The property matched our expectations perfectly, and has very accurate information online. I chose this location as I wasn't it a little further away from the noise, but still close to town with a great view. Even though we arrived after check-in has closed, there were still ample parks and the after-hours check-in process was very straight forward (easy to understand). We were very grateful to have a lake-view 2 bedroom apartment which had everything we needed for a 2-night stay over New Years.

The only thing we didn't enjoy was the bed Solid as a rock... But that's very typical of a New Zealand motel so I didn't berate the motel because of it. If you like a more supportive bed you'll probably love it.

View of the lake is amazing. Handy location with an easy to walk to cafes, souvenir shops and ferry terminal for glow worms tour. Short drive to supermarket. I had stayed here a couple of years ago and the rooms looked run down, but our room had been newly renovated and was really lovely, modern and spacious. Central heating kept us toasty warm.

Wished it had a vent / fan over the stove top so the smell and smoke from cooking dinner didn't stay trapped in the room, setting off the smoke alarm and requiring us to open windows and doors on a cold and rainy evening. Otherwise, everything was great!

Wow..I booked a room with a view, not expecting THE view we had. Glorious. The room facilities were great. Wish we could have stayed 2 nights, but the room wasnt available. Next time !

We found the lighting in the main room a little harsh and no bedside lamps made it challenging to read, but that is a very small concern. Having people sit at a 'picnic' table just outside our sliding door was a little disrupive with other guests sitting there - so we had to close the curtains for privacy, thus missing the view that we expressly booked the room for. We were in room 11. Perhaps move the tables further to the side of the lawn or further towards the road/footpath.

Comfy bed, beautiful location, staff was very friendly and thoughtful. All amenities are well equipped, everything is there for cooking, coffee and etc.

I stayed with my sister, I wanted to some soaking in bathtub that I was excited to having relax after long hours driving. Before dinner my sister had a quick shower then I tried to have bathing after dinner around 8.30pm. But hot water wasn't running..... only luke warm water... I waited for half an hour then tried again, but still room temperature water running,, so I had a bit chilly shower and gave up bathing...

Huge apartment, with separate bedroom. The unit can sleep up five (two adults and three kids/other adults).Bathroom had a separate toilet room, which would be very handy if it was more than one couple using the unit. Spectacular view over the lake. It also has a guest laundry, and as it was sunny when we were there we were able to use one of the two available clotheslines for drying, rather than the dryer.

It is about a seven minute walk into the Main Street/restaurants and shops. But this is actually quite alright when the sun goes down late, as the walk home after dinner along the lake is beautiful.

This was a lovely, modern and recently refurbished apartment, which was well kept, clean and in a nice, quiet location. The rooms were spacious, the furniture very comfortable and the shower was lovely. We appreciated the air conditioning on the hot days, and the ability to do our laundry and have ample space to put it. There was daily servicing of our rooms and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Also easy to walk into town, and plenty of parking available right outside the front door. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Te Anau.

There was nothing to dislike, it really was a wonderful apartment.

Our "Studio with a Lake View" was outstanding. The view from the room, or the balcony outside, was simply wonderful, looking over the well tended garden to the lake and across to mountains . We enjoyed watching the sunsets in the evenings. The room was spacious and well equipped, the galley kitchen was sufficient for us to prepare our own meals. Very simple to cross the road and walk alongside the lake either towards or away from the town

We seem to have outgrown climbing into the bath for our shower, although this was not a surprise, being shown on the listing.

This was a large apartment with a front room, separate bedroom and toilet and shower rooms along a hallway. The views from the deck of the lake were just amazing! The kitchen area was quite large and the beds were very comfortable. It is very close to the main part of downtown and the docks so is walkable to most activities in town.

They do seem to have limited parking and one night we came back later and couldn't find parking in the hotel lot which was disappointing. The front room of the apartment has a somewhat strange layout, but that is probably due to the fact that all the apartments are long and skinny so that they have the lake views.

Lovely apartment. Probably the best motel unit we've stayed in (though we did pay a decent rate for it). Exceptionally clean, lovely rooms and beautiful kitchen. Very clean bathroom, and clean rooms and clean, comfortable beds. Great shower. Good location - within 10 minutes or so to walk into town.

The apartments are set back from the other parts of the motel so are not in view of the lake - though this wasn't a massive disappointment and in hindsight wasn't guaranteed with the room type. There was however a view of a digger out the kitchen window which our son enjoyed :-) Toilet (which was separate from the bathroom - which is a good thing) didn't have a wash basin, so would be handy to have soap in the kitchen to wash hands.

The location is unbeatable, right across from the stunning Lake Te Anau—waking up to those views every day was pure bliss. The apartment had two spacious bedrooms, and the staff were consistently helpful. It was an excellent base for exploring and photographing the Fiordland area with ease.

The bathroom lacked an exhaust fan, but the provided room freshener was effective, so it wasn’t much of an issue.
