Myself and my wife stayed here last year and we love the spa hotel. it's a fabulous place to stay reasonable priced the staff are great above and beyond .the food is superb the rooms so cosy and the bed is better than my own lol .but seriously yes the bed is better than mine .the bar has a excellent selection of beers wines and spirits .and outside the hotel a short stroll is the beach and the pier .stunning views of the north yorkshire coastline. We will be back again soon .

From the moment we arrived, most staff we encountered were very friendly and chatty. Special mention to Karen on reception and Connor one of the bar staff who didn't stop moving. We had a couple of issues in the room which were rectified during our stay. Breakfast food was very good quality with decent portions sizes - see below regarding service.

One slight downside was that service at breakfast was a bit slow - we put this down to breakfast being served indoors and outdoors (in the seating area in the car park and on the outside terrace?). Staff appeared to be a bit discombobulated.

Great setting with gorgeous views. Very comfortable room. Lovely decor and very comfortable social areas in the hotel. Nice food. A very warm welcome. Staff went the extra mile to provide blankets for outside dining and to put our cases in our room. Staff were warm and humorous.

Last orders for dinner were 8.45pm. We ordered at 8.35pm. When we finished we were just left. Nobody cleared our table or asked us if we wanted desert or coffee. When we went back inside just after 10pm we mentioned that our plates etc were still outside. There was no apology. The staff member who had made us so welcome on arrival very grudgingly provided a drink and did not even make eye contact. Everything else had been perfect for the end of our walk and we would return but this was not in keeping with the rest of our experience.

We had an excellent welcome upon arrival, and after being booked in we shown to our room and our bags carried for us. The room was large and comfortable, very clean and well presented. We had evening dinner which was very tasty and filling. For breakfast, after a great night's sleep, we both had the Yorkshire Cooked breakfast and that was excellent, too. As we stayed for 2 nights the next day's breakfast we went for something lighter but nevertheless was extremely good. The view from the restaurant was excellent, looking out to the sea, This is a hotel everyone would enjoy.

Anything mentioned here are really minor niggles, e.g. I would have preferred a coffee pot at breakfast but only a single cup (no saucer) was provided. There. That's not so bad is it?

The accommodation far exceeded what we expected. The location was perfect for our first visit to Saltburn. We will certainly return in the future, hopefully for a longer period of time. Our visit on this occasion was only a one night stay so we were unable to try out the treatments on offer but we will return when time permits to indulge in one or more of the available pamper packages.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about the accommodation. It was quite a steep walk down to the beach but being keen walkers and reasonably fit this didn't bother us at all.

We were in the Outlook apartment with the most amazing views. Absolutely stunning place to gaze out over the sea and cliff and watch the surfers play. The check in team were super helpful and friendly and the restaurant staff were excellent.

To get these views, you do have to be prepared for a steep walk up the path, followed by stairs- it could be difficult for those with mobility issues. We had our 70 year old mother with us and she made it ok, but we had to take her bag up for her, she would never have been able to roll it up that incline.

Me and my wife arrived at 2.30 pm and straight away front of house so helpful and friendly. showed us to our room the room was fantastic the bed was so comfy. fantastic views of the waves crashing the sound of the sea .in the restaurant the service staff are brilliant can't do enough for you .and the food oh the food is so so good .the bar has a great selection of beers wines and spirits. We stayed on the rhubarb gin and then when we retired to our room we used room service so fast .Next morning the breakfast was probably the best breakfast I've ever had can't wait to go back there

Perfect location for exploring the hidden gems of Saltburn. Fantastic views from the lower out door seating area. We enjoyed lovely breakfasts and an evening meal during our 3 night stay, friendly staff.

Attic rooms are not worth the increase in price for Seaview. No welcome information in the room of the lovely area which might be helpful to travelling guests. We received very limited room servicing which was disappointing for the price. Breakfast not included for those that book via booking.com which seems a little unfair as we wouldn’t have found the Hotel without using booking.com!!

The lovely ambience and family feel of the hotel. The staff were welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to make you feel at home. Jovana and Niamh along with Steve were always cheerful, chefs, Gary and Hannah were very accommodating in preparing Ready brek for my son who had mouth abscess and unfortunately couldn't eat. Thank you to Karen and Natalie on reception for making our stay complete. An added bonus was the fact we had a ground floor room with access to the car park through patio doors.

Location excellent Breakfast n/a Room good size, comfortable, good views, got the rooms we requested. Renovations were in progress but we were notified early then reminded again about a week out from arriving with an apology that the renovations were taking longer than expected. A day or two before we arrived from Lake Windermere their area experienced flash floods so we checked with the Spa Hotel as to conditions and we got a very prompt reply that all was well…awesome communication Awesome walks from the hotel

Probably the parking for guests, we were lucky we got parking each time we came in from a day out but it created a bit of nervousness each time we came back from an outing as to whether we’d get a park, however we were notified of the parking before we arrived.
