Had the best time staying here! View from our room was amazing we could leave the balcony door open and hear the waves crashing as we slept. Was lovely! Swimming pool was lovely too! Food was gorgeous.
If I could critique at all I’d say the shampoo and conditioner / shower gel in the bathrooms is of really poor quality. It left my hair feeling damaged after using it. I forgot to bring my own because the last hotel I stayed at the one they provided was actually so good I just thought everyone had upped their standards (considering the cost of rooms these days for one night)

From the reception staff, upon arrival until checking out, the cleaning staff, the waiting staff, and bar staff were all so efficient, helpful, and friendly. The venue for the wedding was just beautiful, as was the pre dinner environment A special mention to Cillian and Eimear, who served our table at the wedding, they were so attentive and good humoured. The food at the wedding was served efficiently, and was pipping hot and very tasty. The room was very comfortable and exceptionally clean.

Omg the view. The view was amazing. Two more steps and my bed would’ve been in the lough. The shower was lovely and the bed was comfortable. I loved havi g the coffee machine too.
It was a little cold in the room. The radiator was not on. In the pool there was an early-mid teens girl with a mass of curly long hair, not wearing a swimming cap. Her mother was taking pictures and making videos. The Yong girl was also going k to the steam room. Breakfast was just ok: nothing special. As a vegetarian there was even less choice for me, but I didn’t ask so maybe the options were there. The coffee was really bitter 🙄

The hotel is beautiful , Reali enjoyed our stay, room was perfect with stunning sea views, the weather was luvly so we were able to take our drinks outside and enjoy the views on the patio furniture .. bar staff were v pleasant and we enjoyed the banter with them esp the 2 young bartenders at close time
The receptionist when we checked in was very abrupt to the point of being ignorant, we got uncomfortable, she gave the impression we weren’t welcome and the next morning when we checked out, she was on duty again and had the same ignorant attitude.. this unfortunately would put us of returning to the hotel .. front of house staff should be pleasant and welcoming and this lady certainly wasn’t either..

Redcastle is a very pleasant hotel with a lovely sea view from the bar/restaurant. The staff were very helpful, particularly the young Libyan man working in the restaurant (sorry I can't remember his name).

Comfy beds, decent location. Staff was friendly. Good breakfast. they had 2 options for dinner. The spa was nice, great massage.
My husband didn't like the dinner menu. To use the pool they required you to purchase a swim cap and use it! Crazy! I've never seen that requirement before, very disappointing. There's no shampoo and conditioner provided. The door to the bathroom opens on the wrong side so it was difficult to get in the bathroom with it opening in a tight corner.

The views were amazing and the staff were exceptional. The manager saved us from missing our flight due to a road closure by taking us to the airport himself! Such kindness! Also the young lady on Reception I think was called Katie!! Was amazingly helpful!
Didn’t realise how difficult it would be to get around as taxi services are not readily available so next time we would definitely rent a car as there are some really lovely places to see!

Location is beautiful overlooking the Foyle estuary. Rooms are spacious and food is good. It is a short drive to Moville where you can walk the beautiful coastal path to Greencastle. If you drive to Greencastle a ferry goes across to Northern Ireland, Magillgan point . If you take the car you can explore the stunning beaches and scenery there . The ferry stops sailing at the end of September and costs £19 , one way , £27 return for a car and passengers
Some bedroom doors slam shut ! In our corridor there was a lot of loud slamming of doors . Ours closed slowly but some on the floor didn't. Younger staff were very pleasant and helpful. You cannot walk from the hotel as it is on a road and the coastal path is limited and over rocks.

Lovely breakfast with great views
Wedding party were shouting and banging on doors until 430am. Bathroom was scruffy and a huge hole in wall under the sink. Room was stifling hot during the night.
