How to sum up Haian Beach Resort and Spa in one word? Exceptional. In every respect! First time guest, many time visitor to the country. I booked a 14 night stay at Haian and from the outset the communication was prompt and informative. Transportation from the airport was arranged easily and my smiling driver was there to greet me in a vehicle which had massage seats! Now where do I start? You are absolutely spoiled for choice with the phenomenal breakfast buffet. A wonderful fusion of Vietnamese and Western offerings, many different fresh fruits, an egg station cooking omelettes and your choice of eggs, the pho station, the freshest and most beautiful salads, an extensive range of cakes and pastries, fresh juices, coffee and tea and more. You won’t find a better start to the day than this one! There is something for everyone. Happy Hour cocktails up on the rooftop were a wonderful end to the day overlooking the ocean and the spectacular horizon pool and the bar staff were so attentive! The cocktails were actually the cheapest I found. An impeccable housekeeping team who always greeted you with a smile and who brought your room back to spotlessly clean every time. The Hanatural Spa Treatments. Absolute bliss! And the location. Right opposite the beachfront overlooking stunning My An Beach within walking distance to everything! Very quickly I started to feel like part of the Haian family on this trip and I cannot wait to return with my next trip already booked! I booked a partial ocean view room and it was spacious and equipped with everything you need on a vacation. Drinking water is provided each day. An extremely well managed and run hotel. The owners and management should be very proud! Value for money and location 10/10. Staff 11/10! I couldn’t recommend Haian Beach Hotel and Spa more highly!

Great hotel located right opposite My Khe beach. We booked 2 rooms for our family - a double city view and an ocean front suite. Our suite was lovely and spacious. We were located on the 20th floor so had amazing views! The breakfast buffet was massive with lots of options.

We chose this hotel for the rooftop pool but only had the afternoon on our first day to enjoy it as we were notified 9pm that evening that it would be closed for the next 2 days, which was the rest of our stay. We were extremely disappointed and although we were offered transfers to another hotel pool, it was a ground floor pool and not as nice. This put a damper on our stay otherwise we would’ve scored this hotel 9/10.

The room had a very high standard and was good looking. No complaints at all. We ordered food twice and it looked and taste perfect. We enjoyed a couple massage, which was the best we've ever had - I had a lot - and it was 500k cheaper than expected due to special offer. The service at hotel was all over perfect and outstanding. The staff contacted me on WhatsApp before I did it myself. The breakfast was good and the shuttle service had the most comfy seats. I've been in many hotels but Haian topped all of them while the prices for everything is cheap for a central European. We enjoyed it a lot and I'm a bit sad we didn't stay longer. Highly recommending.

A friend highly recommended Haian Beach Hotel before my trip to Da Nang. So I canceled my previous booking and decided to stay at Haian for 8 nights during my two-month Southeast Asia trip. I enjoyed my time so much that I even extended my stay by 4 more days so this review will be an appreciate thank you note. I stayed in 3 different rooms, each of which were spotless, spacious, and comfortable. I liked the high quality bed sheets, comfortable bed, all the amenities. I also liked the soundproof, I could not hear a lot of noise despite the busy location and the hotel being fully booked. The hotel is situated across the beach and this was perfect for morning or evening walks. I liked the client oriented customer service a lot. Check in was fast, once you enter someone greets you with water or afternoon tea. In all my interactions with the staff they were super professional. A special thanks to Subeo for being so good at her job. She managed to help me with all my requests, was very calm, kind, empathetic and professional in each interaction. The hotel is really lucky to have her. Breakfast was continental and had a wide variety of food options. I can get a bit crowded at times but arriving at the right hour solved it. The pool was clean, safe and well maintained. Great service there as well, not to mention the nice view from the sky bar. I was pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful gesture of a restaurant voucher or fruit gift as a returning guest. Small gesture but it counts a lot. In conclusion I felt like home at this hotel and it was hard to say good bye. Was a great choice and will return maybe as a couple of family one day.

If I need to complain about something, it would be minor. They had an elevator and gym maintenance while I was visiting. The gym could use more machines and seems that the hotel is already working on this. The elevator maintenance was managed great as well, appreciated the communication and did not notice major disruptions.

Great location, calm and classy set up and hotel works seamlessly to accommodate. Rooms are good size and all essentials are there. Fab pool with great views of the sea. Literally across a busy road from the ocean. (Despite noise of traffic you don’t hear in rooms). Arranged bike rental with them- it allowed us to book without handing over passports but bike had to be changed 4 times in a week- wasn’t ideal but hotel did best to get it immediately resolved. Was my husbands birthday and they arranged the afternoon pianist to play “happy birthday” and brought him a cake (free of charge) with a card from the hotel. Whilst limited options at breakfast for me as. Vegan, my husband was more than happy with the extensive range including pho, egg station, pancakes, dim sum, salads & fresh fruit, pastries and cakes as well as bacon, sausages and more traditional Vietnamese breakfast options. Behind hotel is array of mini marts that are great for snacks and drinks for the room- the hotel has a back entrance which was super helpful and right out of the back was great massage place & a selection of restaurants.

I got a fake tan stain on bedding- something that has never been issue as frequent traveller but they charged me bedding cost (saying stain couldn’t be removed… something I do easily at home in regular wash) disappointed by response but apart from that issue, cannot fault the hotel. The only other let down was temperature of water.. shower never got hot enough for us. Not issue i. Grand scheme of things.

Meticulous staff , all my airport taxi bookings and day trips were precisely available and Lindsey and Alina were very responsive on Whatsapp for all the planning and queries. The hotel is located in an excellent location on the My Khe beach road . I did some wonderful beach runs during our 4 day stay. The staff helped plan our day trips to Hue and Hoi An/Marble mountains and local sight seeing. The breakfast area is HUGE and spread is just awesome with Vietnamese dishes from all over and a live Banhmi / Pho counter. The rooftop infinity pool is one of a kind and just our bad luck it was rainign during our stay and couldnt enjoy it fully. All in all a great stay ! Will love to come back.

Nothing much at all. The evening tea / coffee options could have been little different from the breakfast options but nothing really to complain.

-Our bathroom had a slight smell probably from drains, but everything else was so good that we just closed the door and didn't make a fuss. If i had complained, I'm certain they would have rectified -No aircon in the elevator. This might seem petty, but when you're going to floor 22 on a 36 degree celsius day, this is very uncomfortable and unpleasant. -Afternoon tea needs some sandwiches or other savoury options. It's mainly sweet options and not a lot of choice. -Aircon in the lobby needs to be just a little cooler -Aircon in restaurant also needs to be a little cooler

Perfectly situated on the beach in Da Nang, we found the Haian Beach Hotel and ideal location in Central Vietnam. Our flight into Da Nang was scheduled for late into the evening and the staff at the hotel were more than happy to arrange a pickup from the airport. Our room was well presented, the bathroom clean and the bed extremely comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the roof top swimming pool and bar. From the hotel location it was a short 40 minute taxi to the town of Hoi An. We also visited the marble mountains and the dragon bridge, which at 9pm on the weekend spits out Fire and Water. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a central base in the centre of Vietnam.

Subeo is the customer relations lady at this hotel and she went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay in Danang, suggesting tours, helping us to book our overnight bus for the next leg of our trip and assisting us with late check out and the storage of our luggage until our departure from Danang. She followed up with us each morning to check that the previous day had been successful. Our room was spacious and comfortable and overlooked the sea. The hotel pool area, facilities and service were fabulous and the pool bar pricing was very reasonable.

In the late afternoon, the pool is in the shade, but that is literally the only "flaw" ... and by that stage of the day, you should be on the beach anyway!
