The venue is more like a suites hotel and an apartment. It is clean, fresh and relatively new. Our apartment had a kitchen diner, 2 bedrooms (1 on-suite), a bathroom and a private veranda overlooking the garden. Each morning (except Sundays) they leave freshly baked bread rolls outside the door, and there is free coffee/tea/hot chocolate along with biscuits available in the reception area. The kitchen is well stocked and the WiFi was excellent with a download speed of 67mbps. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent, being just a short walk to the town centre and one of the cable car lifts. On the day of departure the lady on reception kindly printed out our boarding passes for us. The venue emailed us on arrival with a list of forthcoming activities in the town and immediate area, as a result of which, we attended a concert by a string orchestra, some Alpine Horn music in one of the valleys, an evening of live music in a local bar, and one of our party attended a wood-carving class. We also used the included free passes for the nearby swimming pool, which is an excellent facility.

I thought that charging 10 Euros a day for parking outside the hotel was excessive. I would rather they built this into the price as it seems mean to charge extra when you are already paying quite a lot for accommodation. I also felt it was mean to charge 8 Euros to use the washing machines. If you had a full load that wouldn't be so bad, but people on holiday only really need to wash a few items at a time.

The Residence Villa Stella was absolutely beautiful with friendly and helpful staff. We were offered a free upgrade to a room with a stunning view of Ortisei and surrounding mountains. The room was comfortable and clean. Complimentary fresh bread at your door each morning was a bonus. I highly recommend staying here!

Villa Stella is very safety conscious, with door kept locked all the time and entry only available with the key card. Both our room and the rest of the property was spotless when we arrived, and the property remained so for the duration of our stay. Those buns in the morning! Both Karen and the receptionist (sorry, I forgot your name!) were approachable and always willing to assist. The property is centrally located and very close to two of the cable cars/funicular that takes you to all those wonderful places. We have many pleasant memories of our stay at this wonderful place, and would recommend it to everybody. Our collective rating for Villa Stella was a 9.5/10.

As previous posters commented, there is no oil and other amenities like salt available and we could not bring it along (all three other properties we used during our travels did). Not sure why we should pay for outside parking in summer.

Just perfect place for vacation in Orteisei. Beautiful view, clean rooms and great personal. Close to main lifts up to all directions of Dolomite Alps moutains.

Incredible views! Great location! The staff were so kind and helpful! I can't put into words how lovely our stay at Residence Villa Stella was. Beyond the beautiful views and tastefully designed interior, the service was impeccable (especially Tiziana)! The airline lost our checked luggage, but we were able to borrow some equipment which totally saved our trip. The location is great - we are happy to stayed in Ortisei - everything we needed was a short walk away. Thanks again, we look forward to visiting again soon! Note: We rented a car from Venice and drove there, but a bus-pass was provided for us. In the future, we would not rent a car, as everything we needed was within walking distance (and we used the bus passes to visit neighboring towns)

Apartment was very nice and well designed. We liked the little details like having plugs near the beds, plenty of hooks to hang backpacks/hats/etc, slippers to walk around in, blackout curtains, etc. The balcony was great - we sat outside almost every day enjoying the weather and views. It was also handy to quickly dry anything outside. Plenty of towels were provided for the week and the staff was very nice and gave adequate instructions during check-in. Picturesque outdoor seating area to just relax and enjoy the views, and the coffee machine was a nice perk. The location is convenient being close to the center of Ortisei while also being very close to the Seceda and Resciesa cable cars

We had to kill two flying roach-like insects in the apartment (maybe because the apartment was just above where the trash bins were outside).

Very nicely located property. Very clean and well designed. We stayed at the suite which had three balconies with seating arrangements overlooking the surrounding beautiful mountains and other sceneries. The location is perfect and is only few 2 - 3 minutes walking to the center. The owner is very welcoming. There is no breakfast served at the hotel but they send you freshly baked bread every morning at the apartment with coffee machine available at the reception 24-hrs for free. The hotel has a nice gated play ground for the kids. Parking in the garage is around the corner.

As usual, there is no AC, however the wether was nice during our stay so it was not a big issue. Even though if the hotel could provide some mobile ACs will be perfect. The garage parking is narrow but manageable.

This was possibly the most peaceful accommodation I have ever stayed in. We stayed for five nights and booked a ground floor apartment with direct access to the garden and playground. The apartment was quite spacious and well equipped. The laundry facilities in the building were useful and the small touches like fresh bread delivered to our door every morning made our stay more relaxing. We were traveling with small children and the child-friendly details like the bed safety rail, children's bathrobes, cookies in the lobby, and the playground made all the difference. The location is fantastic close to the pedestrian area of Ortisei, a supermarket, and the two main cable cars for Seceda & Seiser Alm. Upon check-in we were provided with vouchers for public transport and the local pool which we didn't use but the gesture itself was nice. These are self-service apartments and there was no housekeeping during our stay which was perfect because it felt like home and we didn't need to 'tidy up the toys' everyday. Free coffee & tea and snacks are available in the lobby and cleaning supplies are also provided in the apartment as well as a generous supply of towels. There is also paid parking available on site. Highly recommended.

The hotel is a perfect place to stay when you are visiting Ortisei. It was our favorite accommodations during our two week visit to the Dolomites. We were warmly greeted at the reception area and quickly shown to our apartment. The apartment was large and clean with not one but two beautiful balconies that overlooked the town and surrounding mountains. The apartment was also stocked with everything needed to be very comfortable. Parking was available right outside the hotel entrance as well as underground. The lobby had a very nice area with a coffee machine and cookies which could be enjoyed in your room or the lovely terrace at the back of the hotel. The hotel also conveniently had a laundry room (8 Euro for wash or dry) as well as a boot room with large number of boot dryers. The location of this hotel is wonderful because it is within walking distance of the cable cars, grocery store and restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend this hotel!

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Everyone is super pet friendly. Every spot of the hotel is extremely clean (even the ski room and the parking lot!) The room has everything you need and more. Very cozy and well-decorated. My wife fell completely in love with the design of the room, hallways, and common areas. The staff was amazing, they were super friendly and always polite. 100% RECOMMENDED. If you come to Ortisei and not stay at Villa Stella you are missing out.
