The location and parking outside door prefect. It was spotless clean, comfortable beds to relax and watch Netflix.Bar downstairs was so relaxed atmosphere for few pints and games pool. Barmaid was unbelievably amazing at her work, she was so friendly and accommodating especially to my wee boy , he loved her thanks . Ate Dinner at Ballyliffen lodge was unreal and used swimming pool great facilities, also had lunch next day at Butterbean restaurant beside Joyce's equally as lovely 🥰 will return to in summer 🌞

Room 2, the bathroom steps especially with busy explorering toddler , no cot was available apon request unfortunately had to share my bed , and worry about him falling out 🙈🙈

Clean, well appointed room. Very comfortable bed. Convenient location in the centre of town. Toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities provided as is a hair dryer. No breakfast provided but The Coffee Corner and Diamond Cafe are lovely and very reasonably priced.

The rooms are up a steep flight of stairs. Our room had steps up to the bathroom and I was just rather wary of this. Anyone with mobility issues should request a room without steps. The base of the shower was slippery and I didn't see a mat. Noisy in the morning as doors, due to their design, seemed to bang a lot.

Love this place, it was our second time here and I have recommended it to some family and friends too! The rooms are fantastic especially for the price. The staff is absolutely lovely as are the locals. Great place to go out for a few drinks in the pub below, listen to some live music and have some craic. Located in the centre of Carndonagh close to pubs and few restaurants. Lovely homely atmosphere always feel very welcome and comfortable there - would recommend! The location is also great for exploring north Donegal and Northern Ireland.

Liked everything however, would point out that as the rooms are above a pub it can be a bit loud so not suitable for people who want to sleep early and can't sleep with noise however, it doesn't bother us. Would recommend going to the pub below instead for a bit of fun.

1. There was no breakfast-but cafe across road pretty good. However, would be much better if breakfast was available on site and you did not have to face wind and rain to get it! 2. Rooms very well equipped and clean. 3. Everything in room worked-all electrics, numerous sockets for my phone, laptop etc, heating easy to control and worked well, very good powerful shower.

1. The rooms at the back -very dark and no view. I paid for an upgrade to front room -which was excellent. front rooms large and bright with a great view of the Diamond outside . 2. Fact no breakfast on site.

We were a large family group in various locations in Carndonagh. There were around 14 of us staying at Joyce's over 3 nights. It was clean, friendly and we had a great time. The rooms were perfect for what we needed and although above the bar there was no travelling noise. Great location for us.

I had booked 3 rooms together as one booking for 3 nights each. Nearer the time of our travel 2 of these rooms were only required for 2 nights, after speaking to booking.com and Joyce's there was no way to amend 2 of the 3 bookings.. there we had to pay for the additional night even though we were going home. This was a learning for us for booking.com more than Joyce's however. I would definitely recommend this place and would come again.

Location was perfect as I was staying the night before a work event in Carndonagh. It was great to be so near and to have a >5 min drive to the event the following morning. The host was friendly and helpful and got me checked-in immediately upon arrival. Room and bedding was stylish, spotless and comfortable. Felt just like I was staying in a hotel. I would definitely be hoping to book in again if I come back to the area.

All my needs were met. I needed somewhere to stay the night before my work event that was clean, safe and close by. That's exactly what I received.

Very nice rooms, small but well furnished and very modern decor. Bed was very comfortable. Fast room heating system when needed. Exceptionally soft bath towels. Right in the centre of town with no street parking fees day or night. Complimentary access to a wonderful leisure centre/pool at sister premises (approx 7km away). Very good value overall and would recommend for costs conscious travel.

No meal option on the premises, but there are restaurant, take away, supermarket and café options close by. Water temperature in shower was tepid, at best. No towel racks in the bathroom should be an easy fix for the proprietors.

The rooms look quite new & in good condition. Not huge, perfect for one but maybe a squash for 2 people if they have lots of luggage. It’s over a pub but being a Tuesday night all was quiet. There’s no breakfast available but the cafe across the diamond was pointed out as being excellent. I’d definitely recommend Joyce’s if you’re looking for accommodation on Inishowen

All good

The room was very clean and comfortable and a great location in the centre of town . The staff were very friendly and helpful Would most definitely recommend Joyce's for a break in Donegal

Having the use of the spa and swimming facilities at the nearby Ballyllifen lodge hotel was excellent . Food in the restaurant afterwards was very good There is no breakfast available at Joyce's but there are plenty of choices to choose from in the town when looking to eat out. We will most definitely use again

It is centrally located in the town to go out to a cafe for breakfast in the mornings, restaurants for dinner in the evenings and pubs to socialise at night. Used towels were changed daily. Milk and biscuits that were used were replaced daily. The rooms have been done up recently. Would definitely stay here again. People of the town are so friendly and welcoming. There is so much to see on the Inishowen Peninsula. This location is central on the peninsula so is near all tourist attractions. Well worth a visit.
