We thought the staff were absolutely outstanding the greeting on arrival from Yasmin (sorry may not be spelt correctly) was very professional. Gianluca was ever present in the hotel. Extremely friendly and professional. We didn’t eat breakfast but use the sky bar for drinks - great vibe and we used the restaurant at street level for drinks and dinner twice! Again no complaints all excellent

Room 1107 was a bit noisy in the morning with slapping doors if we are honest - not sure if it was other guests or the staff room. The auto light in the bathroom seemed to keep coming on unless you closed the doors - not meant as complaints more as grumbles and observations for you to be aware of

Location was super convenient- a straight short walk (5min) to the conference Center and water. While not a big hotel, I liked the decor, room was quiet, beds were comfy and I got a free upgrade! There’s also a Tim Horton right next door. I also recommend the restaurant next door (Hydra)!

I didn’t need it but I heard the gym is off-site so that might not be so convenient for some. No breakfast included.

This small yet dedicated team made us feel truly welcome. The hotel itself is fabulous; modern, beautifully designed, and whisper-quiet inside. Our room was a sanctuary of comfort: stylish, impeccably clean, and delightfully warm. The bed was an absolute dream—sumptuous linens, plush pillows, and a level of quiet that gave us the best sleep. The bathroom..pure indulgence! Heated marble floors added a touch of luxury, while the sleek, contemporary design was complemented by L’Occitane toiletries, fluffy bathrobes, and generously sized towels—every detail felt considered and exquisite. The location is just as impressive. A Tim Hortons right next door made for the perfect grab-and-go coffee before strolling the safe and vibrant streets of downtown Vancouver. Another standout feature - the convenience! We walked just 300 metres from the Waterfront SkyTrain Station straight to the hotel—so easy and stress-free. We enjoyed a 10min walk to Gastown and the CF Pacific Centre, Vancouver’s premier luxury shopping destination, was only a four-minute walk away. So much, so close by! The Azur is, without a doubt, a perfect 10! A seamless blend of boutique luxury, comfort, and outstanding hospitality. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!

Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff. The location was prime for everything. Will recommend to all people visiting Vancouver.

The only things I would suggest are having a locking or fully closing door to the bathroom, and the option to turn off all the lights in the room. I find it difficult to sleep with the night light on the table lamp. Other than that, everything was beautiful.

Beautiful, elegant hotel with super comfy bed, luxury shower, fridge and robes. Location felt safe and accessible. Concierge kindly looked after our bags before check-in as we had a trip planned to the island.

Although the fragrance in the lobby is lovely, it was a bit strong at times, but I am sensitive to this. Lights on keypads in the room are very bright. I solved this by buying some dark coloured large bandaids to place over at night. Not the best solution, but had to sleep.

staff were so helpful with transportation suggestions, told us which bus to take, offered to call a taxi, etc. wonderful shower and toiletries. Heated bathroom floor was very nice. comfortable bed and bedding. well stocked mini bar. great location for exploring downtown vancouver.

would have liked access to morning coffee even though there is a nespresso in the room, I am used to a larger cup of coffee. maybe a vending machine for snacks and drinks.

Upon entering hotel, we were greeted instantly. The atmosphere was beautifully decorated for Christmas, smelled wonderful and was clean and welcoming. We were planning to store luggage since arriving early, they had a room available! The entire stay, from each employee to appetizer and drinks at the bar was exceptional. I would return and recommend this hotel for a lovely stay in Vancouver.

Towels in room were scratchy.

The welcoming staff ie Brendon et al, were absolutely outstanding. So cheerful and helpful. They would mingle with guests and not stay behind a desk. We absolutely loved one of the sushi restaurants Brendon recommended. The bar area was also first class - decor, food, drink and especially the waitress! So very pleasant.

The beds/pillows could have been somewhat more comfortable. It was difficult to program the thermostat.
