to the bus stops for numerous routes. Very good value for money

We were booked to stay for 25 nights. The receptionist demanded payment in advance for the full 25 days as we checked in but confirmed that we could shorten our stay by giving two days notice. I declined and paid for a week in advance and said that I would pay periodically after that. Quite frankly we were alarmed at the treatment upon arrival and wondered if we wanted to commit to the full 25 days. We were harassed on a number of occasions by reception staff asking for payment and notices demanding payment sent to our room. The reception staff, who were mainly respectful and helpful said that they were following specific instructions from their corporate office.

I've stayed here before and I love this hotel. Very large rooms, very comfortable beds, very well-equipped kitchen. The hotel is off the high street between Angel and Islington and it is a very quiet, calm area, great place to relax in your room. Very near all the cafes, bars, restaurants of the area. I left an item in my room and, after contacted me, they sent it to me home by registered mail! Amazing!

It must be said: it is very expensive! I know it's London, I know it's Islington, I know that, after Covid-19, prices soared in hospitality and they stayed that high, but I also think we need to raise this and protest rather than take it as a given. Please note it's a 10-min walk from either Angel station or Islington station. Not ideal if you have heavy luggage. Also - guys, please consider including some classier kind of instant coffee than Nescafe sachets in your rooms! For a hotel and pricing of this rate, you can do better than that!

Breakfast 10/10 the selection was amazing and the seating area was really relaxing. The decor throughout the hotel matched and gave a really upmarket feel. The staff were lovely- I came the day before as I was getting married and they were very helpful to the photographer and makeup artist. Miriam was especially lovely and welcoming with a smile and it was greatly appreciated that she upgraded me. Rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean especially the fridge which can often be missed! Also the best 2 nights sleep I've had in ages and my 7 month old was with me. The location is also good as there's so much nearby

Great central location within Islington, with the added benefit of lots of great local amenities. The breakfast was well presented with a good variety of choice to suit a variety of ages and tastes. Upon arrival we were notified of a marginal room upgrade which was greatly received, and apartments were spacious, clean and nicely decorated, also very comfortable beds made for a great nights rest. Good variety of appliances within self contained kitchen and throughout apartment. A simple and easy check-in/check-out.

Some more options for vegetarian/vegan and gluten free diets as standard would have been preferable to see, sometimes staff were a little busy around breakfast close by to the area of self service, becoming a little obstructive when getting breakfast, but this was certainly a minor thing of concern.

Wonderful rooms, we stayed at the studio and the space was bigger than the average we've seen in London. It was all very clean and had almost everything you need in the kitchen if you choose to cook (including a washing machine with tablets provided by the hotel, so you don't have to worry about cleaning the dishes while on vacation). There is tea and coffee available in the room. If you don't want to cook, the area is amazing because it's full of restaurants and even supermarkets were you can grab & go. You have 2 metro station (Highbury & Islington and Angel) that connect you to almost everywhere in London, so this was also a plus. It's a very safe neighborhood, we enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was also very kind and helpful.

The breakfast is ok, but the area is quite small for the amount of guests staying at the hotel and sometimes gets a bit crowded. It could be useful to include a frying pan in the kitchen of the apartment.

Clean, spacious and well equipt room with a comfortable bed and nice views over the Japanese inspired courtyard.

The shower was a bit low budget compared to the rest of the room. Would have been nice to have a powerful fixed overhead shower option as well as the standard flexible hose. The shower door leaked so the floor was soaking wet on getting out. Not major but again not up to the standard of the rest of the room. We did have some dusruptive noise from the floor above us at around 2-3am. Sounded like guests arriving and unpacking which was annoying but we still got a decent nights sleep after that..

Clean and organised well connected, loads of restaurants around, easy check in, great customer service, easy check out.

For a vegetarian like me, choices were limited in the breakfast. The room was excellent, very spacious, very well equipped. The highlight was the staff who were extremely courteous and friendly and were always willing to help with a smile and respond to all our needs. We had a great one week stay there and really enjoyed it. It was unlike the typical London hotel rooms. The location was great too. Kings Cross was only 15 mins by bus. And the bus stop was just a 2 min walk. The room and facilities were exactly as they appeared on the booking.com and hotel website.

The property was an excellent location for us locally, the suite was really roomy. The bed was very comfortable and having chrome cast was great. Staff were polite and friendly.

The couch in the room had many obvious stains. It would have been nice to have hand wash in the bathroom or kitchen sink, rather than just a soap bar.

The location was excellent - we were going to the Almeida Theatre round the corner from Citadines Islington for one night and we had travelled a long way. We could relax and enjoy our stay. The standard of cleanliness was outstanding - please thank the people who clean for you. Very comfortable and well equipped to a very high standard. I also really appreciated that we could control the heating in each room and that we could open windows for fresh air. The staff we met were all helpful. Outstanding all round.
