View: I can see the Mount Agong very clear Room: acceptable but there are so many sounds of animals that I don't know where. Breakfast/Dinner: The portion is good. Can request to eat in your room

So many sounds of animals that you don't know where they are. The bathroom is so natural that you can see the sky because of no roof. Before starting your journey, make sure to bring food from Indomaret because there are no marts nearby. Unless you wanna eat from the cafe that will charge you tax as well... The road to get there is also very confusing and very small... Prepare for it.

The view of the rice terraces is stunning and when the cloud parted, Mt Agung is an awesome sight. Nice pool and pool furniture. The staff were particularly attentive and absolutely lovely. Excellent English spoken which makes for nice interactions. Nuyomen the manager was present each evening in the restaurant and is very interesting, telling us about the local customs and even invited us to a local gathering.

Like most accommodation in Bali there are signs it was once in better form. Broken tiles, a pool table that is now wrecked but still there piled high with stuff.

The room was very comfortable. Loved the outdoor shower. it was chilly during this time of year, fan and air conditioning was not needed at all. The view of the mountain was quite obscured by the cloud, once again due to the rainy season but when I do get to see the mountain, it was majestic. Food at the restaurant was pretty impressive. It feels home cooked, which adds to the cozy feel of the place. It does get really windy here, so bring a jacket.

The villa was perfect for us. Maybe a little dated, but the location is simply amazing in the edge of a rice field with the most amazing views. This area is the pure authentic Bali, not commercialised yet. The staff was extremely helpful and always trying to accomodate very request. Perfect massages, good scooters and terrific vibe. We had a great time!

The villa was a little dated and the decoration pillows a bit tired.. but all very clean otherwise. Not 5 star, but perfect for us.

It is very much as the name says! A superb view! You're very much out in nature here which is wonderful. No chance of sleep without ear plugs, but the noises of all the wildlife are just as relaxing to listen to. Staff are all pleasant. Checking out, there was no one around at all, so we waited for about 20 minutes and left the key on the desk. It's a very chilled place, lots of walking can be done, we just didn't have enough time to do it. Pool looks great too.

As seems to be the case everywhere in Bali, coffee isn't good. Bed was ok, but a bit old and firm. We ordered a sambol with dinner as nowhere seems to offer spicy food and it didn't come. My husband went and asked if it was coming as we had almost finished our food but they had forgotten.

Beautiful view and pool. We stayed in the bamboo hut which was so lovely. Sitting on the balcony watching the rice fields was a highlight. So peaceful! The people who worked there also went above and beyond! We got massages at the hotel which were excellent. While there we did the sunrise Mt Batur trek, a rice field trek and white water rafting. All of these were great fun!

It rained a lot while we were there so it was difficult to dry anything. A dehumidifier in the room would have been good. Also something for visitors to note is that this place is quite isolated. This suited us after coming from busy Ubud but perhaps not everyone’s cup of tea as you need a car or scoter to get to any activity or dinner out (there is a restaurant there though).

Great value and great view ! The staff was so nice and always so helpful also thanks to NIA for helping us with everything l ! My partner is especially coeliac , they made the meals gluten free and made us feel safe to eat it here and stay there for 2 nights! Hopefully they will have a gluten free menu soon ! Also the room has a water bottle that's a plus and the air-conditioning is great 👍 And they have a hair dryer too!

Don't really like the bathroom

Great Mountain Views Villa is a great and peaceful place to stay. Apart from the amazing mountain and rice fields views you will be surrounded by super friendly and helpful staff. Everyone was very patient answering questions about Balinese culture😄 The resort offers additional attractions like the massage or trip to the mountains and lots of other things for very affordable prices. If we ever go back to the area we will definitely book a room there again.

We travelled as a family of 3 (with our 1.5 years old daughter) and loved our stay in GMV. The views are breathtaking, the staff is extremely kind and makes you feel like part of a family. We were spoiled with clear views of Mt. Agung every morning during our stay. There isn't a huge choice of food in the restaurant but everything we tried had a home cooked taste to it. The location gives a great opportunity to be in the middle of and connect with the nature and we used it as a chance for our small daughter to explore seeing different small insects, butterflies, frogs, small lizards. Althought the location feels remote there is a lot to do around from simple walking around the fields and the plantations of the villages to longer drives to temples in est Bali that they can arrange for you (we found the prices quite fair)

Been here before, and i'm back for a reason. Location and view - if you're aiming to hike Batur or Agung, or simply want to stay in a secluded and unpretentious little resort with the most stunning views of Agung, this is likely the best option. Go for a room upgrade and get one with a view from your balcony. Staff - nice, genuine and and always available. Food - not the most extensive menu, but food is great all around. The pool - lovelty

Nothing in particular, aside from maybe the need for more sunbeds especially when the hotel has more guests.
