We absolutely loved our corner room #316 The view was incredible. The location was great too. Breakfast was pretty decent too. The bed was comfortable as well.The attached bar next to the lobby was also loads of fun and the owner was very friendly.

The fridge is connected to the overall electricity grid for the room so when you go out for the day the fridge goes off so you can't keep any cool drinks in it. You only get 2 towels no hand towels. No safe. Plus sometimes the staff are friendly and sometimes they are rather cool it seems to depend on the day.

This is my third time staying in this hotel. So far, the reason why I keep coming back is the value for money. For the prices of the rooms they offer, you'll get to have a comfortable experience in Sapa. Between the duration of 5 years, everything about this hotel has been consistent. The rooms were sufficiently spacious with enough equipment you'll need for your stay considering the weather. Depending on the rooms you booked, you'll probably get a room with a glimpse of the terraces and a sight of the clouds emerging. The beds provides warmth with the electric bed heater attached to it. The breakfast they offer was one of our highlights as they were well prepared and had a homey quality to it. There were a lot of very good selections for the food as well and I highly recommended their pho. Their lobby will welcome you with warmth from their fireplace. There is access to the next door bar which also has a very nice vibe. My only issue with my stay here is the bathroom. The water heater collects only a certain amount of water and only after a short time the water would become cold. Considering the temperature & weather we were in at that time, it was hard to use the bathroom facilities. Another slight issue for me is the room's main locks. The room door locks were traditional key access with push locks. As most hotel room locks these days are through card access, I feel like the traditional door lock were not as secure as I hope. However, overall this hotel is highly recommended and would definitely go back to stay here again and again for their very affordable rates and comfortable stay.

The bathroom water heater-- as it is not sufficient for the weather & temperature. Although the bathroom is spacious, the heater running out was hard to endure.

The breakfast was really good. There are a lot of choices and all of them are yummy. Ofcourse they have fried rice haha. I like rice haha some of the restos they don’t have rice only noodles. This hotel god noodles and rice for you to choose. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my relatives and friends and if I come back I would stay here again. The best for me was the heater on the bed, it was very cold, it was January 3 hehe, they have both aircon heater and bed heater. I slept like a log. The best and perfect.

A spectacular view from our rooms, and a pleasant balcony making it easy to enjoy Sapa's beauty. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms worked well. Daily room service was appreciated. Breakfast was the same each morning, but the food was good. Excellent location near the funicular station and many shops, restaurants and bars.

My only complaint was that the artificial wood flooring in Room 314 was badly warped and broken, making it easy to hurt your feet, particularly at night.

I booked 4 rooms at the Phuong Nam hotel for 3 nights a year ago for 11 people, but due to circumstances 3 persons dropped out so I had to re-juggle. I cancelled 2 rooms ( so easy on booking) & re-booked a double room that's why I am able to make 2 reviews. I finally ended up with 1 Quadruple room with mountain view & Deluxe double with panorama view on one booking & Deluxe double with mountain view on another. Soon after booking I made contact with Hai (owner) on WhatsApp. I stayed in the Quadruple room with my wife, son & niece. The room was of a good size & the view was great. I loved the bathroom the most, super big & the hot water was 🔥. The buffet breakfast was exceptional with many choices. I loved the sweet potato. I had 2 full days in Sapa. I definitely wanted to visit Sunworld Fansipan Legend for 1 of the days but the other day I was a little unsure. I tried a few agents in Hanoi about a day tour but none of them provided what I wanted & very expensive. I decided to ask Hai & he suggested I contact Nomad trails. Definitely need to download WhatsApp when in Vietnam! We came up with a tour of Cat Cat village in the morning & Heavens gate & Tram Ton pass in the afternoon including a 15 seater minibus & guide at a very reasonable price. The office for Nomad trails is only a 3 min walk from the hotel. We bought our tickets for Fansipan legend from Nomad trails as well with a 45k Vnd discount on each ticket. Sapa station for the Funicular to Fansipan legend is a further 2 min walk. There are many restaurants each side of the road within a short distance of the hotel. Good morning Vietnam was my favourite. There is also a pub at the front of the hotel where we had a few beers & cocktails on our last night. Lastly you should not miss venturing to the rooftop. The view is amazing & you can also book a Jacuzzi. Thank you so much Hai for your hospitality

1. The valley side view is amazing and entire SaPa valley can be seen from morning to evening. 2. Rooms are spacious, clean and having all necessary facilities including geyser, heater, air conditioner 3. Staff is friendly and helped us to book Ticket for Hanoi travel and also they are very polite. Housekeeping was also good. 4. Location is very nearby (just 200 meter) to SaPa station and Indian Restaruant (Ganesh) 5. Breakfast was of buffet type and having almost all continental variety. For Vegetarian people lot of fruits and options are there. Only Indian cuisine was missing.

Not major points but there is a scope for improvement 1. Hotel didn’t have provision for Hot Milk as we needed it for Baby. We requested during Breakfast time but it wasn’t fulfilled. 2. There was no machine for Coffee 3. There should be provision for Green / Red indicators. Green for Vegan or Vegetarian food and Red for meat based food items. As the staff wasn’t fully confident on the same.

We stayed in a beautiful room with a balcony. The view was amazing!! Even when the mist came in, it felt like we were sitting in a cloud. You can smoke on the balcony too which was a pro for us. Location is good, staff are friendly. They did our laundry for us. Lots of nice places to eat nearby. Shower was hot. The sky jacuzzi looked amazing too (infinity style), you have to pay extra for a timed session and book a couple hours in advance.

We would have loved to try out the sky jacuzzi, however it isn’t open during their winter as it is too cold! It doesn’t take away from our rating - totally understandable! But a little disappointing for us!

My family loves it here! From the moment we arrived, the accommodating and friendly staff made us feel welcome, ensuring a pleasant experience. The rooms were impressively clean, reflecting the hotel’s commitment to hygiene and comfort. Each room is equipped with functional amenities, making it easy to relax and enjoy your time. One of the standout features is the breathtaking view, which adds an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. I highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent place to stay with great view as we chose the room facing the mountains. They serve great breakfast. The pub on the ground floor was awesome as we played snooker and sipped the happy hour beer. The massage opposite to the hotel was great value for money too and the restaurant 24 served delicious food. Hotel is few steps away from Sapa railway station which takes you to the Sunworld Fansipan cable car which was amazingly convenient. The staff is excellent they got our 9kg laundry done in few hours.

We loved that the location is near the center, shops and restaurants. We didn't have to book a grab or hail taxis because everything was walkable (we were young travelers). The room is also spacious, and has big windows and a balcony which is super nice and aesthetic! The room amenities were great too.

We had difficulty managing the shower heater because it was super hot, or back to cold.
