It was clean and very centrally located m.

When booking says breakfast included it should have everything in it. They gave us coupons to next door cafe for breakfast and no morning tea or coffee was included. Paying separately for breakfast tea or coffee was a shame and wrong advertisement I guess

We like the bed room , it's big and comfortable

We didn't like the bathroom because it's hard to control water temperature, sometimes it's too hot sometimes it's too cold and it dose suit the baby or small kid because they couldn't have shower from this kind of bathroom, the water direction will go over their head and wouldn't get any water on there body, it was difficult for us to give shower for our 2.t year old kid because we afraid she would get burn from the hot water which hard to control cold or hot.

Location and facilities. Near to everything. Kids love the place. Food places to eat nearby

Complimentary Breakfast added into the booking required us to go to some restaurant at the back of hotel. The breakfast menu is way too limited and foos isn’t great. I hopped on to the breakfast place opposite to that. I hope they improve the quality of breakfast

The view from the room over the Lake was spectacular. Check in was great. On departure Lyn the receptionist we asked if she knew anywhere to do a helicopter landing on the snow and we got some quotes and they were extremely expensive. Lyn had recommended the place next to hotel for breakfast while we were there she come over and sorted a helicopter landing for us and made booking. Didn’t expect her to do this as she had a broken leg on crutches. We were so happy with her service and I would highly recommend this accommodation If your doing the starry nights tour as it’s a 2 minute walk.

The room was very spacious and warm in the cold nights. The location was incredible with beautiful views and close proximity to all restaurants, shops and activities.

The bathroom facilities were a little dated and had issues with a leaking toilet and cracked flooring near the shower.

Location was excellent and in the heart of Tekapo Village. Walking distance to shops, cafe's, restaurants, and the lake. Room had a wonderful view over the lake and the verandah with seats was a bonus. The room was big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids although the TV in the main bedroom could have been in the kitchen/dining area. The hotel owners were very friendly and helpful.

A little small to really relax as only 1 armchair in the room. Everyone else had to sit around the table to wind down after a busy day or watch TV in the main bedroom on the bed. Luckily for us, we weren't in the room for too long as we were out for most of the days.

The view to the lake is unbeatable. The location is pretty central, the supermarket and restaurants are within 2-5 mins walk. The room was very clean.

There was no daily cleaning service or even to change the towel. The parking space on the front of the hotel are quite limited but luckily there is general parking lot besides.

Room was comfortable and we enjoyed the lovely view from the balcony. Great location right in the village.

A lot of light came in through the glass front door and there was no blind. Our fridge was extremely noisy all night

Very easy to locate the motel, check-in was a breeze and we were given a room with great location, fantatastic view which contains a bath tub. We could even park our car right infront of it! Proximity to the lake, cafe, restaurants was so so so close. Walk to the little church and dog statue across the bridge was such a pleasure. It helps that the skies was so sunny when we arrived at Lake Tekapo as it makes the colour of the lake absolutely breathtaking. It IS the best part of our journey in South Island.

We left our new cap there which made us rather sad but it's got nothing to do with the motel.

Great location, a little grumpy but very helpful staff, very clean room, convenient parking just in front of the property. Within walking distance to great restaurants and the Church of the Good Shepherd.

A nearby property seemed to be under renovation during our stay (2023/03/30-31), which made the entrance not so obvious at first. It did not bother me since I did not hear any noise.
